Vizsla

The Vizsla. This little fella has boundless energy. He can stay active all day and will take some keeping up with. He’s a very friendly dog, and unusually so with strangers!
He really needs his exercise, and his frustration can become quite destructive if he doesn’t get enough. He’s a close-working gundog, and as such, in his heart he’s a true hunter; that gundog in him will always be on the lookout for the scent of a bird! A great protector, which he shows through his affection and sensitivity.
If you’re not an active person now, you will be with your Vizsla! He either needs to be taken for a jog or set free to run, otherwise he simply won’t be satisfied.
Grooming wise he needs very little, a brush now and then will suffice. A light, muscular dog, he has an abundance of speed and endurance outdoors.
Interesting facts: A Hungarian dog originally, he spread around the world as a result of Hungarians fleeing Russian occupation during the second world war. As they travelled to the far corners of the earth with their dogs, this breed gained great appreciation worldwide.
