Thank you for having the descriptions written down in the information column for those of us who are deaf/hard of hearing.
Thank you so much for sharing your pattern. It is so easy to follow. I love that you also wrote the instructions for each row. I tried so many different tutorials but yours is the best. Thank you again.
This is by far the best and easiest pattern for a baby shoe sole. Thanks so much.
A total beginner at crocheting and I LOVE your tutorial. Very Easy step by step guide. Thank-you. 😄
Your crochet soles are so easy to follow and in two rounds only! I really love it! Thank you so much!
Thank you so very much indeed this is the 1st time I've actually understood how to make a sole for a baby bootie. The Best tutorial. THANK YOU
Omg you are best teacher !!! The way you explain full way and written all thing upwards it's amazing ..👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻you make life easier
Thanks
Thanks so much for sharing all the size options with tutorial and very clear instructions. Just amazing. Love it
Thank you for sharing! I LOVE your 3-6 month crochet baby shoe sole pattern; it fits skinny newborn baby feet better than any other sole pattern I have found! I use it with other crochet baby shoe patterns I have found, in place of the other patterns' soles. Your 3-6 month crochet baby shoe soles pattern also makes fabulous soles for crochet baby sandals!
I use a 3.5mm or 4mm hook and Hobby Lobby's "I Love This Cotton" (size 4/medium weight) yarn. For the best fit, I have adapted your sole pattern to fit various baby shoe patterns by increasing/decreasing the number of beginning chains, increasing/decreasing some of the DCs in Round 1, and increasing/decreasing some of the HDCs in Round 2 (I also change all of the HDCs in Round 2 into SCs).
For example, if a baby shoe pattern calls for a sole with 42 stitches in the last round: I chain 12, change the 7 DCs in Round 1 to 8, make all the HDCs in Round 2 into SCs, and change the 5 HDCs in Round 2 into 6 SCs.
MY 0-3 MONTH measured at 3 inches. :( very small foot. I am just going to the next size up. EXTREMELY
good instructions. I love your videos and thank you dearly.
It’s very clear to show step by step, it’s very easy to follow. Thank you so much for showing me how to crochet baby boots. I’m very happy that I made the first pair of baby boots.
Thank you so much❤❤
Brilliant. I have written all the sizes down and will be doing them. Thanks for the clear instructions and for sharing. ❤😊
Thank you so much for sharing. I have tried several different patterns but yours is so easy to understand. I can hardly wait to crochet a top for the sole! Yeah.
Thanks Gordon
Thank you for this easy pattern. I have watched other videos and they make it so confusing. Yours are very easy and to exact measurements.
I made football booties for my nephew who is turning one now. I followed your 9-12 month section. To make it bigger for my nephew's chunky footsies (lol) I used 4mm hook and Red Heart soft yarn. Came out to 5.5 inches. Perfect for 12-18 month old chubbies ;) Thank you for the great video xoxo

Thank you for sharing your beautiful work and videos!
Many thanks you made this very easy to understand. Lovely clear instructions I wish you lots of success in your blogs
You are so talented that you make it look so easy and fast. I am a brand newbie at crocheting at age 48! you're really good and thank you Kindly.!
Davida Hitchcock I too have only recently began crocheting at the sweet age of 45! What is it about our 40s that makes her dare to try new things! Anyways in the last few months I’ve watched thousands of RUclips videos to learn how to crochet and this lady is probably the best “Teacher” I’ve encountered! Very thorough! And not only explaining things like how other yarns will give you a different size and look, but showing that as well. She has my vote of teacher of the year! , too bad we can’t actually vote on that because I would come out to vote on that! I’ve seen more than my share of incompetence when teaching people how to crochet than I care to so it’s very refreshing when someone actually knows what they are doing!
Love your video I didn't think I could do these but it was easy to learn with you explaining each move and having the words on the screen to help me to know how to read a pattern cause I never knew before thank you so much for the video can't wait to learn more from you I subscribed to your videos and liked and following you on FB
Thanks :) I try to make my tutorial as simple as possible for beginner.
U r d best teacher. Sharing make simple shoe sole fr baby. Easy n best. Tq
If you're using Caron Simply Soft yarn, follow the tutorial a size up than what you're working on. For example, if you are trying to make a 0-3 month size, follow the tutorial for a 3-6 month size. If you are trying to make a 3-6 month size, follow the tutorial for a 6-9 month size. This is what I did when using the Caron yarn, and the measurements came out the way I needed.
Thank you! I was panicking because I basically use Caron and this is the first pair I’m trying.
Thank you i am making my own measurment for shoes shole

U are the best. Love your work. 🥰

U r the best 💗
Thank you for your tutorials 💓 In case anyone has a hole at the bottom of the sole. Leave about 6 inches of tail at the beginning. When you reach the size you want, use the tail to gently close the hole, then bury as usual. Yes, I had a small hole to close. ☺
My small hole formed cause i picked up an extra thread in that chain when i made my double, that could be why, But as you mentioned i fixed it with the initial slip knot tail that she keenly mentioned to stitch over, and that just so happened to leave the yarn right where i needed to do this as you mentioned, When i made my second to the pair i was mindful to just get the one chain thread on that double and it looked like hers did
I made a pair of booties for my daughter’s doll and I had a hole but didn’t worry much about it. Making booties for a coworker and same thing again but I redid the chain and made the first chain tight so when I worked it I wouldn’t have that hole. Didn’t think to use the tape to close it up though.
Thank you so much. Such a great help
Omg that was such a help and easy

Hello and thank you for the easy tutorial. I'd like to know how do we use the soles once we create the size we want? How do we know what kind of bootie to make? Do you have other videos for this? Thanks
I will make a separate video about that soon. Maybe around mid February. Stay tune!!!
Jackie C I was just about to ask the same question. The pattern from the sole up. How do we adapt or do that please??
Just uploaded new video regarding your question.. go check it out 🤗
❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️thank you!
Thanks a lot!
Very well explained
I have finer threads here and I want to make one for 1 yr old. What is should I consider? I have followed your pattern but the result is small.
Tq for your lesson
Hi I follow your pattern and use the same hook, however it turns out smaller for 9-12 months. I try to use 5.00 mm hook and it looks great and turns to 5". It might be because I'm not using red heart yarn. Anyway I love your tutorial. Thank you for sharing this./
It depends on the yarn, hook, and the tension you create the stitches with. I would suggest making one, then measure. Adjust your hook/tension till your measurements match the models accordingly.
