    I'm new to cricut! And I was wondering why the cricut didn't cut out my felt shapes. Found your video, to find out I didn't change the blade to the rotary one. It made the design, with the fine point blade, but it didn't cut it. Thank you for your informative video! Now I know what blade I need to use for felt. And I had no idea about the different kinds of felt either! Thanks again!

    I know plenty have said so, but this video is so informative! I feel like I won’t have to watch any other video on cutting felt since you covered all bases. :)
    I’m wondering if spraying the cheaper felt with fabric stiffener/mod podge (and fully letting it dry of course) before cutting would lead to better results…

      Hi, the only Cricut family that will work with felt is Maker; you can get Maker 3, which is one of the new models or Maker. If you get Maker 3, you need to buy the rotary blade, and if you get Maker, this one comes with the rotary blade included. If you want to know the difference between them, check my video about Maker 3 vs. Maker.

    What is the backing on the light pink felt? When people say to add backing to felt, is it butcher paper or iron on interfacing or something else?

    • @AvantiMorocha1
      @AvantiMorocha1  3 года назад +2

      Hi, the pink felt is adhesive; when you remove the backing, you can stick the piece of felt to your project. Generally, when people talk about adding a backing to felt, they are talking about interfacing (Head&Bond). You don't need to add a backing to the felt if you're using Cricut Maker and the rotary blade. I hope this helps. 😊
