- In BBCC, right in the heart of KL City we will discover how Peter sacrificed his lavish income and lifestyle to pursue his higher calling.
With the goal of educating the younger Malaysians about personal finance, he started his RUclips channel MrMoneyTV and it has became one of the most popular personal finance related channels.
As we walked around BBCC, we experienced the convenience of living within a mixed development connected to 3 different public transportation system while thinking how do we strive further in trying to break the poverty cycle with Malaysian families.

I listen to both of their podcast every day. Now watching them together in one video and speak mandarin is just too amazing
Yea. A little twist in flavour hahaha=)
Thank you boss for having me
Sama-sama:)
I can feel how struggle you guys trying to communicate in chinese🤣
Being from KL, i thought speak cantonese. 😄
Mr money sounds native tho
Wow I’m impressed with both of your Chinese. My first time seeing Peter speaking Chinese too. Enjoyed the video. Keep it up 👍🏻
Thanks you so much Marilyn. I really appreciate the kind words=)
Thank you Sean for this interview with Peter!
It is really inspiring to see both of you are working toward the goal of improving financial literacy among Malaysians and help the younger generations.
One thing that really resonates with me is when Peter talks about his wife seeing him happier when he is doing his Mr Money TV business. I felt the same way too!
Keep up with the good works! 😄
The shot, the take, the cue really on point. Superb production team you got Sean
Yea. It was arranged by the team and I deserve no credit for it. This bunch of people are pros!! So proud to be part of it:)
I don't understand mandarin but read thru the translation and watched the whole video. Overall, I enjoyed your conversations. Definitely true what Peter said someone will stand out better if s/he do well in his/her life doesn't matter where s/he come from either in rich family's background or vice versa.
Appreciate it Afdhol!! Yea we insisted to have subtitles=)
On point. I love how openly you share your views. No doubt there was a lot of material left on the cutting room floor. I can safely say both of you contributed a lot to my own financial literacy. Keep going and bridge that gap. You have my full support.
I appreciate that Hazim. Thanks for watching!!
Great collaboration, hopefully in future seeing more cross-over of local Muslim, Chinese and Indian RUclipsrs contents on your channel. Keep up the good work 😃
That's a superb idea!! Let me go research!!

Definitely not something easy to drop the "metal rice bowl" and move on for the hustling, especially when you have a family! Truly hope for a better generation next, keep up with the good work.
2 of my favourite finance youtuber , ngeh ngeh speak Chinese quite entertaining hahah
Yea, a different challenge to both of us. Thanks for watching Kekman=)
Really love this episode, quality and inspirational contents within the same video.. keep up the good work!
Glad you enjoyed it Joseph!!
So touching this episode. Almost cried….
Yea. He is really doing his best in helping the youth of Malaysia. Thanks for watching 😁
Your usual content is already very good, but this one is another level man
Glad you think so Thetapltr. I worked really hard on these series hahaha=)
This is awesome piece bro!! Keep it up with great quality content like this.Kudos to u both:):):)
Indeed a humble sharing by both parties. Enjoying the frank chats of you both.
Appreciate the kind words. Thanks for watching!!
This was great! Very impressed with the interview flow and the production quality.
Thanks for watching 😁
BBCC looks amazing. Its so modern. I am so jealous. I wish I can move to Malaysia.
If you know what sat on this site formerly you might have a change of mind 🤣🤣🤣
I thought about it too. It's just like Bandar Utama, Sunway Pyramid area, Mid Valley, and etc... not many can tell the original usage or condition of the land now actually haha. So I'm really curious in 10-15 years time, things most likely will change.
I live in North Carolina in the US and its not even close to anything like BBCC. I just think that Malaysia will be an up and coming place for many people to move to. It has good weather, low cost of living, and diversity. Singapore is too small and I can see that major corporations will think about establishing their presence there since Singapore cannot handle additional growth.
@@tupaiking9136 bro, mind elaborating more?
@@jm0402 Ever heard of Kajang prison? 🤣
I can't sit to listen to both of you speaking mandarin. But it's amazing!
:)
Heyyy!! two of my favourites in one same video!!
...wait, u both can speak Chinese???!?!!?!?!?!!?!??!?!?!?
owh! Sean's taking shape from all the workouts! 💪💪💪
Thanks for noticing CS!! I've working really hard, both physically and my command of language:)
Great video of the day. Thank you for such a high quality video! 谢谢Sean! 🙏🏻
Totally different way of presenting the contents. 😎👍🏻 Never thought MRMoney can speak quite good mandarin
Exactly!! Thanks for watching Benzee;)
Even though I'm a banana, it's actually quite amusing watching this in Mandarin. Lucky got great subtitles!
Thanks for watching Kei!!
The irony is that people who need public transport the most cannot afford properties that have great access to it.
That statement is only half true as it's made based only on this video. The real irony is MRT/LRT is not really affordable also to begin with. I think it's for the convenience of moving people around the city.
I said hi to both of you that morning, lol. Great interview!
Hey hey!! Thanks for saying hi Eric. Should have put you in the video too hahahaha=)
Love this new series of yours Sean keep up the good work !!!
Glad you enjoy it Zheng Yong!! Yea I worked really hard for these=)
Mr Money speak awesome Mandarin while Sean, I have been following your Channel since Cheryl's interview.
Thanks for watching David!!
12min, Peter is so right. Yes, Malaysian in general really lack of financial knowledge, even the most basic credit card knowledge also not that familiar. Even my colleagues, friends and parents, only minimum of them knowing how to utilize Credit Card, zero instalment, cash advance, etc. Most of them don't even own a credit card.
Can further elaborate any more function we can utilise credit card..?
I for one a 61 years grandmother never own or use a credit card, working very hard in NZ as a Health care assistant hoping to save enough money to buy my own property n KL when I reach my retirement age 65. Keep up the good work Sean!!💗
Such a great conversation (even from just reading the subs)
Thank you soooo much Bashirul!!
i'm old but also learning from both of you youngster 😄
Let's strive towards our goals Poey!! Thanks for watching=)
Sean has bulked up a lot. Love to see it
Very good video and interview. Appreciate it. Thank you.
Why are you doing this episode in Putonghua? Sponsor's requirements? Can imagine much better chemistry between you two if this is in English.
Both trying out different things. Plus we have made several videos together in English many times=)
Nampak nice tibe2 diorg ni borak dalam cina.👌🏽👌🏽
Hahahahha.
We’re unique in our own Malaysian way! ✊🏽🇲🇾❤️
Is that guy Malay? His Mandarin is very good.

Hi, I am a primary school teacher. Love to watch your episode. Is there any chance to invite both of you to give a talk to my school students? 1500+ students
Wow both of you can speak Mandarin?! Plsssss do another episode in English !!
Haha. Let me call him.
wow i know sean can speak chinese, but mr money tv can too? impressive
Right?? hahaha. That's the reason for the arrangement=)
Thanks for watching CL!!
😂didn’t expect to watch an episode with mandarin speaking jiayou iherng
Hahaha!! Thanks Henry:)
But interesting discussion about how upbringing affects mentality towards wealth. My secondary school friends from less wealthy backgrounds are in vastly different positions now compared to the college friends that already drove luxury cars to college (i.e. rich parents). There is really no point lamenting about how others have it better (it sucks but it is what it is), what's more important is to focus on what you can do to make things better for yourself.
You should do a Collab with financial faiz also.
how is that a question? Buying a luxury car is alr a waste of money.
Wish it was in English 😢
Well this was our attempt to try something new. Maybe I'll get him onto my podcast again:)
Location is right at the previous pudu jail?
Yupe. But I would recommend to check out the actual site if you're considering yea=)
Thanks for watching!!
Might be bum into scary situations if staying there?
Hen hao👍
looking Buff 💪
i would, but 1st step - get a BMW
Hahahahahaha 🤣
i know its really great u guys are speaking in chinese. but just saying la.... this video could have gotten at least half a million views if u guys kept it to english.

Speak english better.. Then use chinese subtitle.
Thanks for watching=)
Actually is it possible or try to be more Malaysian, like mix Chinese, Canto, English and Malay.
