Great tutorial and easy to understand. I followed it using a 5.5 mm hook and weight 4 yarn. I found making a size smaller than I wanted gave me the correct sizing with the hook change

My baby is 4.5 months old, but his toes are 12 cms, so I was struggling to find the right fit. I had already tried 4 patterns and failed but finally, this one clicked. Thank you for this easy to follow pattern and tutorial. I was able to make my first pair of baby boots. I was able to make a pair of baby booties in less than 30mins. Now I can do all the variations from other patterns. Thanks again!
Yes I love this pattern as well. So easy to follow. I also,look forward to the version for adults. Have at least 6 pairs to make.
I love this pattern!!! For the biggest boot, I used a 5mm hook and did make the boot a bit
bigger. I then used a 4 mm for the 8-12 row...Looking forward in a pattern for adults now. Best thing about this pattern is there's no sewing together... Thanks again.... :-)

I love how well, your pattern is written. I crochet really tight so I went for an F (3.75mm) Hook and they fit my one year old very well. I am looking forward to making this same pattern for a friend who is having her rainbow baby in August 2021. Wish I could send you a picture of my little ones booties. I made the sole and the first row in red and the rest in a light yellow, then I finished the boots with one line of hdc in red at the top of the boots. they look amazing.

This by far is the BEST PATTERN for the booties!! Thanks so very much, I made the smallest for a doll I crocheted they are perfect and so cute. I added a scallop for last row, but also the beginning of this pattern could really turn into any style show because it’s such a great pattern to work up I am so pleased I no longer have to search and try other shoes ‼️‼️

Thank you, thank you! I made a similar boot but the back seam was very slanted which caused the decreases in the front to be off center. Your explanation about making sure the starting stitch is in the center helped me a lot!

Your video is easy to follow. I actually added one more row of DC DEC then a row of Triple Crochet before a row of DC and a final row of SC. I am going to put ribbon through the Triple Crochet. Thank you for your time..

I have just watched 6 other videos that confused the hell out of me all doing the same sort of pattern you are doing. Lucky number six and I understood your instructions were very clear. I love the look of them at round 5 they are so cute. I will do one pair just like this and one pair with the following rounds to make the bootie higher. Thank you so much for sharing. I have just spent four hours trying to understand all those other video's. It' a pity I did not come across your video first....would have saved my self hours. cheers. :) I am going to start with the first one and then have a go at each of the other sizes. I had to go back once or twice, but that was due to lack of concentration on my part. Excellent teacher. Their was one point of confusion, that was when you chain one and then say make one stitch next to the stitch....when it is into the same stitch as the chain one you just did, that would throw your work out by a stitch.

I did too. And I was getting a little frustrated. All the others I did got frogged. Why because somewhere in the pattern I went wrong? This is the first pattern where I can see that it's going well. I'm making mine as a gift so I want them to look good.

thank you for great tutoral and patterns,printed out all 4 sizes,because l dont have accsess to 4yarn , l have done samples with dk yarn,for smallets size l changed sc st to hdc,and hdc to dc with 4mm hook, came out perfect,and 3-6mths,made with 4mm hook and dk yarn .perfect again,so thank you

Btw, if after the round 2 done, but because of the yarn I use is slightly different so it does not reach the desired length of the sole, can I add additional round of single crochet as long as it keeps the 50 stitches as result?

i love these ! i just have 1 question... are you slip stitching in the 1st stitch when you get back around, then chi and start the next stitch in the same 1st stitch or skipping the 1st st and goin to the 2nd st ?
I start the 1st stitch in the same space with the slip sts unless otherwise mentioned in my video.

good tutorial with nice written patterns on the screen however the number of stitches in each row didnt add up which meant they ended up wonky as i had to do rendom increases and decreases

Love your video but I found mistake in 0 - 3 mth booties..round 5 is printed twice in the video no round 6 is anywhere...thought others would have picked up by now. Thanks for video...keep up your videos I do a lot of crocheting for donations.

Hi Jenny! When counting stitches, which stitch do you count AS THE LAST STITCH?? The one with the slip stitch LOOP coming out of it or the last stitch before actually slip stitching???

What size hook is everyone using, I tried the 0-3mo with 3.5mm hook and it was less than 3”, so I tried again with 3.75mm, still it’s only 3”, just wondering with anyone else had to size up hooks to get the correct measurements, the hook she is using looks much bigger than my 3.5mm hook
