True. But you can create a realism craft world and select the realistic biomes add on above the behavior list in the settings and you have both and I can confirm it works. I just turn off all the vfx settings from realism craft as well just in case
@@MattWalks233 Is there lag between the two when features overlap each other when applied? like weather in each biome, god rays, lens flare, fog, tumbleweeds etc? I knew I should've waited for this, my long time survival world, seemed bland before Realism VFX and now seeing your comment that these two work together is a big W and maybe an overkill depending on features that might overlap one or another.
@@xgamerzeex7701 I don’t believe so! I think it just lags when the mist and wind dust is turned on but as soon as I turned those off the lag was completely gone! Probably because it’s a brand new add on so it’ll probably need another update or two just to fix the performance/optimization of it.
I am surprised that they didn’t make the price extremely expensive like when add ons like these dropped for the first time. Amazing job to Oreville studios and team on this!!
2 major bugs: Light source doesn’t travel nearly as far, if the light source isn’t in the chunk you are in, you no longer get the same lighting experience. I have a pretty large and well lit village and after I installed this pack, most of my village was blacked out at night but then relit as I approached the actual light sources. 2nd is that ground mist doesn’t look good and is definitely still a work in progress, I needed to turn it off. Besides that it’s awesome
@@slidersides while I agree, this bug affects all lighting period, not just the dynamic lighting. Like if I put a torch on a house and then take 20 steps back, I see a black silhouette of my house instead of a house lit up in the distance like I used to see on normal bedrock.
One thing which I feel they missed is that they didn't use the color grading in the biomes themselves. It would have been so much cooler to see the color actually change in front of your eyes, like having the blocks change color based on like a snow biome. This could have been a great option to pair along with the color grading. Color grating per biome
@@MattWalks233 okay I really just want to do one add on for the sake of people joining my realm. What does this one give me that realism craft doesn’t?

better that than 20 furniture addons, secret doors, etc. These are kind of like texture packs but with a lot of customizability. @@PXKLE i don't see why not, so you probably can. this is the most beautiful addon I've ever seen, I especially cannot get it with the desert, that is exactly what the desert biome should've been ever since caves and cliffs, or the nether update (also includes the other warm biomes, the Mesa and the Savannah)
