Just wanted to add that my favourite part of your channel is that you include shots of watches that are not too close up, but show the watch more how other people would view it on you as you wear it. I think that is one large differentiating factor between your channel and other watch reviewers that only show the watch close-up on the wrist and in macro. It's great to see the pieces from a different perspective! Cheers
Thanks so much for the feedback. I actually realised myself that I liked how the watches were wearing on others wrists and that gave me a completely different look to how it looked on my own/wearers wrist from wearer view, that’s when I decided to start showing watch on the wrist from third persons perspective :) Thanks again for the feedback - helps me keep producing these clips :)
Very good point. Matching the watches to the shirt (which is something that one would try to do in real life as well) also helps to imagine how would the watch look in real life situations. This is really a nice point of differentiation from other videos. Keep it up.
I love it! ......it’s classy and sporty and a traveler’s best friend. 70 hours power reserve and better lume makes it a beauty. I’m getting one. Time to trade in my older models.
The other night I had a dream a firend had a new rootbeer and let me try it on. I woke up wanting one. Instead, I RUclips searched it and saw Hafiz made a review a year ago. Great video, gorgeous watch, but I'm afraid it will have to stay in my dreams for now. Thank you, Hafiz.

The GMT-Master II isn't a sports model for me, so the two-tone setup just makes sense. It's warm, luxurious but still functional. In my opinion the only gripe is the color scheme of the bezel. Regarding the color transition of the bezel, I think Rolex takes "18" as a whole, so the transition was put in the middle of 18 rather than 8. Personally I agree with their choice.
Hi Eric, I too one this Rootbeer variant and am so please that i do not require another watch. BTW it gives me 3 seconds fast per day. how about your watch accuracy, do you mind sharing this with me? Also I bought this watch for US 12000, how about you?
Yah the price of this two tone is also on the next level! 😂😂😂 Nice watch but i still think the bluesy is a much more beautiful and impressive watch than this. This one doesnt have a sunburst dial.
@@uropy It's called being a watch collector lol. A Diver and a GMT serve two different purposes. They do look similar granted but as a watch collector the difference is quite substantial.

Super review and super shots! This is probably the best GMT Master ii that one can currently buy. I love the Pepsi too but am kinda put off by the shabby paint job on the GMT hand... definitely not expected from Rolex! This being with gold GMT hand atleast won’t have any bad paint job.. makes me prefer this over Pepsi!

Thanks for another brilliant review - your macro photography is incredible! A full black bezel with the same steel and rose gold trimmings would be much more versatile in my opinion. Salaam brother great review. Really enjoyed that. Great background music. Great explanation of detail. Please do more reviews on all types of watches. That was really awesome. I will be looking forward to seeing more videos.
incredible macro shots! completely agree that the everose gold definitely tones down the bling compared to yellow gold, making it more versatile as you state. your comment on the asymmetric bezel colour change at 9 o'clock position may be incorrect if you take into account the span of the '18' on the bezel. as always, love your work hafiz!
Thanks so much. I know what you mean regarding comment on asymmetrical transition. But it just put me off a bit seeing the colour change not at the centre of the text 8. Like you say, I could be wrong.
The color change occurs exactly at 6 and 9 o’clock as indicated on the dial as I see it. The font of the bezel numerals give the effect of misalignment but it is in aligned I believe! Great points about the dust and scratches. Rolex watches are mass produced and in my opinion two tone sports would be the highest I’d go in terms of price. After that, there are simply finer finished watches I’d much prefer. Rolex makes an amazing mass produced watch.

Hey man the bezel color change does happen at the center of the 18, but is is at absolute center of the 18, meaning the number 1 takes less space physical space but has more blanc space than the 8, therefore shifting the central line... its a bit not too straight forward to conceive but it is balanced.

After buying an oyster perpetual 34mm white dial for my wife, a week later my AD called me to pick this root beer up that came straight from Switzerland. This watch is the best Rolex for me😉
No question it’s a beautiful piece and at 40 mm the perfect case for me. I just wish the Rolex customer experience was not as terrible as it’s become. You would think, maybe that for a $15,500 watch Ads might show you a modicum of respect 😂
I managed to get one of these after only 3 weeks on a waiting list. Thanks COVID.....Just collected it today. I know people will say I should have bought it and sold it, but I’m afraid I don’t agree with that kind of thing. Love the everose and am so pleased with it.
Hi Andrew. Congratulations on your new watch purchase. I too own one . I wanted to ask you what is the accuracy you are getting ? I am getting +3seconds per day. I truly love this watch and bought it for Indian Rupees 890000. How about you? what was the cost of your acquisition if I may ask? and the accuracy
@@manishdalamal9007 hi. It was lis5 price for U.K. as I got it new. Accuracy, well, it’s keeping time fairly well although I did note initially that there was some variance compared to my omega but to be honest it’s nothing drastic. Not worth writing about anyway ..haha. I still look a5 it ever6 da6 and think 😃wow, although already the gold is getting those hairline scratches . Hey ho, it’s to be expected if one wears it everyday.
i own this watch, since feb 2019 and it has been sent to rolex 4 times for regulation. keeping my fingers crossed as i am taking delivery tomm. last i got 3.5 spd loss
I've had mine since early October. It ran about 5 seconds slow at first. Booooo. I only allowed it to stop running once since I got it. No winder, just normal wear. Its been running about 1 to 2 seconds fast per day now that's its settled in. No service
@@jeremydahm2124 Nice to hear. About my watch after regulation at RSC, it now runs at 2.5 to 3 seconds fast every day. Though I hear some people on youtube state that they get +0.2 seconds fast per day, I am happy with current accuracy in my watch. So nice to hear from you. Also did you buy your watch from an AD and how much did it cost? Mine cost me Indian Rupees 891000 and how about the cost of your watch?
@@manishdalamal9007 I think it also depends on how we wear it. Mine is on wrist about 10 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week. I rarely if ever unscrew and wind it. Who knows. Looks the business though doesn't it? ; )
Proud owner of CHNR. Truly the best GMT. Pictures do no justice. However, you did a great job with the video quality. This is a watch one must see In person. Great job on your video!
Hafiz J Mehmood yes I bought this piece over its solid everose version because the steel compliments it in a way the pink gold does not. Congrats on your GMT. It’s my favorite line in rolex ties with the Skydweller.
Hi watch fanatic. Nice to hear kind words since I own one too, since almost 2 years now. I am getting accuracy of +2.5sseconds per day. How about you?. Would you advise that I get it regulated? the service centre says that the casebook screw grooves collect dust on frequent opening of case for regulation, so I have not done any regulation. Please share your views
@@manishdalamal9007 its rated +/- 2 secs/day so you are in range. I only wear this watch on the evenings out so not a daily for me. Enjoy man, you have great taste!
Thanks for a great video - I now have this watch and absolutely love it. I also like the shirt you’re wearing, which complements the watch perfectly. Could you let me have the make. Many thanks,
Agreed about distance being 12 hours. But the point i was making is that the transition at 12 hours should align with the centre of the digit 8. Just looks off aesthetically to have transition happening unevenly around the digit 8.
Hafiz J Mehmood no it shouldn’t mate. the only way that happens is if the numerals are different sizes, different fonts are used or the spacing is irregular.

It’s gorgeous, surprisingly light, looks and feels fabulous. I was intending to get an explorer 2 black face bu5 no5 so sure now. This is just amazing in person. Love the everose and am so pleased with it.
Hi Andrew. Congratulations on your new watch purchase. I too own one . I wanted to ask you what is the accuracy
you are getting ?
One of my favourite Rolexes! but the most versatile 2-tone i think would be the new Cartier Santos. Sporty and a bit dressier
What did you think was more comfortable between the gmt jubilee bracelet or oyster gmt bracelet? Thanks😊
Great video! Beautiful watch!
i own this watch, since feb 2019 and it has been sent to rolex 4 times for regulation. keeping my fingers crossed as i am taking delivery tomm.
last i got 3.5 spd loss
Who knows. Looks the business though doesn't it? ; )
I own this watch and it is so much more beautiful in person and on wrist.
Wonderful production of a beautiful subject ... I'm on the list ... Patiently waiting ...
You got it?
I do :) ... Pictures , even Hafiz macro , do not do it justice ... It glows . A keeper ... Great movement too.
Love your reviews! Extremely thorough and well thought out. What’s the music you use in the background of this review? Thanks!
The best by a country mile!
Excellent review my friend, exceeded my expectations. Well done.
Nice video. One comment though - isn't the color change at the "18" in the middle of the entire number "18" itself?
Proud owner of CHNR. Truly the best GMT. Pictures do no justice. However, you did a great job with the video quality. This is a watch one must see In person. Great job on your video!
Thanks so much. Many congrats on great acquisition.
Hafiz J Mehmood yes I bought this piece over its solid everose version because the steel compliments it in a way the pink gold does not. Congrats on your GMT. It’s my favorite line in rolex ties with the Skydweller.
Hi . What is the accuracy you are getting on a daily basis? Mine is +3 seconds per day, wish itwas like+1secnds
How about you? what is yours?
@@manishdalamal9007 mine is +1 seconds per day
nice review
Thanks Hafiz for the comprehensive review. Does the new caliber have a quick date adjustment?
No. Sorry. I should have mentioned in the review. No quick date change unfortunately even in the new movement.
Beauty! It’s my best watch by a mile.
Hi watch fanatic. Nice to hear kind words since
I own one too, since almost 2 years now.
I am getting accuracy of +2.5sseconds per day.
How about you?. Would you advise that I get
it regulated? the service centre says that the
casebook screw grooves collect dust on frequent
opening of case for regulation, so I have not done
any regulation. Please share your views
@@manishdalamal9007 its rated +/- 2 secs/day so you are in range. I only wear this watch on the evenings out so not a daily for me. Enjoy man, you have great taste!
I’m lucky enough to own one ❤stunning 👍
Great Work, Hafiz
Hi Hafiz, superb review!!just wondering how would you choose between the rootbeer and VC overseas dual time?
Rolex: we make the best watches. A little dust and a few invisible scratches are all part of watchmaking
Grand Seiko: hold my beer
Hahaha. Couldn’t have been said better.
My Dream Watch . Hope to acquire this in 2 to 3 years time. 😂
This and the all gold bluesy are my favorite. 🙌🏼😍
I have both and yes they are the 2 best rolex for me with daytona oysterflex rose gold chocolat bezel
Another video, your slowly becoming my favourite watch reviewer
Thanks so much. I’m so very glad to hear this :)
Nice video
Consider that the colour change at 18 is about exactly half way if you measure the 18 as 1 number i.e. inner edge of 1 to outer edge of 8
Sorry I meant outer edges of both
GRNR or CHNR?
Thanks for a great video - I now have this watch and absolutely love it. I also like the shirt you’re wearing, which complements the watch perfectly. Could you let me have the make.
Many thanks,
Very well spoken
Great review! I would like to see one on the Breitling AB0162121C1S1
Superocean Heritage B01 Chronograph 44 Steel - Blackeye Blue
The color change is exactly at the middle of 18 (not 8!), just like in case of all other gmts...
Yeah, seeing it again, it seems centre of 18 and not 8. I’ll see if I can edit the video as I largely wanted to emphasis that it’s not centred with 8.
Next to the two tone blue sub, this is the best two tone Rolex.
This is the best two tone Rolex ever.
What is the approximate buying price for a GMT Master2 126711 CHNR in the United States?
to put the transition in between the 8 would be incorrect; the transitions should be exactly 12hrs from each other
Agreed about distance being 12 hours.
