Preorder is full payment upfront. I bought the artic ocean ltd edition Dec 2023 from a UK retailer £500 deposit then remainder when ready to ship. Problem was I received the watch and they forget to ask for the £1,100 😂. They asked for it in Feb 2024 😭. Tempted to buy the blue as it resembles an omega style watch.
The younger generation enjoy phones computer games with action and color not drab looking like " nostalgic " watches. Seiko is taking notice surely. You think they care about what a Seiko looked like in the sixties? 😮
love the blue but no new seikos are actually 1000-1200 dollars worth asking price. not even 800 imho.... the build quality is that of a 500-700 dollar watch.
These are just vile. Seiko is back to pumping out knock-offs, like they did in the 1990s with Breitling Chronomats. This one is a Tag Aquaracer clone. They have a Daytona knockoff in the Speedmaster, they have a baby Marinemaster that looks like a 39mm pre-ceramic Rolex. Bleh.

If only the bezel was black instead of copper…it would be on top of my shopping list…ah well I’m leaning towards the spb453.
Personally, I would go with the Spb453. This one just looks too much of a Tag aquaracer.

Ever since I bought a watch from MAMACOO, My question is if it's this hard to tell them apart, what is the point of owning an authentic watch?
The bracelet with a two point micro adjustment is the reason why i sold my Pogue themed speedtimer.
you can replace the clasp on these quite cheaply - not that you should have to! Also a few other bracelet options from uncle seiko and others.
I was considering selling my SBDC113 for this, but you talked me out of it.

What is the bezel material cannot find out anywhere
Coated aluminium, I asked that same question to seiko boutique in the UK. A pitiful choice in my opinion.
Why won’t they release a watch like this with a ceramic bezel.

This is a more premium seiko. If you can’t afford it buy a cheaper seiko lol. They have plenty of watches for 250$.
Cheaper seikos just have terrible QC, Bulova, Casio and citizen are just quality in the sub 500 mark
