@catsi563 I dare say, this has been the best DnD game in...modern Era. Best game in a long time. I just realized you can own the game and play it offline. Making it 1000% better than anything currently. A massive studio game, with almost infinite styles of play, able to be played offline in a airport terminal. The best.
That was my first and best character. A middle aged balding dwarf with too many kids so he can't get enough sleep and is triggered by the smallest things plus wants to eradicate all greenskins from the face of the earth
Ima say this since probably anyone whos seen these videos know that no matter how many barrels you collect because the zones are split between doors (that lead to another zone) you theoretically cant set off a chain reaction to the entirity of the goblin camp. HOWWEVER what i think is more impressive is how they collected all the barrels in act 1. Just to set up 3 different saves possibly up to 5 different saves just to set off a chain reaction in all rooms of the goblin forest both inside and outside of the camp itself. Also if they grabbed all the barrels from the deep dark castle zone. And then piece the explosion together in each save to continue off the last one. Because we see the halflings in multiple different areas getting blown up in previous shots. Just to show up in the next one. A piece of film making masterpiece that uses both fame knowledge and the knowledge that the casual player wouldnt know of to create an illusion of possibility. Bravo.
My guess is that the spectacle at the end is actually several saves with each a room filled with barrels, made to explode and then stitched together to make it seem like it was all one big explosion. The amount of barrels is just... Still, it's a protected world heritage monument now. As grandiose as it is horrifying.

@@Qoozord So because it only showcases one of the races, you think it isn't good enough to be used as marketing? Did you not consider that they could make vids like this for the other races? Such as monk gnome's beating the shit out of peoples shins.
A lot of actors with dwarfism have been upset with the lack of roles in Hollywood because of this fear to offend. Imagine if Larian hired a bunch of them to do some live action skits interspersed with this gameplay footage. That would be so epic.
@@Qoozord and here we are having larian reposting the tweet with the barrels video
Aaand they did! :D
That finale was, for lack of a better word, MAGNIFICENT!
PLEASE CONTINUE THIS. This is so amazing. So creative. So hilarious and ridiculous!
Dear Mother of Everything that is Holy, Unholy and Barbaric
He actually did it
Bravo, you glorious man
He did what?
@@naturalflow6943he did the cat
I honestly have to say, I love the fact they all get put into a rage when the child is killed. They couldn't save her but damn did the avenge her!
Then proceeded to kill all the tieflings 😂😂
nah they are mad because the druid kill steal them

The fact that no matter what you do the halflings are still adorable is the best part of this whole fiasco. They're just so...pleasant looking.
They look like those old folk you find around at your local area, willing to give you stories of what they did when they were young and spry.
@@csmrookie9600if an old person tells a story like any five second clip from this video I will go around the corner and run as fast as I can
To me they look like dirty old men working in the garage and glaring at anyone trying to come close to their property with large trespassers will be shot .... err blown up by barrels. Signs on their fences. Maybe a shotgun in arms reach.
@@TheNinja94aNah, I would attempt to become one of their apprentices and learn the way of the past.
I want to see more of this campaign out of the sheer curiosity of how anyone treats your characters going forward.
Of how who treats the characters?
These halflings are the most murder-hobo-y murder-hobo's I've ever seen
There's no one left to treat them in any particular way lmao
@@DamienTB Yeah lol, as far as I'm concerned these murder hobo halflings are a far greater threat than The Absolute 🤣
I also placed some non suspicious barrels in the goblin camp, but now i see i was lacking ambition. that ending was glorious.
The fact that they all look like that Napoleon complex middle management bully type found in every organization is just perfect.
Now he wasn’t that short. 😂
The main one looks like Alberto Fernández.
Hilarious! And what a huge final scene !!! Tchaikovsky would have appreciated your work. It's going to become legendary, I feel it. Thank you so much for the entertain, and thank you to Larian Studio for all the joy they give.
I laughed waaaaaay too much at this. This is some top tier content. That finale! Wow. Well done fellas.
And me thinking pre positioning barrels all over the Druid Groove entrance to deal with the goblin invasion in a turn was wild. This guys ended a whole quest line 😂😂
holy shit you just made me realize the best way to deal with the invasion
@@TrueSupergreenthey litterally explains the plan to you and provide u with the barrel 😂
I just dealt with them room by room, making sure to sneak attack any that roam around. I saved the Hobgoblin for last, but I even placed an explosion barrel by him. Had to reset after he fell in the bottomless pit of death because I'm a fucking Loot Goblin.
@@Feraligatrfjhgujvgh I just kept up in the rafters raining hell and pushes on everyone 😂 was surprised when I went to go find halsin he was already home cos I'd murdered everyone
@@CeePritch That was part 2 of my strategy, sadly they ended up in the rafter's with me, and my Barbarian fell to the ground.
From beginning to the finale. This is a masterpiece
And what a finale it was!
@@shadowcat1606 the only word to describe it is explosive
Everything is a "masterpiece" these days
This is just as chaotic as a recent DnD session I had, which was to simply break into a heroes tomb, so the grave cleric can resurrect the heroes' corpse to be our loyal minion. The final result was we got caught breaking into the Heroes tomb and which led the party to "accidentally" behead the gravekeeper as every attempt to persuade him failed, and every attempt to subdue him failed, the guard he was about to report to rolls a nat 1 perception check and now we're stuck with a peasant grave keeper zombie instead of a hero zombie corpse 😂
Love the video. I need to find a group of mates to dothe same shenanigans
This game is gold... I'm so happy with the voice acting, and the facial expressions of all the characters and just how well animated everything seems to be.
Wait until you see how shit the ending is
@@Faeron1984 Which one? Game has multiple endings.
@justinneuroth1371 theoretically yes. Sadly due to cut content and bugs the "17,000 endings" are actually more like 1 with about 5 slight variations. Now that a lot of people are getting to act 3 and the ending people are starting to realize it's another Larian classic of them having an amazing first 70% of the game then dropping the ball at the end
@@StarguardianbardI've completed multiple playthroughs, going for very distinct endings each time, so even tho I'd like it if there was more slides or cutscenes to expand on them a bit more, there's still a lot of variety there
@@Faeron1984you're silly
Good to see barrelmancer is still alive and well in everyone's heart.
This is flawless content
5:55 - The moment I first saw this was the time, I realised that is the only true way to clear goblin camp. Since then I collect every single barrel for this glorious moment.
That was the most beaitiful example of barrelmancy I've ever seen, brings a tear to my eye 😢
As you watched the barrels being placed throughout the goblin camp, how many of you said out loud, "Oh, My, God...." And then laughed out loud as the barrel explosions spread across the camp. Perfect choice of music for that scene!
100% ''Oh My God....!''' with a huge dawning smile. That was incredible 😂
As you watch the barrels being placed throughout the goblin camp, one word echoes in your mind: Artistic authority.
@@egementanik2170 I read this in the narrator's voice
i was just watching with ever increasing "oh no" in my head
Gotta love that the game let's you play as the most heroic of heroes, or the most awful person the realm has ever seen.
Just remembered this run and had to come back and watch through it again. Still the funniest BG3 content I've ever seen. Taichovsky's overture at the end was a chef's kiss choice too.
You could have very easily made this one of those 15 minute videos where some dude talks through the meme and overly explains his playthrough the whole time but no, instead you created a masterpiece. Well done.
This is an absolue masterpiece and I say that as a DM with 27 years of experience.
As one with that many and more I concur with my fellow veteran gms opinion this is epic comedy gold
@catsi563 I dare say, this has been the best DnD game in...modern Era. Best game in a long time. I just realized you can own the game and play it offline. Making it 1000% better than anything currently. A massive studio game, with almost infinite styles of play, able to be played offline in a airport terminal. The best.
That ending is pure poetry
Imagine if they attempt to do that in the entirety of the city of Baldur's Gate it would be pure chaos although I doubt they will find enough barrels
Wow this is a true masterpiece. The old man aesthetics, the music, the edits. No bg3 video has made me laugh this hard 😂 👏
this is exactly the type of BG3 content i want to see, love how this game just lets you do whatever you want
I will never look at halflings the same way, truly cuttthroat and brilliant.
These are not DnD halflings, these guys are DCC halflings!
Darksun halflings would be proud.
I suddenly have a very strong temptation to play a barbarian that specializes in throwing people.
That was my first and best character. A middle aged balding dwarf with too many kids so he can't get enough sleep and is triggered by the smallest things plus wants to eradicate all greenskins from the face of the earth
actually a super legit build, tavern brawler feat at level 4 for hella damage on throwing shit.
@@guyguy7002 I gave that feat to Karlach for my main run. Hilarious watching her toss shit around for big damage.
Bravo.
What a masterpiece. *In Astarion's voice* "Bravo. Bravo ! Just don't kill *me* ... I beg of you."
Beautiful, just beautiful, a complete and staggering work of art.
This was brilliant.
I didn't want to end.
So ridiculous
I haven't laughed this much in a while. Single handedly the best edit and idea for a squad i've seen.
My guess is that the spectacle at the end is actually several saves with each a room filled with barrels, made to explode and then stitched together to make it seem like it was all one big explosion. The amount of barrels is just...
Still, it's a protected world heritage monument now. As grandiose as it is horrifying.
Ahhh, good old Tchaikosvky's "ode to blowin' shit up!", otherwise known as 1812 Overture. No doubt he'd ever expect his work to be associated in such a manner. 🤣
Music choices were perfect, and editing was fantastic! Hope to see more of Angry, Grumpy, Furious and Peeved.
Not expected, but appreciated, I'm sure.
My god this might just be one of the best gaming videos I've ever seen. Bravo.
Lmao this absolutely carries the energy of a D&D game where the players decide to pick a character theme.
That and the absolutely fantastic Darkest Dungeon meme party makeup videos.
This is the best game related video in or out of BG3 I've seen in a long time. Great work!
The satisfaction on his face while watching that goblin eat shit is absolute gold!
Whole video is a masterpiece. Bravo!
Oh boy, are we about to see a new series of videos with BG3? This is gonna be so much fun!
nothing I see could top the glorious ending I witnessed here
I almost choked on my own laughter... this was... a masterpiece.
Jeez this should have been titled 7 minute ab workout to nerdy comedy gold. I lost it like 6 seconds in and didn't stop laughing until after the end. A work of art, thank you.
'Open the bloody gates!' 'Nope!' gets me every time.
Even the younglings, Okoii? For shame! *EDIT:* Wow kudos to the programmers for allowing the game engine to take a little stress without falling over. That opens up the space for so much fun!
They had to, because of BIBBERBANG!
@@Maciok2000 Rip my frames
It can handle it without crashing, but it will severely drop your performance if you're not on an amazing rig.
Performance is quite solid in Act 1 though, so even some of the crazier stuff I did wasn't too bad on the frame rate. But the barrell explosions definitely can tank it 😅
I must admit, this is one of the greatest gameplay video of any game i ever saw!!!
i love how dror gets out of his seat for like half a second at 6:32 just to probably think: well, shit

I'm guessing you had to reload saves a lot to get all those different camera angles at the end. This looks like it took lots of (probably very fun) work. Great job to you and your fellow halflings! You guys really gave a good demo of how much fun there is to be found in this game with this video.
The ending is pure magic. It left Mystra in sheer awe.
