brakes pads only get wear and tear by stoping the motion of the disk rotor,holding the rotor still when its speed is 0 wont affect the life of break pads by any mean in any car but ur tip will deff improve the transmission life and clutch life and break fluid life as well but wont affect the pads at all
Bro most of us dont press breaks completely but rather let the tires slide while in drive mode. That will affect the pads wear. Hence rather than make it work better to keep the transmission in neutral

Bro sorry I wasn’t clear, at 40k mileage honday recomends to change all the oiles with break pads if they have been used roughly. This all maintenance costs around 1.5 lac. So if you care for your break pads you will easily minus 40-50k from that
