I don't know how anybody thinks sexual harassment is a prank, it's insane and infuriating. Not to mention the poor workers who have to put up with clowns like this
Ngl though at 5:41 those kids need to be kids not stupid Jacob Satorious influencers look at the way they dress they look goofy looking like that, screams Gen Z. edit: hahaha I knew I was going to get black lash for this but ain’t it the truth though? Gen Z is the depressed generation that doesn’t even think for themselves anymore. Bunch of sheep’s riding along every trend that’s out there 24/7. Materialistic bums, these boys perfectly resemble that; dressing like all the TikTok influencers. Everybody fake these days. Riding along every damn trend. Now I know it ain’t safe to assume that these kids are just dressing because of some TikTok trend but I bet you straight up there are other kids dressing like that because there instinct is to “look like Gen Z” that’s the point I’m trying to make for those that didn’t understand my point. If your gonna dress and look good, at least have some authenticity and not be like everyone else lmao. Everybody so fake these days.
As a Starbucks worker, this is the WORST place to do this. We have rules that make it so that we cant press charges, cannot ban people, and the most that we can do is make an incident report. This girl was in a situation where she knew that she couldn’t do anything except kick him out for a day. Poor girl.
I feel like this applies to other places too, we can’t defend ourselves while working or else the company can get sued and you would lose your job. It’s also a “bad image” for the company if an employee got hurt and wanted to sue as well. It sucks. I would’ve pepper sprayed that dude.
“Whether he’s actually j3rking off or not, the effect is the same on the victim” I’m truly grateful we have a popular youtuber who can perfectly voice such things to a HUGE audience. Many of whom are exactly the impressionable youngsters, that might want to emulate such behavior. Luckily we have Charlie to say exactly why it’s still immoral and that immorality isn’t canceled out by “it’s a prank bruh”
@@unpreparedwithacapitalf Nah, he's an out of touch rich guy from a rich family and it shows in many of his videos when he covers Third World Countries judging them for tryna make money.
As someone who works for Walmart, I literally moved to overnight shifts because the treatment from customers and kids like this got to be too much. We are a smaller store too, but everyday it’s something new. We had a TikTok kid come into our store and sexually harass several female workers by filming himself going up to them with a mask on and asking if they can get him harder. They ask what cause they are obviously shocked and he pulls the mask down and rephrases it to ask where the butter is at, trying to make them think that they misheard him. He also went up to one of our cashiers and a cashier at the gas station next to us and pretend robbed them asking them to give him all the money, and when they just stand there confused and scared, he pulls his mask down and says he asked where the honey is at. The amount of shootings that happen in Walmart already puts some people in certain areas on edge and the world is getting scarier by the second. I hope this guy gets caught for what he did to that poor Starbucks employee. Edit: The fact that there are people defending this type of behavior in my replies proves my point. 💀
Fr I work at target and it's just as bad. I work the closing shift and literal herds of teenagers come in like an hour before close just to fuck around. It's so stupid.
Fuck, I worked at Walmart, and I've never felt more Uncomfortable than when a dude walked up to me and ask me, "You got/know anything that I can stick my dick into?"
6:50 - I love how the 3rd kid was smart enough to give an answer that woud likely make him leave & he really did "go to the back". So proud of that older kid there, basically protecting the 2 younger kids lol. I can't believe that little trick worked.
Sincerely Thank you Charlie, knowing that there's growing awareness of how badly we're treated by not only the companies but "customers" like this is relieving.
Yeah, it sucks, majorly. We're basically told to suck it up whenever we get verbally/emotionally/physically abused by someone, regardless of how messed up or illegal what they're doing is. I nearly got fired from my workplace because some Karen called to complain about me, claiming that I was being racist, when I said her triplets little baby clothes didn't match.
I have a part time job in the at a local supermarket. I have not seen anyone like that but we have gotten a couple of Karens here and there. The owner of the store, the managers, all of the other employees have treated me very well. I am very glad that I have never had that happy to me.

I hope he legit gets charged with some of these crimes because like Charlie said, it’s creepy and the experience for the victims is real whether or not it’s a “prank”. He’ll most likely continue going around doing it unless he realizes the seriousness of it. He needs to be held accountable for it

That Walmart employee is a legend, so professional about his job, his parents raised a fine and upstanding young man. I wish him the best! And I feel terrible for that girl working at Starbucks, that was disgusting. This "prankster" should be in jail.
I felt for the Starbucks barista, it took me straight back to working at a gas station and men being lewd or creepy for no reason. I really felt that moment when she looked around like is someone else seeing this, will someone say something, before realizing she’s alone in the situation. I’m so proud of her and impressed she said something to him because I probably would have been too stunned to speak and walked away and told someone.
That is one of the many disadvantages of working retail. People treat you as if you are garbage but they do not realize that without them they can’t get their groceries or their latte
If a customer ever has something bad to say to me, then I will have a lot to say about them. Customers have to be some of the most useless, disgusting, lazy, slobs ever.
damn thats it, you must have had it rough if that is all it takes, wow, sexual harrasment is bad, such a controversial and different opinion no one has right, like bro, everyone thinks this unless they are wrong in the head, that is the deepest bottom of the barrel, should earn you nothing more than the basic respect a human being has for living, you gotta value yourself more my guy.
Charlie's Black Shirt really conveys his emotion on the matter. Such a strong show of masculinity: not worried about showing his emotions. So inspiring.
i just felt my heart drop witnessing it. that poor employee, seriously, what he did there + all the other stupid pranks he does are actually disgusting.
The part about the experience being real for the victims is so true. There was an infamous "prankster" a few years back who decided to "prank" people by pretending to rob them with a fake knife. Of course, he ended up "robbing" the wrong person, and got fatally shot. Even if it was "just a prank, bro!", the victim doesn't know that. This guy saw someone come up to him with a blade and tell him to hand over his money, and he acted in self-defense, because from HIS point of view, he was being robbed. That's why they didn't press charges against him.
As I've seen CCTV and surveillance advance over the years, I never thought it would be people literally filming their own fucking crimes that would be getting them caught so regularly and accurately.
@YeaMan As I've seen advertising and promotion advance over the years, I never imagined it would be people voluntarily commenting on RUclips getting themselves boycotted so regularly.
I like when he's acting all hard to the Walmart employee and then tells him if he touches him he's going to sue him. There's a special place in hell for scumbags like this.
Thank you so much Charlie for bringing this up, I hate when prank channels do actual harassment or rude towards people/workers and yet nobody tells them shit, it’s really sad.
The funny thing is in his mind he thinks that made him sound tough, but it actually made him sound soft. Sue? You mean you can't handle a fight and settle it yourself?
Probably won't see this, but I want to genuinely thank you for the positive influence you've had on my younger brother this past year. I was so scared that he was starting to go down the wrong path of being cruel, offensive and bullying other people at his school, but once he started to become a fan of your videos/streams, I've seen his behavior switch. Now he thinks the things he was saying before weren't okay, and he feels remorseful for acting that way. We have a much better relationship and will casually talk to eachother about your videos sometimes when we talk. I actually enjoy speaking to him again. Just thank you so much, your presence online is such a good influence for teenage boys. Edit since people are making hurtful assumptions: I did put in effort to also push him into the right direction on my own, but I was also in a bad place mentally at the beginning of the year and the things he said were hurtful to what marginalized groups I'm a part of, so I didn't always have the mental energy to handle it. I wasn't just solely relying on RUclips to change my brother, I'm just glad that it did end up having a positive influence in the end
Great comment! Love it when youtubers actually have a positive effect on the youth for a change. Shows how they're not all bad, and some can actually be a genuine good influence like Charlie. Sometimes I think he's being a bit too critical with people, but if it's instilling good morals in kids, more power to him.
It's really awesome how Charlie has respect for people who work in the customer service industry. It's a hard job and people are not kind. I wish more people were like him
This is because anyone who treats those folks badly is punching down. The abusers should rather be "brave" and rude towards their bosses -- that could be even respectable in certain situations.
It's not awesome, it's a basic requirement to be a decent human being. On the other hand, a lot of humans don't have respect so maybe the bar is that low.
Tbh this is how normal ppl SHOULD act. Having basic respect for your fellow humans while they work is literally the bare minimum. Social media, entitlement and main character syndrome has fucked up too many ppl that being a normal human with basic morals is special.
On the other end of the spectrum I’d like to share an experience I had at work. I work at Walmart, and it’s quite the opposite of a good job. Pay is dog, I’ve been injured many times, they expect way too much of of every employee, etc. I was thinking about how terrible my job is and putting out the water pallets when a man just came up to me and said something I never thought I’d hear. He said to me,”thank you for doing the job you do. If it wasn’t for people like you I wouldn’t have any water to drink.” I genuinely smiled for about an hour after that. The little things like that really do make people’s lives better, so I encourage everyone to start trying to be more like him. I know I’ll be trying. Good luck my friends; soldier on.
Yeah there's always good people out there too. Most of my customers are sweet or at the very least aren't trying to make my life harder. It's just easier to remember the mean ones.
Yeah, same the team leads are asking too much just so they can go watch Netflix while I’m stuck in frozen doing like 6 pallets with no help. Like I got injured so much to the point where my uniform is all bloody and stuff like yesterday a group of kids trashed the candy section and stole a crap ton of candy so I had to make stolen reports and clean up their mess and then I got yelled at for not finishing my work because I had to clean and reorganize the whole candy section because some kids decided it was funny 😭😭😭😭
"I'm miserable, so why isn't anyone else miserable? You're not allowed to enjoy your day when I'm not happy! The world revolves around me!" kind of mentality. It's disgusting. ((not to mention this "clout" they all chase, but we all already knew that))
Thank you for defending retail/food service workers, we need more people like that. Last week, a small group of 20 something year olds came into the pizza bar/grill I work evenings at (hosting) and they were giving trouble to one of the other hosts, calling her a useless bitch and stuff (note: most restaurant hosts are probably 16-18 working their first jobs, so it is NEVER acceptable to speak to literal kids that way) so I figured since I'm older, I'll step in and see what's up. I could instantly tell they were just fucking around trying to be cheeky and get free stuff by complaining, they kept looking at each other and laughing their asses off. One guy leans over the counter and asks me if he could get a free cocktail, otherwise he'd blast us on Yelp for not having good service- yada yada. I bluntly tell him no, we would never offer free alcohol because XYZ policies, etc, and I told them they'd need to leave if they don't plan on sitting down and behaving. The dude calls me a stupid c*nt and notices the scars on my arms and (very loudly) tells me "your boss needs to make you wear long sleeves that's fucking nasty and nobody wants to look at that," and again cue the group laughing their asses off. By now my supervisor appears out of nowhere thank god, and kicks them out for good. Yes, he called her a bitch too. I've dealt with a lot of Karens, angry Boomers who will not take no for an answer, I've had people snap their fingers in my face like I'm a dog, even a drink thrown at me, but I have NEVER been targeted on the spot for scars on my body from a stranger just for the sake of their amusement. It hurt, and I may have cried like a bitch for a while.. Moral of the story, people like this belong in jail, they should not be unpunished. I feel horrible for the girl shown at Starbucks and the guy at Walmart, but unfortunately there are SO MANY people like this.
Fuck those people. I used to be a bouncer and those people were always cowards but I loved throwing them out. They only acted that way because they saw two women employees. If it were a large man they’d have been quiet.
i'm really sorry, i am not a retail worker but i relate to the scars situation. i feel humiliated whenever people target my scars. it's like they want us to change yet make fun of us for moving on.
As someone who has been sexually assaulted this makes me physically sick, this person needs to have charges pressed against them. There is no excuse for it.
Well just remember that penguin0 and the fair majority of his viewers has empathy, they watch his videos to shit on tiktokers/youtubers who are morally fucked
You have to remember that is the bad cases that drawn most of our attention in social media. The average person is not a saint, sure, but it is not normal to be morally corrupted. The majority of people have and are capable of empathy. Myself, other day, fainted while on the bus and people helped me get up, gave me water and a seat, showed concern for my health etc. The real problems are societal, as to how we reinforce some behaviors or not, as with empathy.
It's just an effect of media, being shown all of the bad things happening anywhere in the world, it makes you think there's more of it than there really is. We lose our humanity if we stop being able to trust and have faith in any other human beings, assume best intent
@@rockyevans1584 you need multiple angles, high def, stupid shit like that for a courtroom to make it inarguable of what this guy is doing. Student Funeral Director here, I can deny that a prank channel is not like a funeral because a funeral can lend to healing of the soul while prank channels is the equivalent of being kicked in the nuts.
@@222jackbrown There are some ethical funeral homes. Hopefully OP will be one that doesn't prey on grieving families and can promote options that don't cost tons of money and harm the environment
@Abraham Johnathan oh defiantly, I shadowed at a funeral home and I've been trying to get into the career. The industry is corrupt but a lot of the directors do care about the wellbeing of the family- Although it's still corrupt as hell
@@watsonwrote True. At the moment I'm looking for a good starting out funeral home as I'm about to graduate. I've been with a nice little one for about a year as I went to school. The best thing I can say when it comes to saving money is to go for cremation. If your loved one one wants to be buried, you should go for a preneed while they are still alive so you can figure out the most expedient way to bury them without having to embalm them. Without an embalming you should save at least $400 alone. But I really suggest having a cremation and then having a get together at your own home with people you care about, since you'd even have to pay for music (that you may have bought) to be played at the funeral. As for the environment, there has been an advancement on embalming fluids that are legitimately all-natural, making a request for a green burial is a way to limit environmental impact or opting for a tree pod can allow to help the environment even after death.
@Abraham Johnathan Hey there bro, I appreciate your insight. I don't want to type out a super long comment but I just want to let you know I get where you're coming from and I will do my best to try to be one of the good ones. Also, have you heard of Kendrick Johnson? They fucked up hard on that one.
The Walmart prank with them going into the back room is unfortunately common. I use to work at one, and people always walked back there if they didn’t see anyone. If this happens, we HAVE to STOP. Which pisses everyone off as we use a lot of heavy equipment back there that is a PAIN to stop. People who do this has a special place in hell in my book
Tbh i am pretty stupid and would probably wander in accidentally... But i would definitely quickly realised where i was and apologised before quickly closing the door..theres a reason why people say some room are staff only
@@kidmosey I don’t think that will decline the crime (shoplifting) though…in fact, it might encourage it more because the outline of the store will be commonly known as well as the policies of the store :/
I've literally had to drag people out of the backroom during COVID-19 because they found out we were keeping the Clorox wipes locked in a cabinet that we store guns and electronics in.
I love how Charlie always says to show respect to customer service workers. As a current one myself I just had my first true stereotypical “I want to talk to the manager” Karen experience today. She said she would have me fired by the end of the week for not being able to take her order as soon as she entered because I was doing something. And if she is really gonna do it she better work fast because today is Saturday.
I remember when I used to work as a driver for a FedEx contractor. Some random bitch honked at me to get my attention and asked if I’ve delivered to her house before because apparently one of her packages went missing. Like I don’t know you and I don’t remember and surely it could’ve easily been another mail service that delivered it so who am I to know? Anyways, I apparently made the mistake of saying “yes” whenever I was trying to think if I did deliver to her before and she instantly went “Awesome well you’re fired. Bye :)” and she drives off 🤣 I couldn’t even be mad because I was more dumbfounded at what just transpired lol. Told my boss and he just laughed. Of course I was never fired but eventually did quit because I was tired of getting fucked over by that job.
I had an 'Attention-seeking Jackass' exepeience in the final few weeks of my last customer service job. Dude would come in, harass employees, throw around threats and fail to steal items. Soon enough, he got banned. So, he decided to then take to standing outside the shop making rude gestures and disturbing passers by, continuing to threaten employees when they left. Keep in mind, I worked the night shifts, meaning that this lanky, pimple-faced little shit with the most unsymetrical facial hair I've ever seen was wasting his time fucking about at a Tesco's an hour before midnight. I was getting paid to be there, what was this dude's excuse?
I'll show respect, but if a service worker or anyone for that matter is being disrespectful to me I'ma be disrespectful back. I'm not gonna be respectful to you when you aren't showing me respect. I've been in contact with a lot of customer service workers who just have bad attitudes and are rude for no reason when I'm being respectful. Don't try to make it seem like every last one of y'all are victims and suffer so much because it's not everyone.
So sorry that happened to you. People treat workers in the public so poorly its insane! I havent ever met a real Karen before as an employee but have as a customer. I had an uncancelable order at Domino's on a day their staff was tweaking. They just kept accepting orders. Waited over 2 hours and on my last trip in i inquired how much longer my food would be. Nothing else. Just asking. The lady behind me that had been in there for 10 minutes couldn't stand that I asked before her. So she popped off on me. Not knowing I had been in and out for 2 hours... argument ended and it made everyone feel awkward. So I just asked to cancel and the manager just gave me some random pizzas. I felt like I was in a bad dream getting yelled at just for asking if my food was done.
My family has owned a small convenience store for 43 years and I’ve grown up around it. It was my day care and I still work there 20 years later while I’m learning to be a pilot. I think working customer service has been more frustrating to me them learning how to fly a plane lol. The things people get upset about amaze me still. Appreciate the recognition for all the customer service workers out there❤️
Difference is though is the guy pulling the pranks was messing with customer service workers in the spirit of humor, that’s much better than angry customers yelling at you over minor inconveniences. If I just got flamed by an aggressive customer, it would be a comic relief for me if someone like that guy came in right after. It’s a humorless world these days.
Worst part is the “prankster” actually stomped out a rabbit, and threatened an Asian couple saying “I would’ve bashed you skull in with this rock if you didn’t give me money”
This video reminded me of the Tik Tok “pranksters” that did weird flexible gymnastics in public. I wouldn’t know about alot of this stuff if it weren’t for Charlie’s knowledge on niche topics
I work at a Sonic and can’t express how much I felt that carhop’s pain. One time when I had just finished handing out food to a customer and I had asked for payment they reached for the center console in their car and intentionally spilled their drink so they asked for napkins and a replacement drink. I agreed but still asked for card or cash and they handed me a gift card. I went back inside the restaurant to scan the card and it had no money on it. Fearing the worst I ran back outside to the stalls to see if the car was still there but by the time I got outside, they had just left the lot and got on the road. The embarrassment I felt going back inside and having to tell my manager how I had just been fooled in to giving out a free meal. But being the great manager he was he said not to worry about it being docked from my pay since I would be short on money by the time the end of the day rolled around. I was surprised since it was a $35 order but I was grateful. Ever since then, if a customer ever hands me a credit card I have them give me their card or cash as a back up. Thankfully this same thing has not happened to anyone else at my location but I just can’t understand these people’s thought processes.
There's no thought process. They're crooks who never had their noses broken and never got put in their lane by their parents to avoid situations like this.
Ok bear with me. I might be stupid but I thought you had to pay for your food at the order window before it’s brought out to you. Is that not the case anymore? I haven’t been to Sonic in a while so I’m probably wrong.

As a Starbucks worker, this is the WORST place to do this. We have rules that make it so that we cant press charges, cannot ban people, and the most that we can do is make an incident report.

TikTok really sounds like a social disease at this point. Kids stealing cars, sexually harassing people, and pretending robberies? Wtf???

The part about the experience being real for the victims is so true. There was an infamous "prankster" a few years back who decided to "prank" people by pretending to rob them with a fake knife. Of course, he ended up "robbing" the wrong person, and got fatally shot.
Even if it was "just a prank, bro!", the victim doesn't know that. This guy saw someone come up to him with a blade and tell him to hand over his money, and he acted in self-defense, because from HIS point of view, he was being robbed. That's why they didn't press charges against him.

It's really awesome how Charlie has respect for people who work in the customer service industry. It's a hard job and people are not kind. I wish more people were like him
@Patrick39 proof it. Take a poop Infront of us.
Empathy is lacking because people can’t balance empathy with rules! So they rather go black or white forgetting there’s nuance
If it wasn’t for people like you I wouldn’t have any water to drink.”
I genuinely smiled for about an hour after that.
They expect the employees to do everything while management sits on its ass. Useless, as always.
And then everyone clapped?
Yeah, same the team leads are asking too much just so they can go watch Netflix while I’m stuck in frozen doing like 6 pallets with no help. Like I got injured so much to the point where my uniform is all bloody and stuff like yesterday a group of kids trashed the candy section and stole a crap ton of candy so I had to make stolen reports and clean up their mess and then I got yelled at for not finishing my work because I had to clean and reorganize the whole candy section because some kids decided it was funny 😭😭😭😭
I saw like two up-voted Walmart workers in this comments section back-to-back.

Y don’t u guys charge them before handing out the food?
There's no thought process. They're crooks who never had their noses broken and never got put in their lane by their parents to avoid situations like this.
