Thanks for the comparison of these 3 headphones. I went with the 720N, my first bluetooth head set. I am very happy with them, they have great sound & I love the NC function. I mainly use them when playing my PS5 so not to disturb my wife hehe. If you are looking for a great head set & you didn't want to pay to much, I do recommend the WH-CH720N.
Says on Google these does not work with Xbox or Playstation through Bluetooth?
@Den Maskerade Daskaren Correct they won't connect to the ps5. So I just connected to the TV as that is where the sound comes from anyway. Very happy with it, great sound.
@@retroman71 wow I never considered connecting right to the TV. I feel like an idot. Lol....this is probably a dumb question but can you talk to people you're gaming with through the headphones if you're connected to the TV?
@bzeefs3 HI, I'm not sure about talking to others through the headphones when connected to the TV. I would use the microphone on the controller. But I don't talk to others so I can't say 100%, but I can't see why it would be a problem.

I'm not sure which ones to buy, all I really care about is comfortability, sound, and how they fit around your neck when you're not wearing them. I've had many "over ear" headphones and for me I have many piercings and my ears are a little big so it gets uncomfortable to wear, I have yet to find some that won't hurt my ears. I've also noticed that when I would wear my headphones around my neck it feels like I'm being choked out unless I fully adjust them compared to my friends when I put theirs around my neck it fits perfectly without needing to adjust them.
Does the microphone of the 910N get on only during phone calls or even if i plug them in my PS4?

@@s3001ea Hi, I ended up with the Soundcore Q45 when Amazon ran a great deal on it (33% off, just under $100). I'm able to use the Q45 in Transparency mode on calls with both my phone and computer (shifting seamlessly between them) and listening to music on the Q45 in either Transparency or Noise Cancelling mode is great (depending on the circumstances with my admittedly not-quite-perfect hearing). The noise cancellation is quite good with most sounds. Certain sounds, particularly when short and sharp, do make it through at times (but greatly reduced) and continuous sounds like the carpet cleaner, the vacuum, and the electric lawn mower are practically silenced without music playing and are completely gone when music begins to play. The build quality on the Q45 seems good after almost two months of use, too. The only disappointment is that the battery life is significantly less than claimed (though still good enough to get through several days of calls and hours of music before needing to be recharged). Finally, though I knew it going in and had largely ignored it, the Q45's deeper, protruding ear cups, while comfortable for several hours on end, look a bit like something out of a sci-fi movie compared to the Sony or a lot of other models! In summary, I highly recommend the Q45 as a good option for consideration.
Does all these pause when i remove the headphones from head? Does it detect whether im wearimg or not?
I bought the XM5 and absolutely fell in love with the sound experience but the top of my head hurt when I used it (which I did daily), so I had to sell them. Amazing headphones but I don't know what Sony were thinking when they designed the headband. I want the same sound quality without the weight/pressure on my head, so 720N might be worth a try?

@@eagleeye8862 if you're considering 1000XM5 as well, then 1000XM5 has the best sound clarity. If you're just looking at 720N and XB-910N, the higher codec in XB-910N might help with sound clarity. However, sound clarity is equal between the two. The deciding factor between these two is whether you want the extra bass.

Yeah, there are some pics popping up online of the look of the next gen buds. apparently the source is legit so i kinda believe them. I picked up the 720Ns and pretty impressed with the sound and ANC. got a stash i am building up to buy the WHXM5s , but probably by the time i got the creds the XM6s will be out lol.

It's so hard to decide. I tried 2 of the headphones on my head yesterday. The 720 seems more comfortable. Unfortunately, I couldn't listen to the sound being that besy buy stand wasnt working. 910 has better features, like the touch and base. Best buy is currently running a sale on the blue 720 for $99.00 us dollar. The 910 in grey at best buy is $119. I really want them for tbe gym. So hard to decide 😪. I wish I could get the mx5. Because its a free birthday gift from my child I think Ill go with the 910. Thanks for the video.
I'm in the same dilemma but I'll use mine for work travel mostly. I also think I'm going with the 910 because of the extra features. Also, the 720s don't come with a hard case which I think is just silly.
I hope you were able to catch one for the recent sales where they were on sale for $119. 00 with 4months of free prime etc... @bzeefs3. I got the 910 so far. I like them.

If you place a full hand over the earcup - you mute the music and outside sound is transfered in the headphone! Thats a mega feature 🙂

I do have a question about the extra bass headphones. Don't get me wrong I do love some bass but say im listening to more chill songs that don't require an emphasis on the bass, with those specific headphones am I still able to change the bass and make it more normal I guess like the 720?
Yes! You can always tune the bass in the equalizer settings in the app. I don't own a pair of them but I do have experience with 'bass-heavy' headphones and usually you can tune out the base a little bit in order to make room for other frequencies in the EQ settings. I also don't know what other options Sony's app provides in order to get a better sound quality but maybe they provide more solutions to your problem aswell.
Love your review.. I was heart broken about the xm5's although they sounded great.. they didn't have the punch I loved with the xm3's! So I returned the xm5's then purchased the xm4's they didn't have the punch like the xm3's. I plan on getting the B910

I would have redone the mic comparison in the intro. 720’s had to deal with a lot more road traffic than the others. Looks like you were closer to the road with those as well.

this might be a bit late but for everyone else: i bought the space ones and yeah everything is really good and well made EXCEPT sound quality, it really lacks volume and bass (my opinion)

I heard that the drivers in the centre of the earpads poke through it and hurts the ear while using them, is it true?

aight I see nobody talking about this. the things is, I’ve recently ordered a pair of the 720n, right. And the anc button ain’t working at all n I’ve tried even resetting it to factory settings n still ,so if someone has or had this problem, please comment below 😭.
Is the difference in sound quality between the CH720 and the XM5 very big or hardly noticeable..I mean there is a big price difference. Here in Holland the XH720 is 100 euro and the XM5 is 350!!
I think for mids and treble 720n have similar quality to xm5, meanwhile the xm5 have better bass driver but it doesn’t mean 720n bass is not good. It’s just sounds more natural and wide while xm5 bass sounds closer to the ear and stronger. This is an advice from an owner of both headphone, if you’re not into hip hop, electronic music, or just the music that doesn’t require heavy basses you just have to buy 720n
yeahhhh i think the problem is.. the price jump between 720n and XB910n is.. MASSIVE, almost double in fact...

Hi, Thanks for the great video. In terms of Sound Quality and daily usage of 1-2 hours for gym, running and in general, which one would you recommend and pick?
720N are the lightest, so is go with those
I just need them for the gym as well, but because their both on sell with a $20.00 difference at Best Buy. I'm thinking about the middle one because the features are a little better. It's a hard guess to make because the middle ones are heavier and not as comfortable on the ear.
I use WH-CH720N when i work and if they break i dont need to be worry to spend too much money. but i really wanna try the WH-B910N maybe worth a upgrade becuse i lisen to dark hip pop.
I used my aeroplan points to buy the 720n. Should have it in a couple weeks. Excited to try them out.
How's the bass of 1000XM5 when compared to XB910?
That's what I'm looking for I can't find any reviews that focus on bass for the 910 but I'm really not trying to spend hundreds on hundreds just for the bass to disappoint as usual

In bass headphones, xb910 is excellent
720 sounds very narrow vs 910, it also has lots of trebble. Me i go with the 910, but I'm just not sure about the ANC
I couldve gone with the xb910. The only thing that keeps me from buying those is they're ugly on the head. Gonna have to buy xm4 since they fold more than the xm5.

Yeah, you can do it on the Sony app.
When I tried this and the 720n on in person, this was my worry. IMO the overall sound quality is better on the 910n, so I bought it and changed the sound to “bright” on the Sony app. This reduces the bass to 0 and sounds more balanced to me.

I bought the xm5 literally 3 times there’s a design flaw where the hinge on the headphones just snaps all I did was put then on like normal 🤷🏽♂️might just try out the cheaper option this time😂

Honestly, I'm just surprised the mic sounds so pretty decent.
after using for 5 months, they're sounding muddy fir me. im not sure if im the problem, with my hearing or headphones just does that. im new to headphones and haven't tried any audio devices but phone speakers and Bluetooth speakers

@@cutiebunnyamber3447 there's no "original" sound set up on consumer level audio products, most of the time u couldn't hear what the song composer wants u to hear, bcs for example, Sony puts they own Equaliser, not the actual tuning that the original artist wants you to hear
that's also why they created something caller "professional headphones" or "monitor headphone" bcs there's where the audio makers tune their audio hardware to sound the most "neutral" to represent what the artist probably wants u to hear, but that it self is not without any drawbacks, take audio technica, yes they're neutral sounding headphones most of the time, but they often lacks bass so much to the point of it being "not fun" to hear, if you still insist on listening on stock EQ,and want something actually good ur choice probably narrows down to Bose and Sennheiser

something like Bowers & Willkins or Bang & Olufsen are arguably better still , but they're in the different price range, they're kinda a luxury brand
My 6 year old is autistic and hypersensitive to sound. I got him xm5s but was not able to keep the ANC full time. They kept switching automatically. Which one of these is best for having full ANC at all times? Obviously, the better the performance of ANC the better
What was causing the ANC to turn off? Did you have speak to chat on?
@@CEONTHEMAKING my understanding is that the xm5s auto adjust ANC. With his Bose QC45, you can have it on ANC and it stays at full ANC, the XM5s auto adjust. I wasn't able to find a way on the app to leave it at full ANC permanently. I guess the XM4s are not auto ANC, but I was really hoping to buy the XM5s
the XM5 is 3 times more expensive than the 720n. I live in an area known for theft, so i'd rather get the cheaper option, just in case.
Really confused between 910 and 720
It feels like 910 are bulky and uncomfortable
I've got the 910s. They are very comfortable, but the head band looks large on my already large head. I don't feel it but when I see them in the mirror, they look big as the band doesn't contour my head like the xm5s. I love everything else about them though. And as I don't look at myself while wearing them often, the size doesn't bother me at all. That being said, I'm still looking at buying some xm5s now for an upgrade.

I am using WH-XB910N , XM4 younger brother. It is very great for meetings ... and calls. Whenever I listen to music, I forgot my surroundings felt like in a zenmode ❤... (ANC ON)
If XB910N is this good ANC, how much more the XM5.

Im torn between the 720n and 910. The 720n is cheaper but im afraid the microphone is not up to my standard. The 910 has decent microphone quality but im also not that picky with sounds.
