If anyone plans on making this I recommend using the NIVEA men cream container. It is already silver on the front part and the outline of the arc reactor is thin so it is easy to cut out a circle.

You can rub some rubber cement / contact cement on your chest and at the back of the arc reactor... wait 20 minutes before attaching it.
The other (painful) alternative is using.... supah glue (superglue)
