I like riffs of the previous videos of beginner 10 lessons which I have studied it well and composed a song out of it. But I if you can make another riffs of different song so that I will know well I am David Sarpong from Ghana Kumasi. Should I post the riffs song for you
This is another one of my favourite Late, Great Tom Petty songs from the same studio album as "I Won't Back Down". This song was also covered by John Meyer. ❤Thanks Andy! I would like to request "Drive" by The Cars as my next tutorial for acoustic or electric guitar. Great session!
Great lesson. I'll get this with practice. Also always love adding new chords like shown here. This song is a must for me and again thanks for making this possible .
Thanks! you are all right and very good teacher to boot ..there are on commercials on RUclips saying you can't learn guitar very well on RUclips, but I beg to differ, you are one of the best on RUclips and plus your from England😃
One of The Greats! Fab lesson, I’m sure I do this in E, been along time since I played it! Think I’ll have to give it another bash! Super lesson Andy, thank you 😊
For real. I got into Tom petty after being introduced to his music by my uncle a couple of years ago. I’d started learning guitar at the time so he was a big help with songs to try and play that I genuinely enjoyed. Still listen to him most days, such a shame that he’s gone now. RIP Tom Petty
Thanks for this. I've been learning on Rocksmith for a long time and practicing this song there. It's super helpful to get a breakdown like this so that the game makes more sense. The rhythm really is the key to this song.
Level 6, play it on a twelve string to really sound like the recording :-P Seriously though, great demonstration. I had someone try to teach me the non-capo chords, and it just doesn't sound right unless you've got that moving line up top.
Thanks for watching! What other songs/ riffs should I do another 5 Levels In 5 Minutes video on? Let me know here! 👇
I would love to see a Mr. Bright side 5 levels! I know the intro can be played multiple ways 👍🏼 👍🏼
Great stuff, thanks! Would love to see a proper tutorial for Mammoth WVH’s Distance.

Andy is the best teacher on RUclips - always clear and very encouraging

Andy awesomeness again!
Thanks for teaching at different levels. Best concept I have found in my three years of learning. Allows for progression of learning.
Really enjoy the way you break this down into levels. Great approach - and also a great song!

Andy looks like a very happy person. I'd love to know him personally 😊
Great lesson. I'll get this with practice. Also always love adding new chords like shown here. This song is a must for me and again thanks for making this possible .

Tom Petty is a real rockstar, one of the greatest of all time. I will try all levels to see how I can do!

Hey Andy, you're the first one who plays the song as it really is!!! Capo 3rd fret, the Asus4 and all that. Finally 👍🏼👍🏼
Check out the Justin Guitar channel.
He's done it like that 6 years ago, but he uses a different strumming pattern.
Cool😊
Brilliant...thank,you. Can you try 'too many clowns' by Magnum 😊
Great video thanks. Please can you cover Dancing Barefoot by Patti Smith or U2’s version. I just love this song. Thanks
Awesome....made the upgrade to 16 within 1 min
...wow

How do you play riff with the capo
RIP TOM PETTY 🪦💔

now for level 6 the John Mayer finger-picking version
Get us a video on John Mayer’s version!
Take it to Level 1000 with Kelly Valleau's chord/melody version with percussion thrown in for good measure... It's actually not that hard.
Colourblind by Ed Sheeran would be a nice song to teach us on guitar( if it’s allowed). Thanks for the excellent lesson.
The five levels to rock n roll nirvana. Great lesson. I want to get to that higher level. ☸️🪷
