you can also pickpocket her for another runepowder vial- also dont forget act3 the deep gnome hidey hole- 2 rune powder barrels are there and the giant bomb on wils table.
You might be able to do this in single player too. Send your conversationalist, probably Tav or Durge, up to talk and click over to someone else before the convo triggers, then sneak around with someone and grab the barrel before switching back and finishing the convo

I haven’t gotten this far into the game yet, but Im not far in my couch co-op run. So I know he can occasionally bring you shit like a potion or food item back to the camp! Super cute cutscene.
I think the trigger is to frequently pet him or pet him certain amount of times
@@Tayl0r_ He is absolutely useful. He brings you stuff in camp and if you summon him outside of camp he shows you spots where to dig.
@@leviHeichou I thought he could track stuff! But I haven’t tried in either my couch co-op run nor my balanced single player + party run, so I wasn’t too confident about saying it honestly lol.
I've left or killed him every run. I don't want an annoying dog barking in my camp. Ugly ass too😂

@@isosev My paladin is a pragmatist, and loves dogs more than worrying about some dumb book in the middle of all that's going on. Heck, Gale is gonna explode in a giant ball of energy anyway, let him do what he wants, the forbidden knowledge is gonna be vaporised along with him. Me and Scratch will be far, far away, catching some rays ☀️ from the mushroom cloud and throwing the ball. Good times.

I love how this party breaks all the nerdy laws of what your party should be and becomes an unstoppable powerhouse in the process. Love their tag-team moves.
"Let's see... in order to balance your party composition, you'll probably need a frontline attacker, so that can be a Barbarian. Then you'll want somebody who can tank a lot of damage and draw a lot of aggro, so a Barbarian might be good for that. You should also get a sneaky scout, so.... Barbarian, and a caster to support you with spells, so make that... a Barbarian!

it's all pre-setup and lots of reloading. you really think it would work without savescumming and meta-knowledge of the game? you would get floors wiped with your corpses.

I was amazed when I managed to do the same thing by stealing it in gaseous form. The dialogue was hilarious.

When the Dark Urge thinks you crossed the line
I love how despite having 5 intelligence, the barbarian squad seem to be both very effective tacticians, but also very skillful combatants. They neutralize enemies in the most efficient and yet humorous manner available to them. They utilize stealth tactics, and attack as a cohesive unit.
Cooperation is simple when your whole group shares one braincell
They have 8 intelligence. The masks dulled their wits.
Savant idiots, specialized in killing.

Same I missed that as well, had no idea they had a use. If your in a heavy melle party that stay close together those would be powerful. Heck they were only level 5 and had 21 str. I also never knew thrown weapons were that strong. They killed a lot of things quickly with them.
@@Arthillis Throwing weapons are strong for them probably because they all took tavern brawler. Plus Barbs can throw as a bonus action so you get more attacks in a round.

@@JPXtorsion Tavern Brawler in general is busted. My Open Hand strength Monk by themselves can burst down Raphael in anywhere between 1-4 turns.

The halfling barbs decide to make Alyin actually useful by throwing her at Ketheric as their main weapon. Because she sure as hell isn't going to be doing any damage otherwise.
I absolutely love the slight pause when deciding to end the gnome just for one of the bois to suggest the option.
If you're doing a full barbarian run, maybe it would be wise to give each of your characters a Sussur flower to silence all enemies since you won't be using magic anyways.

@@mitchell562 They work just fine from inside your chest at camp for the entire game, but I've never had a reason to ever take them out
@@mitchell562i believe if you place the bloom in a pouch or backpack it will not wilt. I could be mistaken, because I have only kept one at camp to give to Balthazar for fun

She burned in my ending :( Dammon for some reason got scared of my pet zobie at the time and ran into the darkness and turned to a monster. She burned on the shore after I had to kill myself (was a mindflayer at that point)

I love the fact that not only are they all barbarian but they be berserkers as well. Brings me back to bloodbowl berserker where the goal isn’t to win but to beat the ever living shit out of your opponent so they couldn’t keep playing in the season
The best thing about BG3 is how VASTLY different playthough's can be. But this is easily the best one :P

4 Halfing Barbarians has to be my favorite playthrough of bg3 i've seen yet. can't wait for the trilogy to be completed
This was worth the wait! The webcomic 8-Bit Theater had a gag where one character is reading a Nintendo Power magazine article and says "4 white mages? It'll never work!" I've always found the idea of 4x of the same class in a 4-player game to be very funny, and these shenanigans tickle me. I eagerly (but patiently) await a part 3, along with everyone else I'm sure. :)

The sequel we knew we needed but didn't know we'd get.
I see they discovered the raw power of the Strength stat, specifically as it pertains to the Throw action. When you throw something, it deals its damage plus momentum damage, so if you simply drop a javelin onto someones head itll do far far more damage than if you stab someone with it. H aving 4 characters that all specialize in throwing weapons at enemies, with extra attack, is unbelievably powerful.
Chaotic, simple, and with the bros vibe now this is really a run i want to see up until the finale of the game.
I really hope we get a full play through of this, it’s too good

Tavern brawler is busted
There exist a barbarian build solely dedicated to throwing weapons : search for thowmancer Karlach. to make it even more busted, I believe there is a Pyke early in the game tailored for this ( it has a Homing Weapon, so it comes back to the character after thrown )
