I think the autotune meant to be poison because when he talks about the poison in his veins his voice gets autotuned

I must say, the use of strong autotune on Lindemann's vocals on the album is an unexpectedly great addition to the sound.
Gosh yes, the use of it on Lügen as Till gets progressively more desperate singing with his voice getting more distorted is so cool

Autotune was only when the lyrics sang that poison penetrated his blood. It's very well done to show that.
They pull a similar trick in Lugen. When he's singing softly about how great he is, his voice is normal. When he then sings the chorus about how it's all lies, the autotune is there adding an element of "falseless" to his vocals. Really effective.

The whole album is a banger. Can't wait for the show in Berlin in June. This will be the 12th time I see Rammstein live; the 1st one was in 1995 in Munich (with Clawfinger).

I was listening to the full album when it first came out and when songs like Giftig and Lügen were playing I literally dropped my jaw, stopped in motion, rewound on my phone, made sure volume was at max and then thought to myself.. Till autotuned?? And it sounds SO GOOD!!

Adieu is probably the highlight of the album, which is a good thing seeing it (rumored) purpose.

FYI: In case you have not recorded a reaction to it yet, it is very likely that there will be a music video for the song "Dicke Titten" soon. So in case you'd rather react it in combination with music video, I'd recommend waiting 1-2 months until it'll get released(should happen some time between May & July I'd say, if it wasn't scrapped)
There might be another video by Specter(the guy who did the Deutschland video) as well, though outside of him & Till having been in France a few weeks ago, nothing is known, so people can only speculate for which song that might be.
I also saw the pictures from the video shoot. Perhaps it would be interesting to react first with just the song and then again with the video. Although I'm not sure if the video will really show a different meaning. 🤣 But it's Rammstein - anything is possible. 😜

Lugen uses more autotune, but it fits the song. This album for me is up there with mutter. Mutter always have a special place for me, because it was the first album a bought from them and so it was always my number one and the only one that was on repeat for a long time. This album is very close and for sure is my second best album of Rammstein, i just can't stop listening to this album

UPD: Rammstein uses autotune as an effect on this album. In particular, in this song Till had it on his voice when he was talking about being poisoned. Second time I noticed some autotune was in a song “Lugen“ (Lies), where he used it when he was singing about lying. So yeah, they use it but not to hide the inability to sing 😂
this is definitely one of my favourite songs from the new album.
btw. the Song "Giftig" is about a Toxic relationship between the protagonist and their presumed lover with hints for domestic and sexual abuse^^

This song is for me the children of Radio and Sehnsucht, the keyboard is very present like Radio and the guitare are very dtrong like Sehnsucht.

Excellent song, it's good to see that Rammstein can still make such fast music. Untitled didn't have any track as fast as this. It's like a combination of Sehnsucht's hard refrains/choruses and LIFAD's speed and heavy, prominent riffs.
I recently thought that he may be doing a callback to amour where he sings "please please, give me poison"

Even as a German-speaking person I do not understand what Till to 2:20 sining 🤣🤣🤣. Or is simply embarrassed, the paralysis of the vocal cords (by the bite of the snake), that he can no longer sing?
Arguably one of my favorite songs on the record. And in the countermove of the 3 before songs, the tempo is neatly pulled up, what drums and guitar arrived.
is a description of a toxic relationship in music. The tactfully hissing synths sound like rattlesnakes, the booming guitars threatening. The chorus captivates with a vocal synth call-and-response.
All in all, the track exudes an Arabic-inspired vibe that reminds me of Richard Kruspe's solo project Emigrate on the one hand, but also of the track "Zerstören" from the 2005 record "Rosenrot" due to the back vocals at the beginning.
I'm looking forward to the review of"Dicke Titten" 🤣🤣🤣

There is no distinction between poisonous and venomous in German, they both translate to giftig. (Allthough in the context of the lyrics, venomous makes more sense I‘d say)
Stop mentioning auto tune and just enjoy what they do
This album has the most tasteful use of autotune I’ve ever heard. The song is probably about a partner who is poisonous to you, but you still can’t get enough of them. A better translation for the chorus is “You are poison”, not toxic. The name of the song is “Poison”.

This song is a followup to "Amour" from Reise, Reise. There love was portrait as a wild beast, too, and most of the song was the description of tearing, biting, devouring etc. By the end there were the lines comparing love to a venomous snake hypnotizing its victim, and the last line was "Bitte, bitte, gib mir Gift!"
