That sh was blue.
It was royal purple it looks very blue but it is purple Idk why I'm just the artist that knows it's a color.
People see color/shades differently. That's a really hard color to distinguish. But yeah to me it's purple > blue.

In my hometown there’s a house that was built in the 70’s that has a red roof and blue-green siding. It’s horrendous.
@Insomnia_Gaming since I posted this a couple bought it and have renovated!! It actually looks really nice now. They kept some of the original colors so it still kinda stands out, but not in a “burning your eyes” kind of way.

i'm gonna come to simsies defense. that first color IS a hot pink almost red. i've even eyedropped it and it is EVER SO SLIGHTLY on the purple side of red (hue goes 0-360, with 0 and 360 being fully red. this color is 356, barely closer to purple than pure red is). she's just got a real good eye for that nuance
It's a cool toned red, which still just makes it a red. The nuance isn't hard to see if you're somewhat familiar with colour theory. She also called petrol teal, so I wonder if it's a screen issue with overblown colours.

for pride this year you should do like a spin wheel for each room inspired by a different pride flag :3 it would be fun to see some more "obscure" ones
Imagine being friends with a kid and you walk in to their house to hangout but you have to go to the bathroom first and you walk in the entry way and it's okay, weird vibe but pretty piano. Then a dark academia vibe living room and you can see the shiny purple wood of the dining room, and you go upstairs to the VIBRANT pink hallway and your friend points to his door and says "okay this is my room that one's the bathroom." And you open the bathroom door and it's MINT! And you finish in the bathroom, very freaked out and walk into your friends very weird green room. I'd ruuunnn.

If you do it again, maybe try to find one window with a ton of color swatches, and match the windows to the color on the interior? I think it could make the outside look weird but kind of cute, particularly if you let yourself paint the outside white or black.

I thought of a nice twist to this color challenge.
Create a wheel using every color filter in the game, and you have to use all of those filters for the first room (or the exterior of the house.) But afterwards, you have to spin the wheel to decide which color will not be added to the next room, and you keep doing this until the final room.
I genuinely believe this would make for a horrendous build, but a hilarious video.

The colour challenge is a lot of fun doing. I was inspired by a house in my neighbourhood that was yellow with dark green trimmings. I made the outside as well as I could and I also went all out with yellow and green on the inside, and I actually love the result of it! I also found a lot of items in swatches I didn’t even realise existed before.

I think the tiny living tvs had to be on the walls and she already had that fireplace so it didn't fit. Personally I would've put the tv annoyingly off center to forever scorch the eyes of any who gazed upon such tragedy, but each to their own.
She was using the fireplace and u cant use the tiny living with the fireplace!

Next I think she should do a play through in this house. But the twist is you create a family of sims to coordinate for each bedroom. So basically who ever lives in the yellow bedroom has to be fully yellow (yellow skin, yellow hair, yellow clothing)
