I don't see anything wrong with taking it. He just took too long to retreat the queen after he took it. Once he retreat he just focus on forcing exchanges to remove whites advantage in attacking. That center pawn white has that is isolated from other pawns is weak. And the corner one too. He knew it was bait so he shouldn't have stayed there. Especially after magnus pushed the pawn two squares to give room for the rook.

According to the engine, taking the pawn (10...Qxc3+) was an inaccuracy, but far from losing.
The main mistakes were the so very natural looking:
13...Nf6, adding a defender to the king side,
and the nail in the coffin:
15...Kh8, getting the King out of the way of white's Rook on g3.

Just a guess, but after Qf3 the queen has access to the g4 square if black moved the knight to g1 to defend the h3 pawn. Why in Queen's Gambit on Netflix are the cameras more on the faces, than on the board during games? Because we are enthralled by the players, rooting for them, cheering for them, idolizing them. Most people following these games, have no ability whatsoever to understand the chess moves without the aid of live commentators like David Howell. You can still see the board perfectly well, but having the focus on the players faces, you can connect what is being broadcasted from the broadcasters, with minor changes in the demeanor of the players themselves. They are not quite motionless. They show distinct emotion according to the game situation. :)

@@Effortlessful Who on earth follows chess without knowing the significance of the moves? Are you one of those people? Why do you care about the game itself if you don't care about the moves. You don't watch soccer or basketball for the player's face, you watch for the goals and baskets. Their faces are expressionless anyway. Come on man

Would appreciate if the title didn't say too much about the result. But this is the time of click baiting so understand why.

Why give us a huge side-view of the players and just a tiny board covering only an 8th of the screen? This layout makes no sense.

Duda calculated that every line resulted in him losing so there was no point in playing on. Magnus' attack was too strong.

And this is so simple and logical, 1) come on boy, make your queen useless on the left side of the board and get a free pawn! 2) attacking your king side now, you're doomed!
