Easiest way to explain the Valar: They’re archangels. Each taking dominion over specific aspects of mortal life and death. Nature, craft, war, sea, air, order and chaos, as examples. Beneath them are lesser angels called Maiar. Corrupted Maiar under Morgoth became Balrogs or dark spirits. In Sauron’s case, he retained much of his former powers and chose to appear fair for as long as that power remained open to him.
Sauron and Gandalf are both Maiar. Very hard to kill. As we saw, Sauron got stabbed countless times and basically reformed himself from a pool of black blood. Gandalf fell throught the earth for what seemed like eons for him fighting a Balrog and came back. What I don't understand is how Saruman ended up dying by being stab in the back with a knife by his mortal servant and fell from his tower. He should have been a lot harder to kill.

The quote that Tom gave the stranger is the same quote that Gandalf told to Frodo in LoTR. We all assumed who the stranger was but now its pretty much confirmed its Gandalf.
I still hold out hope that it isn’t. This quote doesn’t do anymore than “Always follow your nose.” In season 1 did. That basically confirmed it was Gandalf, yet I still hope. 😂
Actually they changed the quote, turning from a warning about judgement and whether we should judge people to die, to one about, I guess, the needs of the many outweigh the need to save your friends? Not only weird but so not Tolkien, and given that a key theme of the LOTR is where Frodo’s pity of Gollum actually redeems him in the eyes of Eru to actually interfere and fulfill the task of destroying the ring, kinda important. Also, Tom Bombadil would never act this way. He is oldest and all knowing, and does not care about the troubles of the world. It is why they rejected the idea of giving him ring to hide in the Council of Elrond. As with all things in this show they feel it necessary to literally change the nature of all the characters, not one portrayal in this series is consistent with characters in all his works. The fact they simply ignore the character that Tolkien wrote in the adventures of Tom Bombadil is just icing on the cake, they are just using the names of people and places and trying to shoehorn modern ideas in a story that was written in the tradition of the ancient myths of Europe with a keen interest to establishing an English (uk) mythology. The shire is rural England personified, filled with seemingly unimportant people to outsiders, but actually are a stern and sturdy folk who end up saving the world. These writers are not only terrible adapters but their depiction of fantasy is so lost. They don’t understand the genre so how could they think they had the chops to tell a modern interpretation. The problem is not the DEI inclusions as there is plenty of room in the story of the 2nd age to include such characters…Tolkien actually has many different “races/tribes” of elves some who made it to Valinor and others who never saw the light of the two trees. Numenor was a gift of the Valar to the THREE tribes of men who opposed Morgoth. Also the men of the twilight includes Easterlings, Southrons and Haradrium all who likely were deceived by Sauron with the Rings of Power. They could easily have included all sorts of races as the story of the 2nd age is so broad and It just didn’t need to be this bad.
The only thing with orcs attacking Eregion is that there's no one really there which we care about other than Celebrimbor. At least till Elrond gets there. With these orcs attacking The Southlands led by Adar, I was afraid for it's people. Here I can't quite say I'm invested.
I assumed the sea monster was the same one since they were nearish Numenor when they were found by them in s1 right? Also for Aaron, I believe it’s more a case of the Valar being a more Elven thing but the “faithful” people of Numenor have Elvish ties (such is their divide with the new king currently who is more against it, they cast out the faithful king in s1 and “elven stone” was the issue in ousting Miriel) that’s why his dude was like…well if Elendil is a faithful then we could use the valar ways to see if he should die or not. I hope I’ve understood that correctly!
I hope this show not cancel after this season as the Trump supporters are complaining about it because of wokeness and that the chars are not all white.
Galadriel (the character - elfvish, lived so long) was written to have 3 facial expressions and rotates them depending on mood - youve exactly dictated how Tolkein wanted her written! Amazing!
@henrietta9206 that's some cope. How a character is written through text is a bit different to how it translates on screen. Additionally, there's a difference between being a stoic elf and being completely unable to act. I think you're confusing what Tolkien wanted with what we actually got.
the way you guys cut the video like that, i don't like it. please, don't cut the video like that! i can't see the parts i want to see. about how you guys react. for example, when adar blows the trumpet in front of the orc army. and, there are still some more. I don't enjoy it.

Giant squid beat giant eagle!!
I theorize that Morgoth's crown will be used as part of the ring.
That’s fun, I hadn’t thought of that.
The only thing with orcs attacking Eregion is that there's no one really there which we care about other than Celebrimbor. At least till Elrond gets there. With these orcs attacking The Southlands led by Adar, I was afraid for it's people. Here I can't quite say I'm invested.
Fortunately that’s not the point of what’s happening so it doesn’t really matter. He’s setting it up to have the elves fight Adar.
I’m invested in Mirdania.
Just fly there... .come on guys be better
I like show but just give us more crazy creatures more magic moments and a bit longer dialougues I will be happy😂
@@auroraprs9133 u tryna put these actors through hell lol
@@ThrghmyEyeZZ actors? you think this is acting?
God this show is SO good
I assumed the sea monster was the same one since they were nearish Numenor when they were found by them in s1 right? Also for Aaron, I believe it’s more a case of the Valar being a more Elven thing but the “faithful” people of Numenor have Elvish ties (such is their divide with the new king currently who is more against it, they cast out the faithful king in s1 and “elven stone” was the issue in ousting Miriel) that’s why his dude was like…well if Elendil is a faithful then we could use the valar ways to see if he should die or not. I hope I’ve understood that correctly!
The creature in season 1 was more like a whale with side fins.
I hate Nori's scream 😂. Its so unpleasant. Its like AaAaAaAaA
I can hear this comment and I agree
I would have preferred the transition to the carnage in Eregion happen as soon as Celebrimbor closed the door.
I hope this show not cancel after this season as the Trump supporters are complaining about it because of wokeness and that the chars are not all white.
hope they cancel the show because it spits in JRR Tolkien's works and JRR is boring and bad.
He is Blue Wizard and not Gandalf.
then the writing is more dogshit than ever because it keeps quoting peter jacksons gandalf
He is a grand elf
good that you guys cut out the entire plot of the harfoots haha :D
The harfoots are great
@@pseud0nul nah, they boring in my eyes.
@@pseud0nul no. they are not
the actress who plays galadriel cannot act one iota. she has 3 facial expressions and rotates them depending on the mood.
I think you're confusing what Tolkien
wanted with what we actually got.
'Blind' is a very accurate way to describe their way of viewing this bastardization of Tolkiens work
the way you guys cut the video like that, i don't like it. please, don't cut the video like that! i can't see the parts i want to see. about how you guys react. for example, when adar blows the trumpet in front of the orc army. and, there are still some more. I don't enjoy it.
The reaction has to be edited. They have to follow the '10 minute fair use' rule that RUclips has.
If the guys showed everything then the video would get taken down .
It's their reaction, not yours....
How can that be Morgoth’s crown?
Sauron had it resized to fit him.
Adar said, it was reforged
How can it not be?

Sad to see how much support this show is getting from Blind Wave, A show that has horrible writing, pathetically boring and incompetent characters, a lack of worldbuilding that makes any sense, a bastardization of everything Tolkien stood for and wrote about. Thank god the ratings for the show are down and hopefully it gets cancelled after season 2 or 3.
