Some funny tidbits: 1. Gherkin's design is directly based off the Vlasic Pickles mascot just like R.J. is based off Baloo from TaleSpin. 2. Because none of the voice actors were given direction on how to pronounce "Unis", characters often pronounce it differently. Sometimes even the same character will pronounce it differently. 3. Apparently an update with the engine runs on it completely broke the prison escape part like a week ago. If you were trying to break the camera with the seat it just wouldn't bounce so the only way out was to provoke and knock out R.J. Also love the Night In The Woods fanart, what inspired it?
That would explain why RJ looks vaguely familiar. We had figured that Gherkin was based on the Vlasic mascot given appearance and name. Hence why we refer to him as Mr. Pickles. Huh, that's interesting to learn. I like the idea that they instituted this new currency and never told the populace how to pronounce it. Oh dear, glad we're past that part then. Hopefully that bug gets patched soon. Motts did such a good job on the art. ^_^ As for reasoning, we've played and like both games, they have recognizable art styles, somewhat similar themes. *shrugs It feels right.
The update was rolled out a little while ago so soon everyone should have it. And what are the similar themes? Dysfunctional astranged family? Mysteries? Tons of mini-games? Lol

Similar themes include, but are not limited to: Dysfunctional people, Depression and violent episodes, Poverty, the Dangers of Capitalism, Technology replacing the working class, wanting to leave the small town (Slums) for the opportunity of the city (Drums), Existential horror, an elusive cabal who are controlling the world from the shadows and will do anything in order to preserve some status quo that may never have existed, and Mysteries.
