Good video. That's a good tip for cutting out the heat shield on the mx pants. I'm a newb to the sport of bmx and I found it difficult to find pants that were bmx specific. Guess I should've looked at the fly racing line a little harder.

When I first started racing in 1987 I wore gumboots, a pair of track pants, a jumper, gardening gloves and an open face helmet. I looked like my family were poor and it hurt when I crashed. These days I wear full matching gear, jersey tucked in, proper shoes, gloves, helmet, shin/knee pads. I look good, feel good and it hurts less when I crash haha.
