I grew up listening to STYX they were my dad's favorite band sadly my dad was killed in a car accident when i was six. I have seen them play live 3 times i know ever song on there set and i can feel my dad's presence when i seen them play
So good. If you watched the short lived show Freaks and Geeks, this song was used in the final scene of the pilot. Placed perfectly at the high school dance.
You cannot go wrong with picking anything from the albums Pieces of Eight or Paradise Theater. On a side note, during my 7th grade choir/music rotation, we sung this song.
Agreed! This real version of this song goes on one of those tasty 70s prog journeys after the chorus(es). Not too heavy like Yes or old Genesis either. It really puts you in the boat!
I've had the pleasure of seeing them three times. Twice with the original line-up, including John P.😇 Once after Lawrence McGowin replaced Dennis DeYoung. It's impossible to not appreciate this song. They found their fortune🤑🤑 This is usually their encore song
Tahs, I just love both of you two !!! You both have awesome, beautiful souls, but I absolutely adore you and your personality ... so down-to-Earth and approachable !!! If I wasn't a poor old retired guy, I'd definitely donate money to your cause, so I hope you can just appreciate my devotion to the both of you 😊👍.
Aww, as soon as i saw the picture i knew it was the wrong one. You only heard half of the song. This is the made for radio version, cut in half. You need to hear the whole song, not this butchered version. You are missing out on alot
I Thought That They Were Angels, but Much to My Surprise, We Climbed Aboard Their Starship and Headed for the Skies!
You really need to listen to the studio version of this song. There is an entire instrumental part that is missing from this performance
Ya, this is an edited-down version of the studio track. I agree, the instrumental interlude is great, cutting it is definitely a loss.
Tasha going on a ride with E.T. love it ♥
Love Styx

This song has a beautiful melody!

Grew up with this song but never caught the part about the starship, now I love this song even more.
You were robbed. This version has cut out the instrumental from the middle of the song. Find the studio version and consider a new reaction.
need to try lady by them another great song

Magnificent band and a wonderful song!! 😅
Always wanted a Country 'cover' "Come Bale the Hay"
This song makes me nostalgic! I love it ! It’s beautiful and makes me a little sad !❤
Cool song about alien abduction
Thanks I haven't heard STYX in a long time thank you for the reaction this whole album was killer❤
Good video but the entire middle section is cut out and what's up with all the very short post song reactions?
My high school class song 🎼🎵🎶 WARWICK HIGH SCHOOL LITITZ PA CLASS OF ‘78 💜💜
And they’re Chicago boys too! Makesum better lol😂

They were so cool. Just your standard radiowave fare back in the 1970's, that I used to listen to as a kid. Love ya TNT. Peace. Later.
Another great reaction. Thanks!!
Cut version Tasha.
Definitely check out Yes: Brother of Mine, and Emerson Lake and Palmer: Karn Evil 9 1st Impression part 2.
Great song. Great group with too many hits to mention.
This version of the song sucks. Why would anyone destroy the song like that?
