Great video. Music can be distracting in some videos but I like your choice of music. Have you considered making a coffee house music video. Also, your comments about each item are helpful. I ordered my Bianca V3 today. I'm looking forward to using it.

For the 25mins to be ready, I guess it is 1st time turning it on, how about the afterwards turning on waiting time? Not sure you can let us know about the waiting time...
As I also feel want to upgrade, but currently heat exchange machine can be ready in just less than a minute.

    Hi men,
Love to see the unboxing, Hi, is there a special reason why Lelit was chosen? (Rocket/ECM/Profitec).
I am currently looking for a new machine but it is difficult to make a choice,
    Best regards, Tom

Hello, I used Simonelli Oscar II before Bianca, while Rocket is good, but I find upgrading from Oscar to Rocket Appr doesn't give me a big jump.
As for ECM and Profitec, I did consider them, but my current place doesn't have a supplier for the machine, and am worried about the maintenance when needed.
I was looking at ways to experiment more on espresso and related menu (latte, capp, etc) , that's when Bianca paddle comes in, and so far, have tried a few shots with beans that I've used regularly before, and have found enhanced flavor with the use of the paddle. Another plus point that can increase my experiment variability is the LLC, with lots of featured that I haven't even tried yet. What machine are you currently using ? :)

@@astrochan1212 Hello, Thank you for your response. Currently I still have a Jura 😉.
I want to make the step to a ful espresso machine and also invest in it.
I also followed a few workshops to see if it suits me, and it's great!
Only the choice of machine…. ECM Synchronika, Profitec 700, Rocket R58, Lelit Bianca V3 or the Bazzera DUO… do you have any other suggestions? As coffee grinder I have the Eureka Helios 65 black, Greets Tom

@@tomdieteren650 Ah I see, can't say much about other espresso machine as well your grinder because I haven't used them.
As from experience, without looking at the brand, try to look for E61 Group head machine as they provide more stable temperature in extracting espresso, non-E61 Group head that I see have a stable temperature is the LM Linea Mini, though the price in my place is quite high, and doesn't have a lot of features.
From my standpoint as 1 month owner of Lelit Bianca V3, it's an amazing machine, with lots of feature yet to be explored.
Will explore more of the feature and posted them in hope to help you and others who seek to purchase this machine! :)

@@tomdieteren650 My best advice is to find a shop or seller or owner of the espresso machines you are considering and then ask if you can pull some shots from them and taste the espresso. Also, while E61 group head are standard the actual layouts are bit different in each brands. I got to see a friend's Rocket E61 and saw that the E61 group head was quite low in location. This did not leave enough room to place a scale and a latte cup very easily each time making coffee. I also got to see a Lilit Bianca and noticed that the E61 group head allowed more room below to put a scale and a tall cup very easily without much effort. Additionally, there are two major types of basket designs (1) IMS style with a slight narrowing at the bottom and (2) VST style basket which had a straight wall design. I hear that the IMS style basket allows for a slightly better extraction. These are super detailed design differences that someone else already researched and I got to see the video and actually compared/confirmed in person.

@@astrochan1212 I had to recalibrate my Lagom p64 but finally got back up and running. I pulled my first shots this morning after burning through half my beans 😆. I have to say, after dialing in my first shot, it's absolutely delicious - and this is with the factory set 10.5 bar of pressure at the group and no pre-infusion or flow control. I'm very excited to elevate my game.

Hi - do you know if you can swap out of baskets across the double spout portafilter and the bottomless portafilter? i.e. put the double shot basket into the bottomless, and the triple shot into the double spout portafilters? What about the single basket into the bottomless portafilter? cheers!

    • @astrochan1212

Hello, yes I can swap the basket of both of bottomless and spout portafilter to my desired basket, currently using 20 g and 15 g VST Baskets :)
