Very emotional piece. I feel up to 7:49 the composer was trying to get across that the world is sometimes a harsh and unfair place, but then following 7:49 life and the world goes on and is filled with moments of fun and joy. Only Perlman could pull of this emotional heart string.
+Íñigo Aramburu Arnaiz maybe-maybe not (he is dead now, so who knows), but that is what i interpret out of this piece.....after all, the interpretation of a piece of music varies from person to person, hence why music is wonderful and not fixed to how one should feel
Frank Robinson , Actually listen to Sarasate's own recording of the piece, available on RUclips. He plays his composition as a little trifle, a mere show piece, not intending any true musical depth in it, just heart-on -sleeve, rather superficial little piece. That said, I love this piece because I think there is room in this world for all sort of music in the classical style. And at the same time, I truly admire Perlman's rendition of this piece, how much more depth he can put into this piece and justify it all. Just amazing! Hats off to him!

Incomparable! There's no other violinist, string player, instrumentalist, or musician down here on God's blue, green, and brown Earth that even nears the virtuosity of Itzak Perlman.
+Alejandro Martinez Yes Mr. Perlman (Sir) as I call him is truly one of the greats. But also check out Maxime Vengerov. (Another absolute genius crossover for 20th into 21st century. As well as miss Kyung Wha Chung from South Korea and Hilary Hahn from Canada to just name just a few from that upper echelon that have joined the rank of truly great violinists. There ARE other violinists of that calibre at the present time. Take your time and look and listen.
+David De Verteuil . Yes, sir, there are other great violinists today and yesteryear, and hopefully, in the future, as well; but, in my quite humble opinion, none compare to Mr. Perlman, except Mr. Heifetz, Jascha. If God allows us to hear the quality of Paganinini in heaven, then we'll be able to hear the best.
+Alejandro Martinez Hi Alejandro., thanks for your lovely reply. I cant blame you for your high regard for (Sir) Itzak. There is such a long list of truly great violinists going all the way back to Nicolo Paganini. (Some silly people back then thought that he was in league with the Devil.) I just happen to be a fan of all of them including Heitfetz and Lord Menuhin. (By the way the Strad that Itzak is playing he aquired from Yehudi Menuhin after he retired. When you get a chance just check out documentary Maxime Vengerov 'playing by heart'. Goes for just a tad over 50 minutes. (I am also a big fan of Jazz music., just check out Stephan Grapelli and Yehudi Menuhin playing together.) Thanks. Dave D.V.
Thanks, Dave. How crazy is that, about Paganini?? I will listen to that Menuhin/Grapelli violin jazz duet and the Vengerov documentary, soon. I'm sure it's out of this world! &===(==OI=D) I'm sure someone out there knows how to make a violin out of alpha-numeric characters. I'm not that guy. LOL
+Alejandro Martinez Indeed, Paganini was in league with the Devil, so it is said, but Heifetz was in league with God! For perhaps the single most sublime rendition of the single most exquisite composition, listen to Heifetz playing Beethoven's violin concerto! There's nothing-and no one-comparable, I believe.

I discovered the musician just two years ago…. It was this specific recording that touched me in wanting to know more who this funny guy is….. Itzhak is a musician by nature, straight from the heart, and also very comedian in a way I immediately adopted him in my heart. Through this video I explored many more of his recordings. I really got excited when I found all kind of historic recordings of Itzhak Perlman together with….Pinchas Zukerman….( Pinky for Itzhak and friends). Very emotional piece. I feel up to 7:49 the composer was trying to get across that the world is sometimes a harsh and unfair place, but then following 7:49 life and the world goes on and is filled with moments of fun and joy.
Only Perlman could pull of this emotional heart string.
Sarasate isn't soo deep. Aires Gitanos (original name od he piece) was made as a virtuoso piece.
+Íñigo Aramburu Arnaiz maybe-maybe not (he is dead now, so who knows), but that is what i interpret out of this piece.....after all, the interpretation of a piece of music varies from person to person, hence why music is wonderful and not fixed to how one should feel
+Frank Robinson
It makes me think of cheese. I 💓 cheese!

🕊️🌿🎶🕊️🌿🎶🕊️🌿🎶🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹
Wizard! The violin in his hands comes to life and sings! Thank you for your pleasure!
When it comes to this piece, no one does it better than Perlman
Heifetz
Sohyun ko
I'd argue Sarasate himself plays it the best, but I adore Perlman's version.
Leonid Kogan did.

Mr Perlman makes many of us women tremble with emotion .....He makes love to his violin ..what a lucky violin!!....
he plays with such spirit and bravado, that it makes almost feel connected to his instrument as well as the music
How are you doing today my name is Bryan cooker
Fantástico
Beautiful music, from heaven! God bless him in a great matter. Today is his birthday. Happy Birthday Mr Perlman!
The way he holds the violin and places his thumb makes it seem like he is tickling it. Trully amazing! He is an example that violin "techniques" should be adjusted to the student's preferences.

+Alejandro Martinez
Hi Alejandro., thanks for your lovely reply.
(I am also a big fan of Jazz music., just check out Stephan Grapelli and Yehudi Menuhin playing together.)
Thanks. Dave D.V.
Thanks, Dave. How crazy is that, about Paganini?? I will listen to that Menuhin/Grapelli violin jazz duet and the Vengerov documentary, soon. I'm sure it's out of this world!

I'm sure someone out there knows how to make a violin out of alpha-numeric characters.
Brilliant
DEAR FRIENDS FROM YOU TUBE, HUGE THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL MIXs !!! GOD BLESS YOU !!! HEART GREETINGS FROM SOFIA - BULGARIA

I feel chills along my spine when Itzhak Perlman play.
This video is a masterpiece, never gets old since i was a kid.

Definitely great. ... . N. ........
on.
Perlman is such a genius with the way he plays this, I'm in love with it.
You definitely must see this recording @Itzhak Perlman and Pinchas Zukerman - Grand Duo 1….. and also Grand Duo 2.
Amazing…inspiring….impressing..all at the same time. Thank you for sharing these video’s!!
Wonderful. I don't know whether it's more delightful to watch his hands or his face as he plays. Pure magic!
How are you doing today my name is Bryan
And everywhere he came he brought joy to the wordof with his violin....🙏
👏👏👏👏 What impeccable and purity of notes he extracts from his finest fiddle. Has been considered the best violinist today, or at least, he was one of the best ever. My sincere congratulations Mr. Pearlman. 👌👌👌
What a wonderful performance ! He is no doubt one of the finest violinist#s we have had and thank you Itzhak.

If there ever was a person qualified for "Person of the Century" here he is.
Dr. Albert Schweitzer might give him a bit of competition: ruclips.net/video/EXpiJOUZh2g/видео.html
In the hands of Perlman while playing this piece, the Stradivarius is no longer only a wonderful (and ridiculously expensive) violin. It is transformed into a really bad-ass Stradivarius fiddle! 🎻🤹🖤💃
It's a guarnerius del gesu
Smooth like butter ... ☺ I have never seen someone play the violin with such ease as Itzhak, no matter what he plays. Just wonderful. 😍
Absolutely AMAZING, heartfelt performance of a DIFFICULT piece!! Bravo, Mr. Perlman! You are one of my favorite violinists, and the only one I've seen live in concert, (with the Oregon Symphony, in February of 2009.)
His playing is unearthly! Just imagine if this was recorded using a modern HD camera, my phone would implode from beauty!
June 2019 still watching him the best in the world 🌎.
Beatiful Melody .Perlman IS a great violinista.Thankyou.
Oj serce 💓💓 się rozpływa w dźwiękach,. Dzięki
Good heavens...that is an Angel playing.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌹❣
