I had the opportunity to go to his concert in Brandon a few years back. He kept right on singing and he shook hands with all who wanted to shake his hand. Charlie is a very humble man. I always loved his music and now his humbleness.

I seen Charlie at a night club in Portland,Oregon when he was just getting started,and when he went on break came around to all the tables and shook hands with everyone and thanked them for showing up.

When I went in the place was packed and a black Man had a white guitar with gold looking tuning keys, Playing and singing like I never even heard on KOPR radio. The people had the Bartender remove Me. I was warmed back up anyway and crossed Main St, and was over a half block away when I heard "Hey Kid", I turned around and it was that black Man. He came up and told Me He was sorry I had to leave. We talked a couple minutes then He went back to work. It wasn't till later watching T.V. when I saw {Charley Pride}! 😃🤩😁Yup!! G-G.
Charley loved ppl. He always seemed to be a bit shy to me though. He was a very good man, i could tell that when he performed onstage. He loved Rosene, his wife, & that was also plain to see.
