I like the one with having to take things that decrease luck. I've seen some no-rare challenges, but since so many good synergy pieces are rare, having none of them takes a lot of strategy away; So still being able to take the guaranteed rares seems good. Only bad things I can see with that challenge is: 1) You are not guaranteed to ever see the one luck decreasing item, so it might end up being a non-challenge. 2) There are very few synergies for hex of tedium; And on top of that, you would probably need to ban the one that removes the effect. Don't know why I wrote such in-depth. Hope it doesn't sound like I'm trashing on your idea

The board has 20 tiles, 10 of them are edge tiles, 6 are center tiles, four are corner tiles. knowing this, you can calculate the probability of two symbols being adjacent using a proabability tree (presented as a bullet list): - Symbol 1 position - middle (3/10) - adjacent to symbol 2 (8/19) - edge (1/2) - adjacent to symbol 2 (5/14) - corner (1/5) - adjacent to symbol 2 (3/16) 3/10 * 8/19 = 12.63% 1/2 * 5/14 = 17.85% 1/5 * 3/16 = 0.03% 12.63 + 17.85 + 0.03 = 30.51%

You inspired me to try this challenge only without using the letter A instead. After many attempts I finally managed to beat floor 9 with an army of cultists. Also I got rid of the starting cat and pearl as soon as possible.
I can't believe he passed up so many pufferfish and jellyfish. They could have buffed the diver and they were 2 pers so they wouldn't have been as detrimental
