It is amazing to experience such high level of energy, clarity of sound, and intensity that Alena Baeva is capable of generating; transporting audience into the most vertiginous swirl of sound and balanced rhythm. Yet, she remains so calm and in control at all times! Except of course, when it's clear at some intervals that a break to catch her breath would be so welcome!!:). Simply Beautiful!!
Ms Baeva appears to be in a hurry to get it over with. It's still pretty good but her video of the same concerto in the Concertgebouw is much, much better than this. That performance was inspired and inspiring - better sound, better photography, better everything.
I have to agree with this. But having said so, even at this lower level (which may as noted, indeed not be actually down to her) it's going to be better than ninety nine percent of what is out there.
Такое ощущение, что присутствует желание сыграть всё побыстрее и уложиться в меньший отрезок времени. С точки зрения человеческой психологии не верно: не могут быть переходы из одного психологического состояния в другое такими одинаково быстрыми. Похоже, что она кому-то пообещала отыграть концерт побыстрее и успеть на вечеринку. :)
