He always goes for consistency in almost every game which makes him struggle a lot. The items he gets aren't even helping him that much compared to other items that provide multipliers. On the topic of suits, he even got the card shark, which is insane for suits build, but alas, for Tyler, consistency is king.

There's a lot of fine print effects that are about specific symbols/items or symbol/item groups, so that's part of why most of the time they can't target your build. The ones that target groups do try their best to choose a relevant symbol/item, though. The landlord can't add the same fineprint twice, even if it's one that could target different symbols each time. On floor 20, 3 fine print are added for every 150 damage you deal to the boss. The first 7 fine print effects the game has in its code go unused. N°4 has the landlord add a dud (strange - I swear he used to do that. Maybe I missed something in the logic). The other 6 have him remove a random symbol (or item?) from your build. 6 identical fineprints, so it can trigger up to 6 times... Sounds brutal. Also, this game's code is a hot mess :)

i think the health on the landlord should be higher it seems quite unlikely you cant beat him if you make the 1000. in addition it gives more time for his hits to drain you and lets him debuff you more
A bit of healing when you pay rent would probably be better. 50 or 60% of the rent payment seems like a fair amount. Low enough to make any damage you did stick and give you a chance when your build has been hit hard but high enough that you have to worry about beating him before the 1500 rent payment if you can't afford it.
Okay, but if every single fine print directly targets your build, how are you supposed to win this boss battle, when everything you have is the build and the synergies? I feel like it would kinda defeat the point of the entire game, since your goal is to find cool synergies that make for a consistent income. And then you come to the boss fight and they're all just slowly destroyed? 🤔 And you can't just get a completely different build going in such a short amount of time. So I don't know what kind of skill you'd need to show to win this kinda boss battle 🤷
i mean, mainly you'd need to have multiple synergies in your build but also it might instead mean your build just needs a high enough output that it beats the landlord even with fine print (you cant do it before the fine print gets added unless you OTK, since the fine print is based on how much health the landlord has lost) personally, id like it to be where a fine print that can't target your build gets rerolled once or twice, meaning useless fine print can come up but is less likely
Why does't tyler disable items when it's possible? Just right click the item to disable/enable them. I've seen so many wasted moments where he can disable shedding season, wait for perfect protracter moment, or disable lucky cat to get common items.
