- G'day folks. Well what an amazing afternoon I had out metal detecting with @DirtFishMish this time. I didn't mean to find so much great stuff with the Minelab Manticore as I was hoping Mish would, but thats metal detecting for you.

Well, it was certainly a great day out... and a great afternoon for SOMEONE. 😂 I'm glad you were able to use the footage, it was heartbreaking when we found out there was no audio as you really did have an absolute ripper run there! What a stonking trip that was Andrew. I was so happy for you....as if I was there unearthing them myself. I'm sure on the next adventure, the tables will be turned and Mish will be the one with a pocket full of goodies.

Gday Mark. You can find all these things in most gold fields and in a lot of old towns along the east coast. At the end of the day it was just one small bit of ground in a very big country. I was just lucky. Did feel sorry for Mish. Take care mate 😁👍

Gday Roelf. Was a great weekend with Mish staying with us. Viv did a great job in saving the footage. She did all the editing without me seeing then got me to voice over as I was watching it for the first time. Unbelievable couple of hours at the end. I gave Mish the area I was working to see if there were any more tokens there and promptly found another in a different spot. Funny how it can happen that way. Everywhere you swing is a great target. July must be groat season down here. I think there is about 6 or 7 of them have come up this month that I have heard of. Amazing. We are both well. Hope you and Mrs Roelf are too. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍

I didn’t mean to hog all the good finds. I gave her the area where I got the two one penny tokens, then in a new spot, promptly found the half penny one. When your luck is in, it’s in. Unbelievable arvo. Hope you are both well 😁👍

Oh! I bet you were very popular by the end of the hunt, one was bad enough, but three! You should have distracted her and chucked a spare, in one of her digs. Nah! that wouldn't feel right! Gday Wayne. It was a top hunt. I did find a couple of high number targets to get Mish to dig but they weren’t tokens and then she said she wanted to find her own signals to dig. Thought it would be cheating. What was really hard was after I found the groat and two tokens I bequeathed her the ground I was working and moved to another spot and promptly found that half penny token. Talk about soul destroying. I didn’t do it on purpose. We are still talking which is good. Means she just has to come back up for another round. Hopefully with better results. Take care mate 😁👍

good thing about it is everywhere I’ve been is loaded with low tones,

Gday Jim. Viv does a brilliant job. Without her I wouldn’t be on RUclips. Plain and simple. Sometimes the low ones are crap but sometimes you can get an amazing surprise. Gday Greg. Don’t know about gothic but it doesn’t have hall marks on it. Someone that knows silversmithing made it but it is silver and beautifully made. Hope Mish has better luck next time 😁👍
