I really do miss the classic d-pads that was on the good old controllers, few nowadays come close.....and the ones that I find to be precise enough are from Nintendo. So I'm going to keep my eyes out for one of those.....great video.
So glad I decided to bite the bullet on this one, 60 bucks american plus shipping! I know this video was made aaaages ago, but thank you! I'll check to ensure it's a real one (i don't think the pirates care toooo much to make it seem real club nintendo-ee anyway. but really, thanks. I'm excited to rock Mario Maker and the older Mario games with this puppy.
Apparently one is now being sold by thinkgeek for $20, it doesn't have the Nintendo logo on it so it's apparently not official but otherwise it looks exactly the same. I'm not sure exactly how it feels though.
Thank you for the review, I do have 1 question: does that controller work on a Wii U? Either E-shop games for the wii u or going to the "wii section" and playing them from there.
Dave Linger ~~ Stupid question, but.... do you think this would work the same hooked up to a Mayflash Wireless USB Wii Controller Adapter? I have the Classic Pro working with it right now, and I use that to play emulators, and also Shovel Knight and Bastion. Do you think that the lack of joysticks would interfere with the Mayflash Adapter's ability to recognize the controller???? I'd want to be absolutely certain this would work with a Mayflash Adapter before I drop $58-80 on it... if you don't know what I mean by "Mayflash Adapter" RUclips search for "wii classic usb wireless."
I noticed you have the Homebrew Channel, and I assume you have an SNES emulator on there as well. Does this work well on the SNES emulator you use (if you use one)?
Hey brother!!!! Does this work on Homebrew? I had purchased an Interworks retro classic controller only to find out that it does not work in Homebrew. So I wasted my money and I do not want to make the same mistake twice. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
+Dave Linger ~ OMFG, YOU'RE HERE. Hey, could you test that fancy sleek brand new Superfamicom controller on a USB Mayflash Adapter running emulators on PC? If you aren't sure what I am talking about, go watch these. watch?v=5VjLI3rNkzk - wireless model. watch?v=BoSxGgby8t8 - older, corded model. I would go out on a limb and >assume< that since the Wiimote picks up the Controller just fine, and the Mayflash Adapter pretty much has the same plug slot, and mimics the Classic Controller + Wiimote input in HID, that the Superfamicom Wii Controller would also work... But I wanna be 100% certain about that before I go drop like, 70 bucks on getting one from Ebay.

Thanks I was kinda on the fence on whether I should get this or the classic controller pro.
I'm so jealy right now. That controller is amazing!!!

Yes, just like a normal classic controller.

I have the same question as Drummaniac17. Does this controller work on the homebrew snes emulator? (Snes8x GX)
No region coding? I've gotta import one of these soon.

hey dude any Idea if it would be possible to use this while the wii mote is paired with an android w emulator?
+Roy Munson Yes, as long as the emulator can properly register classic controller inputs.
+Dave Linger holy cow that was a quick response. thanks man! sub'd
