30 years ago, my 2 year old daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia. I remember falling asleep a few nights after that and crying so hard in my sleep that I half woke myself up. I remember thinking how loving it was that my husband was stroking my hair and shushing me back to sleep. I drifted back to sleep. The next morning I thanked him for comforting me, he looked at me in a confused way and said “I never comforted you, I didn’t wake up last night”. I remember even now, the fingers that stroked my hair gently and the voice that shushed me back to sleep. The one person who would always do that, was my Mother who had died the year before my daughter got sick.

I’ve not had a NDE. After my mother died she came to me in a very vivid dream. Felt different from any other dream before it since. She told me she was fine, I said I miss you, she said “I know, because every time you miss me I feel warm where I am”. I felt the truth of this.

I had a similar experience with my grandmother. I asked her if she could visit my dreams right after she finally passed, and I could swear I heard either "Okay (my name) or "Hey (my name)." It was like a whisper. Then, not long after, I visited her place again for a family reunion, and I slept on the couch. I had a ... Dream? Of me literally sitting on that couch with her by my side. It was so clear, but I don't remember all of it. What I do remember is that she said she was a guardian now.

I had the same experience with my father. The dream from start to finish remains vivid. My father returned and said " I just came back to let you know I love you." I knew I was dreaming throughout the entire experience, and yet it absolutely was not the same as a dream. Once I had this experience I was able to accept his death ( a suicide), and ever since that time, losing someone close has been much easier as I accept that death is not the end.

I had that EXACT same experience with my step-father, with whom I was very close. And I am 100% positive this was not a dream because I could plainly hear his voice and smell his clothes and we had a long discussion. I tried to tell a couple of people about it but struggled to describe it with words and people looked at me like I was crazy. I've never spoken about it since.

My mother had a NDE just after I was born I was the last of four. As we grew and could understand we were told in great detail her experience, she did not share this information outside of our family. This would be in 1956, she got great comfort over time especially the book life after life she was not so crazy after all. When she did pass, I was sound asleep woke up startled and blurted out to my spouse whom I woke up, from someone or something doing a raspberry in my ear my mom is dead. The phone rang with a nurse calling to tell us, I was chuckling my mom was full of life and loved to scare us half to death as much as she could. Bet the nurse had no idea. As a nurse on trauma and ICU for more than 30 years, many strange events, stuff if you talk about it people give you the look. I have had the privilege of being with a lot of people holding their hand at the point of death. You know something has left. I don't fear death never had because my mom told us not to

I am 64 I was raised to be very religious. I have never had an NDE, my wife passed away 6 years ago at age 49. about a year ago I fell asleep on the couch and I had a lucid dream, I remember looking up seeing her standing behind the couch, I put my hand on her side. She was wearing a dark blue dress with small white flowers her hair was shoulder length and very blonde her face shown with a brilliant bright light that I could not make out features but could tell that she was extremely beautiful. She took my hand from her waist and held my hand in hers and for a split second I could almost feel her skin and woke up sobbing, tears streaming down my face. My hand that held her hand was clenched tight. For the next minute or so, I felt an energy field around that till it gradually came back to normal. The whole probably last for a few seconds. Was it just a dream, I don’t know, if it was one like I have never have had before. I consider myself a spiritual agnostic I am done with mythology and religion. If a deity asked how to perceive them, I would say just show me what is.

I have had a similar experience. I've told three people (whose spiritual - not religious) views match my own. Each one's reaction was, "That was not a dream; it was a visitation." I believe they're right. The intensity and clarity was far beyond any dream I had had before then and in the years since. I hope you come to consider yourself very fortunate to have had that wondrous experience!

I think that there are four levels!! My NDE was traumatic! I did not see Heaven nor Hell. I popped out of my body and sat there maybe 8 feet away, trying to put the pieces together. It was as if my IQ dropped significantly. When I finally realized I was dead, I freaked out and stood up, went over to my body and kept laying down inside of myself over and over trying to reconnect until I finally snapped back into place.
This experience messed my head up for almost a year and I couldn’t tell anyone about it because I was so scared I’d get locked up in a psych ward!! It was only around a year later when a NDE experience came up here on RUclips. I was hooked! I’ve listened to hundreds of peoples stories, trying to find answers.
Going back to that night, days later I was at work, if just left the office and was walking through the warehouse when I felt my spirit trying to separate from my body. I froze in place, scared out of my mind, willing my spirit to stay connected. About a week or two later the same thing happened as I was driving down a highway. Thankfully, it has not happened since then.
The only proof I have if this is from my dog. When I had left my body and was sitting there, my then puppy came into the kitchen, looked right at me, whimpered then hung her head. She was the reason I got up and went over to my body and forced my way back in. To this day, if anyone is on drugs, she will growl and bark at them. She knows what happened and since then, she is anti-drug. As I am now as well!!
I even tested her a year later. The next summer I was working in my garage when I came across some of my party supplies. She was chasing squirrels in the back yard. Just as a test, I put an item of paraphernalia up to my lips and she came running over to the garage door, barking at me with her hackles raised and I swear, it felt like she was telepathically telling me not to do this.
    I believe in God now!
I believe in the spirit world!!

I've had an out of body experience like yours, but I did it on purpose through meditation. You don't have to be dead to have one. There are many levels of consciousness. Some say it's as if we tune into the level appropriate to use. The first level seems close to the physical world. You can see your room etc. when your consciousness disconnects from the physical form as you did. In my experience, I was calm, the environment was very quiet, the light was a dull bluish twilight even thought it was night, I felt alert, and I could see my room. After a short time, I became aware of my body and phased back.

Well, I know what my mother would say about your experience:
"In the beginning time dogs spoke like you and I. They were sent by the Great Spirit to be counselors for human beings, to guide them and to teach them to be worthy of the next world. This is because dogs are very wise.
But the human beings would not listen to the dogs. They laughed at them, and picked on them because they were smaller than humans, and did not live as long. The humans often abused the dogs.
The Great Spirit was angry and called the chief of the dogs to council. He told the chief of the dogs that humans did not deserve to benefit from the dogs’ wisdom, and he would call all dogs to the next world, so they would not have to suffer at the hands of the humans. The humans would have to get along as best they could without the wisdom.
The chief of the dogs pleaded with the Great Spirit to change his mind, because in spite of the abuse, the dogs loved the human beings. The chief of the dogs was sure that in time humans would learn what the dogs had to teach them, and they would stop the abuse and prepare themselves for the next world.
The Great Spirit did not think humans would ever learn, but he respected the chief of the dogs’ counsel. He decreed that the dogs could remain with the people, but because they scoffed at wisdom, humans would never again in this world be able understand the speech of dogs, nor would dogs be able to speak to humans in their language. The dogs would have to teach the humans as much of their wisdom as they could without speaking. The chief of the dogs agreed.
And so, the dogs went on, choosing the humans they would try to teach, and they do so to this day. When it is time for a dog to pass into the next world, he does not do so immediately. He waits at the trailhead of the spirit path for his chosen human. Then as they both walk the path to the next world, the dog, now able to speak to humans, explains what he was trying to teach while they were both in this world. He teaches the human being how to stand in the presence of the creator of all things, and how to act as a spirit being. He encourages him to walk bravely into the next world, and not to be afraid.
When a dog that loves you passes from this world, do not be sad for long. He waits faithfully at the trailhead and has much to say to you. Try to learn as much wisdom as you can between now and then so you can easily learn what he will teach you along the spirit path."

After my NDE - I was very depressed for about three months , in large part it was because I felt somehow “ slighted or cheated “ by my existence in this two dimensional world.after having the experience of seeing the reality that awaits each of us when we leave this place. One of things I’ll say is that as a Christian I began to read scripture differently, I really began to understand Paul’s 1 Corinthians writhing about LOVE . I remember reading this scripture verse and expierencing what Paul was saying. He starts by saying “ Love never ends “. And after a long description of describing what love is and what it isn’t . He ends by saying, “ And these things remain faith , hope & love but , the greatest of these is Love . Because Love never ends . I can tell you the one thing that you will take from here to there is Love . Faith & hope will pass away because it will no longer be needed . But , Love transcends the world and is in the heart of God’s creation.

This break my heart!!! I am a drug addict. I am addicted to Heroin. I WANT to stop! I have been to rehab a whopping 15 or 16 times! And please don't see that as someone who has just given up. Please see it as.. someone who is desperate to put this addiction in the ground! I have BEGGED God to take this from me. To heal me of this addiction. I will wake up, be dope sick (Opiate withdrawal), lie to parents to get money, get heroin, use, feel terrible because I have sinned, beg God and the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive me and save me, tell Him that I have failed Him again. That I have used and lied and schemed, and I am SO so sorry!!! Then.. I swear it off and say I'm never going to do it again. Make plan to quit, say "Ok I'm gonna do this! I don't care how sick I get! I'm going to ignore the cravings, ignore the sickness, and tough it out!". I go to sleep, wake up.. and you know the rest. Again and again and again.. it just keeps getting worse and worse! I BEG God over and over again to forgive me. For the Lord Jesus Christ to save me once again, because I did willful sin, and I lost my salvation (Yes you CAN forfeit your salvation!). I do this every.. single.. day! I don't want to lie to my parents. I don't want to disobey my Father in Heaven. I don't want to disobey my Lord Jesus Christ! I can't stop! I keep trying and trying, and nothing seems to work. I have some medicines that KIND OF help. I mean.. they're no Suboxone or Subutex. But they do a little. A itsy bitsy bit. I have been praying for the Lord to get me some Subutex so I can have the BEST chance at quitting this. If I could just get a measly 2 weeks worth of subutex, I could finally destroy this thing. I am just so so sick of this 😢 I WISH so so bad that I could be like one of those people I keep hearing about who say that the Lord had taken their addiction from them. And that it was 100% instant and/or painless. No withdrawals. No sickness. No cravings. Just 100% HEALED! Why? Why won't He take this from me? I am losing my mind trying to stop this. I have been visited by demons in my sleep. Like.. BLATANT demons. Have been levitated in bed.. my arms and legs rising up. Saw a floating demonic head that appeared right over my face, close enough it could of kissed me. Even spoke to me and said.. "Call me!". It had a "V" shaped crown.. not ON its head. But GROWING from its head (I saw cartilage). What am I going to do!? I dunno how to stop. Even now.. as I write this.. I am being tempted to go do it all over again 😢 I hate myself. I really truly do. I hate my life, what I have become. Please Lord God have mercy on me! 😢

When I was in my late 20’s I was meditating frequently. There were a few days in a row where the practice was taking me to a very blissful state. On the third day, I was in that state again, and out of nowhere I could see two little beings about 10 ft away from me by my front door (my eyes were closed but somehow I could see). They were floating off of the ground, they were the size of 2 year olds, and they were so excited that I could sense them. Everything was in shades of blue and green btw. Their energy was intoxicatingly giddy. And I could feel their thoughts. In that realm you can’t lie. You just feel what others feel. I couldn’t tell if these giddy little beings were male or female but it felt like there was masculine and feminine emanating from them. Also, their faces were blurry. After they realized I could sense them, right away they wanted me to meet someone. Right then my daughter, who wasn’t born yet (my wife was 3 months pregnant with her at that time) appeared just in front of me off to my left. She looked like she was 20 years old, a little over 5’ tall and she had long brown hair down to her butt. Everything was still in shades of blue and green but I could still see that her hair was brown. Her face was blurry too. I’m not sure if I spoke out loud or not, but I said “Hi Evelyn. Or whatever your name is.” Because that’s the name we had chosen. Immediately the experience ended. I think my communication took me out of the state. I didn’t get a chance to feel anything from Evelyn like I did those cute little beings by my front door. It was the most beautiful experience of my life. And I’ve had many beautiful experiences.

I was visited by my first child about 6 weeks before his birth. He appeared as a three or 4 year old child and he was standing by my bed. He was very impatient to be born. I told him it was not time yet, and to go back. I still remember exactly how he looked and I powerfully felt his disappointment. When he reached the approximate age that he was in that dream or vision, he actually looked exactly as I had seen him. I had also dreamed about him about a week before his birth. In it I saw a physical issue that he would have at birth, that would require surgery to address. When the nurses pointed it out to me, I wasn't distressed because there was acceptance and no surprise or undue concern. My mother who I had shared that dream with, was stunned that things were exactly as I had told her. I also knew he was naturally gifted to play piano which certainly became apparent years later, very shortly after starting piano lessons.
We existed spiritually before we gained our bodies, just as we will continue to exist after we are separated from them.

20 years ago I did something stupid and ended up flatline. I had an NDE on the side of the road. In the hospital, I coded 7 times. I'd die and they'd jumpstart me.
On the side of the road I stood in front of two beings. I was not formally introduced but understood them to be my maker and his voice. (I am of no religion but have been to every major religion's church and studied them in college.) I place no religious context here, I am just sharing my experience. The voice spoke to me and showed me what was in front of me. Without details I will say that it was startling. It was a wakeup call to stop behaving the way I was at that time - driving too fast, hanging out with the wrong people, etc. I knew I was in the wrong but did these things anyway. Everyone around me knew it was only a matter of when including myself. I didn't care. I was separated from my wife and just didn't care. Not suicidal but not trying to prevent it either. I got a second chance. Again, without too much detail as there is much more to the story, THEY sent me back to try again.
In the hospital ... I coded 7 more times. Each time they would give me a jump. One of those times I had the light and a figure standing in that light. The figure reached out to me. All I had to do was take the hand and I was going to go with this figure. We all know what this meant and so did I. I stopped ... I heard my mother telling me she loved me. I came back to her. I have told her about this.
One of the other times I don't recall going to the other side but I DO remember coming back. I was face down in a silver table. There was a shallow pool of water I was lying in. They were hooking electrodes to me. One person left the room with two remaining. One, putting the electrodes on me, was a female and I asked her how she got into her profession in an attempt to keep them from killing me. Yes, I thought they were trying to kill me. They weren't. They were hooking me up to see if my vitals were okay!!!
Lots more details. I was close again eight years later. West Nile Virus infection, meningitis, encephalomyelitis and Guillain-Barre Syndrome at the same time. A 50/50 gamble saved my bacon. STILL walkin and talkin twelve years later.
    Peace everyone. Enjoy your life!!!

I had an experience like an NDE without the death.
I was awake but resting and a presence entered my consciousness and it shared my thoughts and knew exactly what my thought was before I thought it. It answered before I asked questions. It was very powerful but not scary. When it arrived I was on notice that it was there and as I observed it’s presence it made me not afraid. It wasn’t overly loving or kind but benevolent. It was in control
of me in every way except I was still able to be me. It “took” me up to the sun very close and I thought the sun would burn me and my eyes and it telepathically said it cannot hurt you because you are not in your body. I tried to ask more questions but it telepathically said enough for now. I was not afraid to die afterward and still not. Dying yes but after no. I hope that helps someone. ❤

    TO THE PROFESSOR
    RE: RECALL OF NDE
There absolutely IS a relationship between what happens to the patient, and whether they can recall their NDE experience. But perhaps this pattern wasn’t noticed simply because the research wasn’t looking at the correct aspect, and therefore wasn’t observed.
NDE’s are similar to dreaming, in that it doesn’t occur locally. The ability to recall, or problem therein, depends literally on how gently the patient’s Spirit reintegrates with it’s physical host body, and what condition its in. There is a huge difference between the frequency of Spirit, and it’s body with it’s accompanying natural EM field. These are three different frequencies. Recall also depends on the health of the physical brain, how much stress or duress it is under, whether it is damaged, and other circumstances.
Think of it like a home computer that has a fast processor, but one which has very little RAM to process with, and it is trying to write a very detailed log of its boot up procedure. When it doesn’t have enough RAM to efficiently do everything simultaneously, it will reprioritize in order to reboot itself correctly and forego writing the log.
Spirit operates at a significantly higher frequency than physical matter, and that is it’s original natural state. Ascending in frequency feels natural, happens easily, and can often occur spontaneously and completely, without the individual’s awareness noticing the change in process. When Sprit descends into a physical body the opposite occurs.
The body’s EM field acts as a buffer zone to help synchronize that aspect of the Spirit frequency necessary for reintegration with the body. The EM field also has other purposes such as providing an ident signature, and also provides a protective energetic barrier against various astral or ethereal parasites.
Recall is dependent on the Spirit’s ability to naturally descend in frequency to synchronize with the physical body, and is also time dependent, since Sprit outside of the body operates in a medium where time is malleable, or even not at all relevant to the physical. If this process is forced unnaturally, the human brain sometimes has not gotten up to speed fast enough for effective recall to occur, even though the rest of the host body is able to receive it.
    Thank you for reading.
    And much Much LOVE
    ✊🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✊🏼

I was so tickled and I remember saying out loud "I get to be a little girl again" 😂❤ I was really excited. But... it was the roughest of roads ahead. At this point in the this dream I saw my dad off to the corner of the room we three were in and I told myself - despite knowing I was in a dream - that I would “get to my dad first”. I accomplished this and we sat at a table and I told my dad how much I loved him while I held his hand. He nodded to me and we both had tears in our eyes. Prior to this dream I saw dad suddenly appear all too briefly in a number of dreams but after this dream I was no longer frustrated and felt complete peace.

I had what I consider to be the very first stage of an NDE at age 15 while experiencing anaphylactic shock after consuming a food I didn't know I was allergic to. I was in extreme pain & my throat was closing up, I was panicking & hyperventilating when suddenly a calm, cool wave washed over me. I then floated up about 2-3' above my body & immediately had this huge rush of joy (maybe elation is a better word--it was extreme, raw happiness) at the knowledge that I was going 'home'. I also had the sense that my soul had already experienced a human death hundreds, if not thousands of times & that this process was more natural & real than living on earth. There is no other way to describe it other than to say I was excited to die. I'm not sure why but the next thought was fear & resistance, that this was happening too early in my life & that it wasn't time yet. I snapped back into my body & my parents rushed me to the ER though the allergic symptoms had very much diminished during & after my mini-NDE. I told no one for many years, until I met my spouse. He is agnostic & maybe even borderline atheist but he believes my experience.
For about 10 years following my NDE, I would say my soul/consciousness felt somewhat 'loose' in my body. There were many times in which I would involuntarily hover up above my body or I would astral project (though I didn't learn that was the term for what I was doing until years later) while falling in or out of sleep. I was fearful of these abilities so I turned away & tried to avoid them as much as possible. I no longer have those abilities but that's okay with me, I don't think my soul was ready or able to accept them yet. I am so grateful for that NDE though & that I experienced it early in life. It has very much shaped my mentality & attitude towards life. I don't know why we're here but I know that love is the goal. I want to live but I also do not fear death. I still fear losing loved ones because I will miss them here on earth but I don't fear what will happen to them when they die.
I researched many different religions for years following my NDE but did not find anything solid that fit my experience other than a broad embrace of spirituality. I agree that religions are too rigid. Religion, time, and at least 99% of everything we experience here on earth is a man-made construct & what I experienced during my NDE was anything but. I don't think man's goal on earth is to discover the "real" religion, I believe that truth is unknowable in this space. I think the better focus of energy is to find ways to understand, accept, and love each other and to uncover what our God-given gifts/talents are & to use those for good.

What you are describing is manifesting. “We” are actually a portion of the awareness of our oversoul, which chooses to play a role in the “grand dream” of physical reality. Physical reality is composed of “manifestations” of all the different “players” projecting their individual interpretations of each other’s vibrations into a form which takes shape, ultimately, as the physical world. The reason deceased people see different things during their near-death experiences is because of how they “interpret” the vibrations of what and whom they encounter on the other side. If you interpret a spirit’s vibration as Jesus, then you will “manifest” an image of Jesus as you interact with that spirit. The spirits themselves have no actual physical form. We give physical reality form and meaning based on our interpretation of all the various vibrations that are occurring. Our interpretations are shaped by the history of the incarnated spirit’s physical experiences. Once we have been dead long enough to realize this is how it works, we stop manifesting and slip back into our natural spiritual state of being. Nanci Danison is a good source for how this works if you are interested in exploring it.

Good post. But here’s my take. The brain is actually not dead when a person has an NDE, upon death it releases a flood of chemicals including DMT which shut down sensory gating. Sensory gating is our nervous system keeping out whatever is not useful for our life and survival here on earth. Individuals who are highly sensitive have low sensory gating and are known to perceive a lot of things these NDE reports show, but without actually dying.
Buddha taught there is no soul. No self nature that continuous to exist. No self nature to anything at all in existence. And in meditation this can be observed directly. Who “you” are is just the totality of the universe expressing itself uniquely in this moment. You are everything and no-thing or God in western terms.
After the brain has blasted itself with DMT and other chemicals to open the spirit doors so to speak, the person will do just as you stated: interpret things in the light of its memories. When the brain finally truly dies what will happen is merger with everything and no-thing which it always was. This is what the Buddha called Pari Nibbana.

I've thought about the soul in its relation to God, or Source, or what-have-you, as being more like a mirror. If you take a mirror and break it up into a thousand pieces, each of the pieces are unique but still reflect the same image. I wonder if we are all part of the same consciousness, just stratified for some purpose. What do you think of that idea?

I have not experienced a near death event. Lucky me. My first wife died in 2022. For 10 months between her birthdate in 2022, a few months after her death, to my marriage to a new wife in July 2023, she got my attention, helped me, taught me, revealed to me, encouraged me, answered questions, and gave me permission to marry again. My first wife appeared to me in dreams 4 times. My mother-in-law recently visited me in a dream to show me what she was doing in Heaven. My religious leaders tell me that these things didn't happen because they cannot. What, then are they religious for?

In my late teens early 20's (I'm now 56) I was massively involved in meditation, originally to help me out concentrate my competitors in professional motor racing which I was involved in. The concepts and experiences you describe here are so fascinating to me because through intense concentration meditation I was able to access the same things and it changed my view of reality itself. It appears that by turning off the mind we are able to access other realities. As a keen student of quantum physics it seem our scientific community are also slowly coming to realise these realties are very real also.

I will never forget it. I was driving on a city street and it happened 3-4am so no one was around. I wasn't driving fast either. I was so spiritual I felt like a mystic before it happened, so I haven't experienced any kind of shift of mentality. But I also understand the energetic toll it takes to have your soul nearly separate from your body and get pulled back to Earth. It's a lot. And it takes time to recover from. My energy body/soul feels like it's been through a meat grinder. But perhaps I feel it more because I could regularly communicate with and feel the Other Side for the last few years and can feel the different parts of my soul.
There were more parts of me who wanted to go than wanted to stay. I'm still feeling pretty lost about the whole thing.

What they are going through they can't explain because they've nothing to reference it to making it difficult to correlate this through language. "A qualitatively different experience" , yes thank you for quantifying that. Another excellent point of note is the 'what you are prepared for is what you experience'. I've only thought that myself once, and seen a video on that notion once, now it's confirmed and thank you for that, we may not have the details but the concept seems solid somehow the experience is tailored to the individual.

I had a difficult labour with my only son.
During this, I had an NDE. I left my body, watched the proceedings, then it was as though I was in a space that seemed to be a kind of waiting room. I am a very anxious person and I noted that I felt no anxiety at all - for possibly the first time I could remember even since childhood (I had a turbulent childhood). I wasn't really aware of any detail of myself or my life at that point - I just was. Just existing.
I was 'told' that I could go on to the next thing or I could return. I was warned that if I returned that I would experience excruciating agony and that things would be hard. I was shown a flash of what i would return to. I suddenly realised that I was giving birth and that if I left, my son would have no mother. I couldn't leave him to that life all alone. So I jumped back in, and it was hard and it was agony and life was very difficult for a number of years.
I have a thought that plagues me: other people who experience an NDE seem to be given some great purpose and not many people are given a choice. Does this mean it didn't matter if I lived or died? Not even to my son? It really stresses me out to think about this. I was wondering if anyone had ever encountered something similar and really welcome any thoughts on this.
Thank you so much :) x

There was a reason that you became his mother. Out of all the mothers that he possibly could’ve had, he picked you and you may have very well picked each other before setting foot in this place. Its all a story that is ultimately written by God himself. There may have been something equally important for you if you had chose to move forward. God gave you the option to choose. Knowing otherwise could’ve been too much to handle at the time. Therefore you were in a room with very little influence otherwise. Its all part of the journey of becoming what God already knows what we’re. it’s important for us to participate in coming into that knowledge for ourselves. I believe this is what creates authenticity. When your finished here I’m certain you’ll be excited to move forward and will realize the perplexities of that situation that required the unique settings of that moment of both situations being of equal importance. God just needed to figure his next move and let you make that choice. Cause, God gives us freedom to choose for ourselves. He’s a good God and loves you very much. I’m sure he’s proud of you regardless of the choice you would’ve made and that son of yours is very lucky to have a Mom that choose him, twice.

But I'm not sure. I felt myself lift out of my body, and it was as if I was a large ball of light and I rose up into a much larger ball of light, and it felt like I was being given a big hug. I felt absolute peace, as if I was home. Then I began to fall out of the light, and I seemed to be reaching out to the larger light, "don't let me fall" but I kept falling. Then I felt a huge breath of air enter my lungs and I woke up. I looked out the window and it was a beautiful night will a bright full moon.

Awesome 👌 wonderful. Thank you dear Professor for such a fantastic and deep dive comparative analysis on this complex topic of near death experience. Yes! indeed, as you pointed out that there are a majority of peoples who don't remember their near death experience and there are others a minority who have a clear view of what they saw and witnessed to the other side. The Holy Bible says;" Many ate called, but few are chosen..." Peoples who come back from other side with a good memory of what they saw is simply a blessing from heaven by God. Those few people can give a detailed testimony that enables us to discover ourselves as a spirit beings who cannot die. Our body is simply a temporary suit, a garmen we all wear to participate, to contribute, to experience life in this earth school, that is part of our souls evolution and growth. To God be the glory. Praise the Lord, praise Jesus. Amen 🙏

Thank you for explaining your extended research on NDE with descriptions that are easy to understand. A spiritual experience, which all NDE are, can only be explained with great limits when back in our body and is usually very difficult for the receiver of such message to comprehend. We humans do not have the cabability to understand the debth of all truth. Therefore, it only makes sense that those individuals that are allowed to remember parts of their NDE experience, need time to process all they have experienced from the other side. As you explained so well, when each reporded NDE is different, it does not mean that one is right and the other is not. Each experience is a puzzle brick of a much greater picture. Organized religion is very important as long as they teach the positive message of love, which is respect and tolerance, especially towards that which is not like yourself. Any organisation that spends time to prove others to be wrong, would have to question them self since it is not in harmony with the love that all NDE feel when entering the other side. Even when Christ was on earth in his earthly body, he did not spend time to tell the people on earth, how wrong they were. He respected and tolerated people for being different and then he showed them the way, without pride of feeling superior. Thank you so much for bringing your studies about a complex subject, which NDE is, in words that are easy for all to understand!

The VOID many NDE experiencer,s encounter is the unconscious mind.
The peace most feel reflects a total disconnect from the EGO.
This paves the way for what one's Superconscious mind will then design what to encounter for greater access to wisdom needed for growth.
