- Ghruta is the traditional method of making ghee in Ayurveda.
PIOR Living makes the most exceptional Ghruta available. It is more sattvic (pure and good) than conventional ghee due to the intention and care that goes into the making of Ghruta from the treatment of the cows to the production and method.

Hello and blessings from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you Clare for your incredible knowledge, warmth and beautiful positive energy🧘♀️🙏💕
I’ve been plant based for over 29 years and recently my doctor strongly suggested I incorporate ghee into my diet. I started buying grass fed butter from New Zealand and making my own ghee. Unfortunately I had to stop consuming it as I had an allergic reaction - it all makes sense now thank you!!!
Do you happen to know of any reputable company that produces Ghruta that ships to Canada?
Wishing you much success and Millions of views with your awesome channel 🙏🧘♀️
Thank you
Maria
Hi Maria, so sweet of you. Thank you. I’m not 100% sure on ghruta shipments to Canada, PIOR might. :) local farmers market usually have nice locally made ghee, which is a good replacement if you can’t find actual ghruta

WhileI appreciate you bringing to light the treatment of the animals, please consider that we are told how much the country of India worships their cattle and treats them so well.
However it shocks most people to find out that India is the second highest beef producing country in the entire world, second only to Brazil.
Think about in these farms where they are getting the milk. What are the calves drinking? They are taken from their mothers and sold And being forced to drink formula instead of the mothers milk. It would be financially impossible for these farmers to keep the mothers together with the babies to produce enough milk to make a profit and feed their young.
It is extremely distressing to Both the mother and the baby when they are taken away from each other.
Before endorsing any company, please ask for full transparency. I would visit their farm to see their operations before believing in the story they are telling us of the treatment of these animals.
