G'day CBK.. my first job in my youth was working in a fabric and curtain department so my immediate guess was a curtain ring too! That locket was BRILLIANT. That would be a beautiful piece to restore and wear on a chain. Or perhaps for Viv 😊. Thanks for sharing!
Love the scenery, love the camo coat, love the finds, love detecting in a dump, another enjoyable time spent watching the CBK. Thanks for sharing 😊👍👍 Camille
Gday Camille. It’s not a bad spot. The whole town is surrounded by rubbish dump. You’d love it. Never know what will pop up. Thanks for coming along mate😁👍
G'day Andrew, Amazing finds coming up on this days outing. Never expected to see a sun baking silver amongst all that trash but there you go... someone lost it and you found it 👌the pendant was a nice find too, well done mate 😀👍👋 Take care 👍 Tony
Gday Tony. There are an amount of sun bakers out there you have to be lucky to walk over them. Usually the detector finds them first though. Thanks for watching mate. You take care too 🦘🦘😁👍
whoa a piece of stuff Andrew ya dont need to detect anything else ya got a piece of stuff!!! the insides of the pocket watch is cool. Oh a full lock thats awesome. A sunbaker coin that a find. some wicked finds this episode Andrew great video
Gday Gadzee. A piece of stuff isn’t a bad find at times. I was lucky with that one. Very happy with the lock and the coin. Thanks for watching mate. Take care 😁👍
Fun day out mate!! Always good when ya find a knob 😂😜. Gorgeous hand made lock!! I reckon that was a lighter as well back in its hey day. Cheers mate and all the best out there 👍⛏
@@TheCoffeeBushKidhahaha so do I when I see you dig one haha. Thanks mate appreciate it, very happy to be making vids again and back out there. Cheers and take care too buddy
G'day Andrew. Those train carriages were like a mobile art gallery with all that graffiti on them. Some nice finds with the M9 coil.Must agree that the M8 coil is better in super trashy areas, but the lightness of the M9 is a great bonus.I wonder if an M6 coil will ever come out? Ripper padlock there.I found a nice one too on my last hunt( for a future vid) .Cheers mate and catch you on the next one.
Gday Gary. Was a long train. Arm got tied holding the phone. Had an epiphany the next week about using the M9 😉. They reckon they won’t do a 6” coil for the manticore cos it won’t handle all the power that comes out. Shame. It is the greatest little coil. I do miss it. It was a nice padlock. Look forward to seeing yours. Take care mate 😁👍
Nice job love the padlock, just stunning. I’d like to see you run the 6” coil in there. But I’m impressed how well you managed that, I would have found that too frustrating with a large coil. Thanks for sharing
Gday Jeff. Padlock was a great find. 6” coil would be brilliant but they don’t make one for the manticore. Don’t worry, it was frustrating. I have a bright idea next week so stay tuned for another….. you know how it goes. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
Great Hunt, Mr Coffee Bush, Still Only Silver Coins Found With M9 Coil, You Are A Great Job On The Minelab Show, David Should Watch Out He May Have Lost His Job🤣🤣
Gday Gavin. Happy to find the silvers. Thanks for saying I do a great job. Dave is safe. Do not want to do it full time. It is his show and I’m happy that way😁👍
rippa of a hunt Andrew 👍. I'm currently saving up fornthe manticore and will probably look to add that coil to it at some later point. thanks for sharing mate 👍
Thanks for sharing another great adventure Professor CBK. Love your finds especially that old pad lock just need to find the key. What's your wild silver count at so far this year. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍🤜🤛
Gday Joe. Thanks for coming along. Pad lock was a great find. Very happy. I reckon I would be lucky to be over 20 silvers for the year. Started very slow. Got most of them now with the M9. Take care mate 😁👍
G'day Andrew it's a ging, a Shanghai, Americans call em a sling shot. And you've lived a very sheltered life as a boy if you've never made one. Wire was ok if you didn't have access to a black wattle fork. Then cut up an old bike tube and link them together. Cheers.
Gday Mick. Yes it looked like one but engineeringly it looked too small and flimsy and would bend with a good pull back. But happy to go along with it being one. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
Great video Andrew , that padlock is amazing, you should get a locksmith to clean it out and cut a key for you. By the way that sixpence is in great nick.
Gday Roberto. The lock was a great find but I’m happy with it as is. Nice bit of history right there. The 6d was in nice nick. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
It is a nice coil. Been using it lots in the trash. If you get into the real heavy trash you may want to put the M8 back on for the less ground coverage. Great searching coil. I’ll be watching when you do it 😁👍

The padlock looked like a yale lock. Good find with the silver sometimes we just get lucky. So you would use the M8 over the 6 inch? Thank you for the video and have a g'day.
Gday Marta. The lock was a great find as was the six pence. Would use the M8 in the really trashy stuff but they don’t make a 6” coil for the manticore which is a real shame. The detector is too powerful for such a small coil. Thanks for watching mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Nice outing, Mr CBK, ought secure the shrubbed caffeine warrant of "trash & treasure fields". We'd oddly been given by a friend his late father's selection of small padlocks, rather than turfed when they sold the home and they moved, among which is this exact "Warranted Secure, Hand Made, Bind Free", in perfect condition, with two keys. Yours may be free of binding with a gentle fettle, and should you need a pattern for a key, I could send images, easily whittle your own keys from appropriate approximate spares. I guess you could gauge the levels of wealth by the garbage dumping, what treasures were thoughtlessly turfed, antique padlock swept into the rubbish pail, along with the 1960 sixpence, as an example snapshot in time. I've been invited again by the same friend, now out of Geelong, to save further relics, this time, high-end audio equipment. Salvation for certain relics takes the right type of saviour, a be-bop holler-a-Lula!
Gday Gabi. Thanks for the offer of the key pattern but I don’t think I will be doing it up much more than a clean. Cool find though. Snap shots in different areas. Some bits can still be the old miners and others modern dumpers. Just depends where we go. Good luck with the audio gear. Would be wasted on me. Sounds like you’re the right person for the job. 😁👍
Love the video’s - I was curious about the Minelab Pro Swing that you did a review years ago. I don’t see you using it? Was it too much trouble to use? I was thinking of buying one, other reviewers same thing, in their newer video’s they aren’t wearing them - were there problems? Did they give out? Keep up the video’s love watching them!
There is nothing wrong with the harness. My elbow gives me grief every now and then so I where it then or if I am swinging a bigger coil. They are nice and easy to use. Had it on a few weeks ago when I was using the 17” coil on the 6000. Makes life a bit easier. Thanks for watching 😁👍
