Your question is valid my friend. I’ll explain what I learned, but please do not take this as preaching. I lost my 19 year old son to a drug overdose. The pain is indescribable. Shortly after I walked into a book store and asked God or maybe the universe, to show me why this happened. I was drawn to the new age section, particularly NDE’s. I had been reading and studying them since Dr Moodys book came out in the mid seventies. To make a long story short, this took me on my spiritual journey that I’ve been on for over 20 years. I firmly believe that in our present life, the entity known in this life as my son Alex, agreed to suffer so that I would begin my journey. So IMO, not only do things happen for a reason, but are often planned for our benefit. God bless you on your journey.
I hope you find your peace. But this doesn’t make sense, since it seems “the other side” is where we come from and where we return to. NDE’s never give a good reason for having to suffer and go on a “spiritual journey”. They say it’s for “learning and development” but they never say why that’s needed in the first place, since we come and go from the same place on the other side. It’s almost as if there’s no reason for it (and some NDE’s imply this saying it’s just an experience and there’s no real reason)… so it’s almost likened to a movie or video game, where you go through it and then when it ends you just go back to normal life on the other side
@@jheize2907thank you for the peace. I certainly don’t pretend to know all the answers but I do believe we choose to come to this dimension in order to experience all forms of life. Suffering as well as joy. If we just stay on the other side it would take much longer to progress and learn. When we return to our spiritual side it’s as if we were in a play or movie as you said. This is not real. Just a school to learn. For what overall reason I have never heard anyone say. But, for now, it enough for me. Peace to you as well
No one is questioning why God/Jesus won't let us know that there is, in fact, life after death... Why do we need to suffer loosing our love ones for indeterminate time. If He is a God of love, joy etc etc seems He likes making us suffer in vain... Some things doesn't make sense, also these testimonials...
I have objectively reviewed about 4k unbiased, (no bibles' religion book sales seminars etc.) after death testimonies. It is definitely real experiences that are happening. we are here to learn from our experiences and to fulfil an agreement made before birth. Good and Bad happen for good reason and we all learn from our experiences. We never really die, only our bodies do. Heaven is real, we are here to learn humility, compassion, love and forgiveness and treat every one the way we want to be treated. we are given FREE WILL to make choices and that's why both good and bad thing happen. Many times WE make those choices. Its like every little thing we do affects other events and it causes a ripple effect. And every interaction each thought or words effects others again with w ripple effect
Yes, it makes me uneasy that it should be hidden or so difficult to communicate. It makes me thing the afterlife, if it exists, must be like a mix of Total Recall and Bedazzled.

We have free will in this world, and we can make a mess of things.
Let go of your limiting Christian views. Every religion is limiting, go beyond and don't identify with it.
