One of my favorite songs to play, and this is a slightly different strumming pattern than I’m used to (though from what I can tell, yours makes more sense.
*Incidentally, it’s great to see another player who doesn’t use their thumb to block bass strings. That’s the way I learned and it’s always worked.
Thank you again. So many people haven’t heard this wonderful song.

I love all these 70s & 80s lessons you do. That was such a great age for guitar-centric music. And you and Andy over at Shut Up and Play have got to be the 2 greatest teachers on RUclips. I'm sure you get a hundred requests a day, but have you ever considered doing a lesson for Cinderella by FireFall? That song was huge in the day and no one has a lesson for it on RUclips.

Yep, great song! Once I learned to anchor that left pinky, it made things so much easier.
The demo, which is often played on XM, has a different chord progression on the turnaround.

Thanks Phil - great way to think about it - the pinky is indeed the anchor. I'll have a listen to the demo you mentioned - have never heard it. Cheers, Shane

Is this a re-do of a previous video? I have a songsheet from awhile back for this song, and I swear I got it from your website...
Edit -- yep. The songsheet I have definitely came from your old website. I just downloaded the new one from Patreon and you started with this old songsheet, but added a bunch to it. All that lead stuff that you didn't cover in your previous video. Very nice!! Thanks!
