You know it's a good channel when the ad is right at the end rather than smack bang in the middle of the playing
I never get tired of listening to Itzhak Perlman talk about music (or anything else, for that matter). Other than his wonderful talents as a musician, it's his sense of humor and playfulness that is the thing I think of when I think of Perlman.
Those 70's sideburns...
Perlman looks a bit like Schubert
The second I saw this, I thought the exact same!
Yeah! I thought the same!
A much chubbier one, yes.
Was literally just scrolling down the home page and saw the thumbnail...thought it was a Schubert impersonator or something 😂
And Vladimir like Alan Rickman
legend meet legend
I love videos with Itzhak Perlman....is together amazing and wonderful 🎻❤️🌹
How fortunate are we to have this 💕
They are simply stunning Performers and gigantic Artists!!! God bless them both! 🙏🙏🙏
Wow, the film quality is excellent as is the music....beautiful.
jazz part made my day
So good!
Yeah, much better than Beethoven.
Absolutely delightful. Made my day...!!
Beautiful as always
I like the recording engineer's suit...😁Very Seventies...How did people get away with that?!😚😂
So cool to watch these guys work together!
I wish Itzhak Perlman lived next door! To talk to him + ask questions, like: Who's holding the camera? Is it Christopher Nupen? Love when Ashkenazy gives that direct little smile when playing, 5:09. ❤️Itzhak + Allegro Films
Making a recording seems so comfortably natural for them...
Their recording of the Brahms is so romantic.
Very beautiful, interesting documentary 🌹 Amazing 🎻♥️
Bravo!!!
Hahah hearing pearlman vocal improv over the music is hilarious these two men are incredible
Genius !!!!
💖🌻
❤️❤️❤️🌟🌟🌟
Perlman :"should be more piano"
this time it was his idea instead of Ashkenazy 😂
👌👌
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
UN'accoppiata fantastica
Would be interesting to know when was this video recorded ...
This sonata was recorded on November 26th, 1975. All the sonatas where recorded between 1974 and 1975.
Who's the other one?
Didn't know that Andre the Giant played violin. Also, didn't know that Peter Sellers played piano :D
I've enjoyed these recordings -- then one day on the radio I heard some familiar Beethoven Violin sonata, and was amazed at how much more vivid and powerful the performance was: it was Zuckerman/Barenboim! Go figure.
Are you kidding??! Zukerman/Barenboim better than Perlman/Ashkenazy??!!! 🙄
@@Klausvans i agree with u! They dont have a chance agsinst Itzhak and Vladimir
This is broadcast from israel? when Wagner or Strauss...
Without Askenazy there would have been no Woody Allen.
