    Thank you. Pachai karpuram is used in traditional sweets to give beautiful fragrant and also 14:43 to give sweets longer shelf-life if it has dairy ingredients (milk/ghee), especially if there's no fridge facilities in hot/humid weather 🙂

    Jeera is tamilized version of Hindi “ Sheera”.
    We usually call it Kesari since we add kesar for colour

      Sri Rangam temple follows only "Hindi" Sheera rather than "Tamil" Kesari

    Dear Sir you mention 5 -6 grams of camphor, I put 2.5 grams and it was so bitter I had to through it out. Also the rava was a bit chewey, what do I do? I imagine i cooked this for 30-45 minuets.
