Fantastic car, fantastic color. I always liked these wheels. Oh yes, that sound...
Somebody is gonna buy this car and give it a concours quality restoration due to how rare it is
Q code is 428 CJ non-ram air. The door sticker shows V for rear axle code which is 3.91 (locking), trans code U is for a C6. Strange that this is not an R code model with the 3.91 gearing. It has the horns and oil cooler mounted correctly for a Drag Pak (3.91 or 4.30) car which would have been a SCJ engine. Strange. I guess someone ordered it without Ram Air, hence the Q code. Quite an uncommon combo. It is a Sportsroof, not a Mach I, so maybe this was a cheaper way to go for the original purchaser. Most of the ones I have seen were Mach I's that had the Drag Pak 428 SCJ. That definitely is an unusual Mustang. Actually, probably quite rare with that combo.
They made Q code non Ram air SCJ cars but you see more R code SCJ cars.
@@AmericanMustangsQuite uncommon. Must have been a cheaper purchase price originally.
@@AmericanMustangsI had a teacher in college who owned a 1970 Torino Cobra that he purchased new. He had to special order it because he did not want the ram air shaker. I have owned several 1969-1970 Mustangs back when these were just used cars. This Mustang is very unusual for what was ordered in that time period. I see someone wanted a clock on the passenger side and added in the incorrect woodgrain. Looks like a very decent car. It would actually be a little bit lighter curb weight than a Mach I due to standard interior, no fold down rear seat, no shaker.
Are those the 14 or 15 inch wheels?
How much for this ride bro

Way overpriced for a car that needs work. That very crooked rear bumper is probably just the beginning
lol you can’t hardly buy a roller with rust in the 30s.
timbateman: It is actually a very uncommon combo of parts, read my other post.
