Fun fact, if you pick up a boulder in the next area and then rage, you'll wear it as a hat. Another fun fact, the last fun fact was a dubious ruse meant to bamboozle you and lower your guard. You are now surrounded by 32 chimpanzees. 14 of which are armed and at least 27 are dazed out of their mind on psychedelics. You cannot escape.
Yes, you read that correctly, at least 9 of them are both lethally armed and unimaginabley high on the forbidden shrooms

Unbelievable: the collaboration of 2 content creators i didn't know i needed in life. Both of you helped me pass the threshold of starting my first campaign as a DM and now i get to rejoice in the absolute chaos of you two playing Baldur's Gate!? Heck yeah!

This is the first game in a VERY long time where i am happy to pay for dlc and content to add stuff like story and more lecels,races,classes,etc. As a DM, i salute Larian Studios
I figured it stopped at 12 because that's about when the average dnd player stops showing up to sessions
Kinda cool that shortly after i started playing bg3 i found your shorts, then i just started watching this, we both ran barb dragon born. It gets crazy, i have almost 1,000lb carry limit, and i been out of thieving tools so i just been picking up and carrying locked chests with me. So far ive got 8 in my inventory lol
I think the bigger issue is that people forget how powerful being level 12 actually is. There's probably only.. at most a few hundred beings in the whole material plane that are levelr 12 or higher. You can solo small armies at that point if your set up for it. You are officially a Big Deal at that point. Especially a full party of 4.

Shadarkai elf are the most punkrock/ emo race in dnd 5e.😂😂
The issue with "strength decides how far you can throw/shove someone" is the 5 ft grid system. You are locked into 5 ft increments but your strength scales by units that don't make sense to increase by 5 ft every point/modifier.
Ill be honest here, im rewatching this to count how many tines he blinks...

I would love to see it go to level 20 eventually, but yeah it would be extremely difficult to balance a level 20 campaign in a videogame variant of a tabletop/paper-based game that can have improvised rules as needed on the fly.

Higher levels never. Because after lvl 12. you unlock 7th level spells that can change the world. e.g. travel through time and space. Power System in Dnd scales exponentially.
Actually they are considering going to level 20.
The issue I have is that I am level 12 but still have quests to finish... I feel kinda crapped on for still having stuff to do 80 hours in
Hey man I really like your stuff. I'm not really a tech savvy person, I was just wanting to know where I could catch your live-streams. I love dnd. But I've never played a real session. Had a bad experience with some people who were not really my friends. So I would like to be a part of the game in any small way I can, even if it's just watching
It does? That’s a massive sadness.
I mean, I get the reality altering spells, the silly dynamics of summoning a horde of creatures and how much you can do in the base game but; you could’ve just made it so you don’t FIND those spells that break the game.
Let me introduce you to Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and their 10th lvl spells.
Respectfully disagree. I can leave without higher levels I’m simply curious about it. I didn’t touch those levels in video games since nwn2. Nevertheless argumentation is incorrect. There are no more levels because it takes lots of time and resources to be implemented, end of the line. Balance is nonsense, especially in 5e, especially in bg3 when we can teleport things from inventory, store crates, drink potions with toes when someone throws it on the ground… and, for god sake, adamantine items in the first act, at level 4-5? Do not confuse people, its all about whether game will be released in 2023 or 2025-26
I mean... Solasta let's you get to level 16. Obviously they don't give you stuff like plane shift but they managed just fine with limiting the spell selection and tweaking some of the spells.
I am so torn like i waaaaaant to see those levels going up again in dlcs or just patches buuuut then we get into these exact issues and the idea scare me cuz i wanna see alot to stuff addef to the game over the coming years cuz damn i love it!

Not unless mods add it in at a earlier level. Maybe a feat just for dragonborn?
The voice options are sad even half orcs sound like normal people
Could be that they add it in later? I mean, the game just came out of eairly access which means it went from v0.something to v1.0 Newer games are on v3 or even v5 meaning that they have that much more content. Due to how new the game is, im sure there is bound to be some more added in later

Eh, it's not, but it's also a lot of extra stuff that I could imagine people might not vibe with on first playthrough. The fact that there's unavoidable murders was a massive turn-off for a lot of friends.
I'm not sure. Baldurs gate 1 only went to like 12 with the expansion I think? I'm pretty sure 2 went to 20 though! Maybe they're doing the same here?

I get why they did it but its super disappointing because they said they wont be doing DLC, so we just have to wait for modders if we ever want to experience past level 12, where alot of cool class abilities are locked behind
Also anyone saying you will become to powerful should try min maxing, i managed to do 60 damage in a hit at level 5, its not hard to become op

Ooh bruh you gotta play dark souls, you should do a blind run where tou dont look anything up and only get help when you really need help and chat will help you but tell people to only help when asked maybe have mods regulate
