In my opinion what separates you from many other RUclipsrs that do sport bike rebuilds is that you really put love into those bikes as if you were to keep them, you buy original parts from the manufacturers, you don’t cut any corners because “who is going to see that if it’s down there?!”., you put the work and money to make those bikes look and feel like new again. Great job, keep it up CJ and congrats on hitting 50K subs! 👊🏻✊🏻

Always a good day when CJ uploads been waiting to see this one! Tough break on the screen - Does take some practice to get the OCA and all that glass off without damaging the LCD but lessons can be learned if you ever encounter it again or just omit the headache and take it to a specialist :D

I have a 2016 Yamaha R1 Anniversary Edition. I still have my previous bike a 1996 Suzuki GSXR-750 but it no longer runs. Some type of electrical issue completely dead. Your videos are inspiring me to take a crack at getting it back up and running. Keep up the good work!!!

Man i'm willing to bet there's a company out there that can remove boards/memory etc. from that dash to get your mileage, I've seen things from Samcrac who fixes cars and he's sent ECU's away that were toast and they come back fixed. I'm in the UK though so I couldn't recommend any sorry!
Unfortunately its very expensive,and i think the purpose of these series is to rebuild the bike as low-cost as possible

You're probably right! My biggest enemy is time for this build. I would rather spend a lil extra to fix this than have you guys wait forever for the dash to be recovered. Much appreciated non the less I will continue to look into it 👊

You definitely got a short somewhere. I would say check front turn signal wiring and check if wiring in tailight is correct before adding another fuse. Glad to see the R1M starting to get some real shape
