Really enjoyed the video. I loved your layman's explanation about the weather. It's especially interesting from landlocked Minnesota. I like how you two tackle all kinds of subjects and share your experience along the way. Safe travels - Geoff
Hello Nick, This is the most understandable weather outlook I can recall. Mark Nelson does a great job too, but his audience has limited detail thirst. You struck a great balance! Thanks!
Another great educational video! With the education comes the questions... What is the difference between a typhoon and hurricane? Is it just location? Thanks again for the great value, cheers!
Nice commentary and software graphics. Certainly a different kind of video, I doubt many people could compete with your weather knowledge in the cruising world. 👏👏👏
How about a full tech tour of the boat, open all the little spaces and panels, show us wiring, whats under the steps in the hulls, where and how would you put a washer dryer, more freezer etc.
Something for Q&A which I know you could explain. A basic explanation about on board electrics. Eg. You have an 850W microwave. You have an inverter and battery. How many minutes could you run it? How many interior leds could you run? How long can you operate a radar or auto helm etc. I think people could do well in understanding in simple terms how “thirsty” bits of electronics are. Cheers. Well.... it was raining here in The Bahamas now, the sun is out hot drying up alllllll that water !! That's something to worry about !!. It can turn into a tropical storm.
I’ve never been in a weather class before. Very interesting. More please.

Just a great way to get a little more info on things I wouldn’t normally ask. Thanks and hopefully you will do more like this.

Thnx for this video. Those storms over Texas put on a great light show last night!!!
Thanks Nick! We're fellow Portlanders who will be moving to St. Croix and starting our sailing! Keep it up and we hope to see you out there.
Great explanation. We’re sitting in Beaufort NC and expecting 25-35 kt winds and 5 or so inches of rain. What a way to start hurricane season!

Thanks for this. Are you a bigger fan of Windy or other tools such as Predict Wind?
