- I'm going to try to beat Baldur's Gate 3 on Tactician Difficulty using the Salami club as my only weapon and source of damage.

The Salami club does 1d4 bludgeoning damage, so I'll need to find ways to boost my damage output significantly if I want a chance of clearing the game. I've also added an additional challenge that'll force me to improvise and use different strategies throughout the playthrough.

I’m doing an experiment which is why I left ~70 comments before posting this video… If you’re watching with your phone, check out the Timed Comment section! No idea if people will like seeing little notes while they watch, but thought I’d give it a try!
Hey! It's cool and all but, speaking for myself, I use landscape mode when watching videos on youtube abd the timed comments don't pop up.
@@burritoinspace. you can still use it, there’s a button to open the comment section. But the video is so small, it probably makes for a bad viewing experience 😅

Fracture have you though about beating BG3 as Abserd ( one lv in each class ) could be an interesting challenge.

Sometimes I have nightmares where I am unsure if you can beat baldurs gate with a salami. But I can rest easy knowing finally, someone is solving the cutting edge of science

Making him a paladin is hilarious to me for some reason
but shadow heart doesn't nessesarily disapprove evil. she is one of the few character that you can play evil with alongside astarion, minthara, and to some extent leazel.
massive stretch to say you can play her evil, sure her goddess is evil but almost nothing evil you can do is approved of with her
@@turtlecat465 well she like avoiding conflict and she care about children, so as long as the evil is not just murder hobo evil she is fine with it. She might not be actually ok with it but her teaching tell her otherwise.

I feel like Gale can be morally gray as well, especially considering his (maybe spoiler?) desire for power
@@Peytoneileen well he never really turn bad, i think that is a bit of a stretch. Just a tiny one. The only one he opposing by that is mystra and only because he feel like he can do better.

That forge hammer is definitely using some sort of piston. I'd say gravity is only things that use fall damage in its calculation, like throwing, pushing, and that monk skill that uses fall damage to decide our extra damage.

You can make the Nere / Duergar fight much easier by talking with Elder Brithvar and cutting a deal with him beforehand. You can convince him and his buddies to mutiny against Nere for a share of his gold. When you confront Nere, Brithvar rebels and you can choose to join the mutiny or turn on Brithvar. Either way you will only be fighting half the Duergar during the fight.
Soon we're going to see speedruns of being able to find Salami.
Knowing speedrunners, they'll probably also make it so that you have to slap someone with it before the run counts, and it'll be called "Public indecency%" or something

I dont know about the goblins but in the monastery before the githyanki creche you can pick up winebarrels with kobolds inside , and they stay inside them until you break them , so you can keep a little kobold pet for other fights

My favorite prep for the Nere fight is to have a bard playing songs by the lava ledge and just pushing everyone in while their backs are turned. You basically don't have to fight anyone in that room.

Awesome video. Looking forward to the next part. You create some of the best BG3 challenge run content on the platform.
A few bad ideas for the wheel of disadvantage.
• Sleeping In -> Send one party member of your choice to camp so you have to fight the battle without them.
• Mimic's Revenge -> Each character can only use one Salami in the fight. This means no duel wielding, or reequipping new ones from the inventory. If thrown the same one must be picked up.
• Half Full -> Each turn all character must only use either main actions or bonus actions but not both. The type of action chosen can be switched at the start of a round.
Ooh these are cool wheel ideas, I like them a lot! Great names too, I love that you turned the mimic battle into lore for the wheel.
I’m thinking that I should make a second wheel for act 2 with ideas from the comment section!
@ry2950 I actually do sleeping in whenever I'm evil and im with my good paladin, she sits out the fight while i slaughter everything.

I think what would be a fun addition to the challenge is to hold a "celebration feast" - which means after you won the fight you are currently in, you have to eat one of the salamis.

Finally I'm done with BG3, time to binge all of your videos I had on watch later till now. Also the forge without the hammer is quite difficult, respect for beating Grym. Love the wheel of disadvantage, not sure how challenging or easy it would be but adding "Time out" to the wheel, to just have one random party member skip all their turns until the 3 others are dead or the fight is over might be an idea
This whole concept of using salami as a weapon in BG3 reminds me of another BG3 video where a guy makes a bunch of frenzy barbarians with ring of flinging and tavern brawler and only throws potatoes at enemies.

Missed opportunity to have a barbarian named Coldcuts the Salamarian.
Love the video! Some ideas for the spicy wheel. No melee attacks or no ranged attacks. No healing (spells or consumables, but can use other spells and consumables that don't heal). No splitting the party - at the end of every round of combat all of your party members must be within 10ft of each other, or vice versa, split the party, at the end of every round no member of your party can be within 10ft of each other. Speed action - If you move on your turn, you must use the dash action. To do damage you have to stay in place. Sleep - One of your party members has "fallen asleep" and will not wake up until end of combat. They may disengage or dash to "sleepwalk" away from combat but must otherwise take no actions or bonus actions. You could also rename that to them being cowardly and running away if you don't like the sleep analogy.
Salami content is the best content. Loved your DOS2 videos and this is just IQ200
