In the anime they he reloads every regular gun but those specific 2 guns were made to not need reloading.

@@oboeshoesgames I played a little of gungrave gore when it came out on gamepass, but it never really grew on me. Maybe i'll give gungrave another try, seems like it is a lot like devil may cry 5, only with the focus being on shooting rather than hack and slash.

Fun fact: The characters of Gungrave were designed by Yashuhiro Nightow, the creator of Trigun. He also named several of the characters, which explains a lot.

Im glad that, even if somewhat ironic, this game is getting somewhat positively talked about after they made the effort to overhaul the game. We never get niche games like this anymore because most people can't get past the low budget aspects and realize theres a lot of fun to be had with this game

I live in the hyper-niche bubble of people that actually know about Gungrave, there’s a light-gun arcade game that’s meant to be played with two special pistols that can connect together to swap weapons in game or trigger special moves. Gore I think is a low-budget Chinese adaptation of the IP

It's like Berserk, where one of the big bads is named Conrad, which just makes me think of the kid from the Cat in the Hat movie.
Brandon Heat and Harry McDowell. Two friends capable of fighting against the entire world, but a giant criminal organization would imply the complete break of their world they once knew.
As generic as this game looks, I do kinda like the animated skull in the top left corner. It gives the HUD a little bit of personality in an otherwise derivative game. Reminds me of OG Doomguy's face.
