    Looking good doc. What changes do you make when converting plant growth energy into pumpkin growth energy. I have a big beautiful plant with a fruit just creeping along?

      I try to terminate some growing tips on my secondaries. I also start pushing more phosphorus and potassium in my fertilizer than before.

    Good stuff and appreciate the motivation. Its easy to get discouraged when things dont go your way. And there are always a few twists and turns even on the good years!

    what a clone mean? same seed as you use before?

    • @docrodebaugh
      @docrodebaugh  2 года назад

      The clone plant is grown from a cutting taken from a plant last season. I overwintered that cutting and made more propagations from it as it grew. This plant is a product of that exercise.

      It really hasn't been done before at this level and intensity. So far, Ruby is greatly exceeding my expectations.
