Would you be able to give us more details on the welded heat shields, I've done some searching and haven't found anyone else who welds them on. I haven't really been able to find much info on it at all!
Hi Phil... Did you say on another video to wrap it back to front or front to back.? (I can't find the video) Regarding the air flow into the overlaps. Thanks.
hI phil, thanks for your sharing! I have a question, I saw thermo-tec has 1 in. x 50 ft and 2 in. x 50 two specs, which one do you recommend for wrapping my gr yaris's cat-back pipe?
@@RotheliRacing agree, i wrapped the top third of my NA v6 including the manifolds with 2" much easier to cover than with the 1" i always used that spray too its very effective
@@colinscutt5104 1" is more for complicated curvy parts of exhausts like some headers. For those parts the 2" is a bit too wide and gets thick on the inside radius of the curves because of excessive material building up when overlapping each turn. Not sure I was clear here ?
Hi Phil, which de-cat downpipe is this? and does it reduce from 100mm / 4" down to 75mm / 3" roughly? Maybe you've done a video on it I've missed - - - maybe not, I thought I'd binge watched them all(!)
Temperature "guns" do not work correctly on reflective surfaces, you need to put some black tape on it to measure correctly, or use a EGT probe or something that does not burn. It would have been nice to know how hot the rear diff actually gets, the models without Mechanical LSD should not have problems getting hot.
Its called Integrated Rigid Thermal Insulation , I love this type of insulation more like OEM on newer high end cars.
The best gr advice !!!! 👌✌️ thank u for all ur vidz
Thanks Mate. 😊

I‘ll try to get someone in front of a camera to explain this. 😁

Back to front. 😉
Hey, mit Folierung! Sauber.
Hi Phil, why not ceramic coat?
Because this method keeps heat in the exhaust much better than ceramic coating.

I would take the 2“ wide.

Hi Phil, how should we order it and which is the cost of it? It goes by meters or something? Do you have any installation vid? Thanks!
Hi
You need to find a shop near you who can do it for you.
@@RotheliRacing thanks a lot, I thought that could be done DIY! Great content as usual man!
Macht nur für die Rennstrecke Sinn? Fahre "nur" Strasse, jedoch hauptsächlich kurvige Bergstrecken.
Viele Hersteller isolieren so Ihre Auspuffanlagen von ganz „normalen“ Sportautos. 🤷🏻♂️

It‘s the Garage Whifbitz Exhaust.
I made a video about it. 😉
