7 billion is crazy tho
Love this for the Westside
a decade of construction is on the way
They are planning for it to take a decade so expect it to take 2
Can y’all put a winning team on the court first?
both bulls and blackhawks are prb gonna be under .400 😂😂😂
This is about Chicago winning, not the Bulls.
😂😂😂😂😂
Lmao
Blackhawks got bright future more than the bulls
As a Bulls and Blackhawks fan, I'm all for it, especially with the West Side. I'm also all in for the White Sox stadium near the South Loop. It would be so awesome
Perfect spot for another 40-42 season
Lol
This came out of nowhere. I wonder if Jerry felt FOMO with all of the Bears stadium mockups.
I feel like that would line up with the timeline. This would takes months to plan and the bears released theirs months ago
This is private money, unlike The Bears plan.
I went to a bulls game in fall of 2008 and our car tires got slashed. Got to see Rookie D Rose and Lebron though.
It's great to see all of this public green space. Right sizing parking is the appropriate move to incentivize everyone to use other options. Plus, mostly private funding (with some TIF) is the right way to get this project going.
More things close to where I live 🔥
Chicago Bulls Needs To Play On 1996 1997 Hardwood Court
What about the arena? It’s rated one of the worst exterior looking arenas in the nba? But yes let’s remodel AROUND it. Seems smart
2024 United Center, the House Jordan Build.
How about a winning team for less than $7Billion?
Bruh nobody’s gonna want to chill in this development like you think they are. You are forgetting that’s the west side 💀
Wow Bot city over here
Great idea 👍. Community first. Bulls will still sell out even with average players 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Is that why we have so many guards?
This Looks Nice
Sell the team first Jerry
This is great
I like it
Actually cool if this happens
So how much parking would be available after all of this? I'm getting the impression they aren't really concerned about parking here.
Imagine if they put that much money into a winning team on the court and the ice
More bread and circus yipeeee!
I want Chicago Sky will play At United Center in 2025 Chicago Bulls Stadium
It is already very nice over that way. 7 billion?
Privately funded
@@static6787 good to know
Wtf yall can build this shit but saying no the new bears stadium 😢
Cool but yall still make me depressed
Why don’t they spend the money on free agent??? They’ll spend money on infrastructure who cares!! build a championship team for that kind of money!!! Take care of the fanbase!
Well Bulls are over the salary cap so most they couldve offered was the MLE. They're rebuilding which is the right direction because the team was mediocre and aging.
Can you invest into a winning championship team instead?
What about the parking then?
F*ck the parking. Drivers get too many subsidies.
So you're telling me I can no longer drive to the stadium? Welcome to Wrigley.
Good
Yet Wrigley holds over 40,000 people, almost double the UC, and they make it work
Uhhh why not take public transit to either stadium? Wrigley Field is right next to The Addison Red Line and they're building a station on Lake and Damon on The Green Line so you have no reason to not take public transit to games. Especially if this is built I can guarantee that The CTA will want a piece of this and rebuild The Madison Station on The Pink Line (which is what they should've done in the first place).
@@briansivley2001 when you don't live near these things public transportation isn't an option. Imagine driving an hour and a half to find out you gotta pay someone $100 to park in their driveway or garage. I'm not ok with that but it is what it is.
No face-lift for the UC? It already looks like it was buit in 70's Berlin!
So, there are fewer parking spots, great
less parking... greeeeeaaaaatttt
they're forcing people to take CTA as if majority of fans (who could afford tickets) don't live in the suburbs lol
All this around a 30 year old stadium? I guess they plan on rehabbing one day, not tearing down...
That's crazy. I remember when the area around the united center / Chicago Stadium was the projects (Henry Horner) aka "The Hornets"... now they got $7M to throw around. 🤔
*7 Billion
@Tkkirklandofficial Thats even worse! #WhoRaisedYou?
@@familyguy5921 Where in your brain did you get that I approve of them throwing away 7 billion you didn’t think maybe I was correcting you and letting you know it’s 7 billion which is worse #whoraisedyou? Don’t jump to conclusions goofy
It's all about the money
Wrigleyville West?
I’ll be stacking my money
It should obviously have an outdoor basketball court
The 🐻 should just play there too
No need the stadium we have is fine
So they can’t go into the tax to make a good bulls team that brings championships but they do this? Ya most Chicago bulls thing I’ve seen
So what are we doing about Zach??
So nowhere to park for fans that live outside the range of public transit.
Cry me a river. Watch it on TV if you can't drive to a station outside the city
@@versedbridge4007 Don't complain then when the seats are empty. Most fans come from far out in the burbs lol.
What about the united center yall need better seats
This was the only way to sneak in a UC renovation...and pay less for it. The UC is almost 30 years old
Where does 7,000 million come from
Bulls and Blackhawks
That’s why we pay taxes for so stupid
Where are you going to park?
CTA. Does Madison square garden have parking lots around it?
I am happy that the improvements for the bulls and the black hawlks but the question is the City of Chicago needs to invest on a brand new Mayor that cares about the city
🤐🍔
Looks nice, but this ain't around Soldier Field or Wrigley. Hmm? 🤔
I’d rather have a winning team before all this
So….. no more parking ???
Good riddance, take the CTA. Does Madison square garden have parking lots around it? People get to those NBA games in New York without parking lots.
Incorrect. Parking garages.
@@DailyRants89 It would have to have multiple exits. One way in and one way out is gonna have HORRID traffic.
Sell the team Jerry!!!!
And who is paying for all of this ????😡🤨🤨🤨🤨
The Bulls and Blackhawks owners
Wirtz and (shockingly) Reinsdorf
And let me guess you want us tax payers to fund it……..
It’s private money so no.
Privately funded. The press release and press conference shared that it’s privately funded.
@@commonsense3921 good then I approve!
Now I see why yall are short changing us Fans!!😡 Clearly the focus is not on the Team.
Cool now raise the price of the game to watch a mid team. Jew tactics
Where are people supposed to park? Duh 🙄 Where are the ramps?
Hope Jerry doesn’t get a dime of public funding. We’ve been mid cuz he’s so cheap
It's supposed to be privately funded from both Wirtz and Reinsdorf. All $7 billion of it.
More likely, Wirtz will cover most of it
Please just do parking better!
Take public transportation, New York has no parking lots around both its NBA arenas. You don’t need them. Waste of space that sits empty when nothing is going on when development can be there being used by people.
Bulls suck balls, and this is the focus? Get real!
Like the proposed lakefront stadium this proposal leaves everybody no place to park. Just saying.
Don’t care win games first
