This was a great video... and she Never said this was a video for beginners. So if you are a beginner, pausing as you go would help. I never saw the old one, but as a non- beginner, I'm very happy with the pace of this updated one, and that you skipped over things like how to make a slip knot, single crochet, etc, or counting every single chain. These are signs that this is Not a tutorial catered to beginners. Not that one couldn't learn this with your clear steps, and a little pause here and there, but one Does need to know the basics. Thank you so much for sharing!

Really appreciate your taking the time to make these videos. Thank you!
For beginners, it’s super helpful to zoom in very close so we can see exactly where you’re putting your hook & into which stitch.
Here’s a good example of another crochet tutorial that’s easy to follow:

First off, thank you so much for this video!! I am new to crochet and have been trying to make different items.
I do have a question. On the second round of the sole, are you going under just the back stitch or both stitches? When I try to create these little shoes it's almost like I am missing something and the sole isn't expanding as much. Thank you for your time and expertise.

I had a VERY difficult time following this as I was always connecting the heel strap 'upside down.' That's because...like DUH! I'm LEFT HANDED. Once I figured that out, I was good to go. Instruction is very well done but a left handed version would make this a 10!

Is there a reason you cut off so much extra yarn after you finish with a color? I followed you then heard you say, “Now weave in your ends”, so I was very confused what to do with about a foot of wasted yarn! Did you weave all the extra yarn in?
