- When it comes to "cuteness" few cars can match the MINI Cooper. With its subcompact dimensions and cheerful styling this little guy is like a kitten in a teacup except it doesn't hiss or scratch and it can't infect you with toxoplasmosis.

Craig does the best reviews. His similes are sizzling and his alliteration is astounding.
And for some reason when you tell cat owners that they've likely been infected with toxoplasmosis they get very defensive and somewhat hostile (which only adds further proof that they've been infected). Oh yeah and their jackets are usually covered in cat hair during the winter too.
Brian cooley, carlos lago and this guy would be a perfect trio for top gear us.
Very good review! The dealership I work at just got in one of these on trade with extremely low miles. The previous owner didn't drive it at all. I'm in the process of getting the car for myself. It's a really cool car!
i love the window switches as toggles. that way your rght hand is already down there for shifting and, since its your expendable hand, you can always keep your left hand on the wheel where it is when youre shifting..

This review was awesome! At first it seemed a little off, but the guy is super like-able and the dialogue was hilarious if you listened closely!

I have just found my dream car outside a gas station in Norway.It was a Mini Cooper station wagen like,with twin doors back -but I can not remember the other model name -so i can`t find it on internet? the name starts with Ha or Ma? I think,and sounds very British -please help!

Why the US F56 MINI Weighs More than the Euro F56
One of the first questions I asked the MINI engineers present at the recent F56 MINI launch was about weight. The European F56 has lost weight compared with the R56, where the US-spec cars gained 60 and 90 lbs between the Cooper and Cooper S. While there’s much more standard equipment on the US cars as compared to the R56, they said that much of that new weight was from three US market changes to the F56:
Two additional airbags at knee-level
Massively reinforced B-pillars, designed for the NHTSA’s new rollover standards
A larger, more substantial A-pillar airbag system.

the mini cooper s pricelist here in italy cost 25,945.. plus this,plus that, plus those until the real price reach up to the roof, it's like buying flintsore car for 26K, and if you want it to become mini cooper s u gotta pay for another tens of thousands

Don't let the cute looks fool you. This car is a handful in terms of maintenance and reliability. VERY expensive. You can't treat it like it's a Honda or a Toyota where you just replace the oil and drive it to 100k miles. The MINI requires crazy attention. But back to the topic, the reviewer is one of my favorites. Quite a witty guy.

Review the base model. That's what we care about. Less weight on the front axle. Plenty of torque. Should sounds loads better than the 4. I really thought the S would have an uprated 1.5. It makes 220hp in the i8, probably uses a similar transmission.
Mind I still like the fact you don't see any Twingo Rs Gordini any where. Love the new mini but give it a few months they're be everywhere

134hp base model with 3cylinders can hit 60mph in 7.4? I've seen publication say it's closer to 9 seconds.
Holy balls this one's going to be expensive.

Your getting that as your first car? that's lucky! in the UK if we got that at 17 we would get refused insurance or they would completely rob your pockets. So when i can afford a car it will probably be no more powerful than the blender in the kitchen :(

The defining feature of the mini cooper is its small size. It pisses me off that they increase it. I might have to get an older model...I want the mini cooper to squeeze between rush hour traffic and still go the speed limit.

I don't get why people hate the toggle switches so much?
How can the company's slogan be "not normal " when they got rid of all the cool features and interior nuances that made it not normal? Sticking with my 2005 copper S convertible thank you very much. Will buy a new one when they start making the mini us mini fans love.

I'm I the only one who likes the new mini. The cooper 1.5 litres 3 cylinder 136 bhp 0-62 7.9 that's quicker than my Twingo Rs & it does 50 mpg plus nearly 60 mpg while the cooper s does about 47 mpg that's pretty amazing with the power your getting
