And although it's an essential trace mineral, its function is less important than minerals like magnesium, zinc, potassium and calcium. So I'd rather have higher zinc levels and lower copper than vice versa. Btw, never heard of copper deficiency.
People with low iron have copper deficiency. No practitioner will advise you to take vit. or minerals , they will give you transcription for dangerous chemicals and make $$$$.

Yes, it could have some odour, and zinc supplements should always be taken after a meal because they can cause nausea and upset stomach if taken on an empty stomach. xx

It depends on what kind of form zinc is in, you have to check on the label. Gummies generally aren't the best choice because the ingredients aren't the best. In order to make them taste good, they're usually loaded with some kind of sweeteners, flavours, etc.

I wouldn't recommend taking zinc without checking your levels and making sure that you're really low on it. It's so easy to deplete copper levels with extra supplemental zinc. Hair mineral analysis is a great way to test the levels of all the minerals. All the types of zinc I mentioned in this video are great forms.

+Lahana W There are different opinions out there. Anywhere between 1:7 to 1:15 for the copper to zinc ratio, so you'll just have to experiment and find what works for you. I personally took 100mg of chlorophyllin which contained 4mg of copper. xx
I took zinc alone for a year, and the problems started very gradually, so I didn't understand what was happening for a long time. I kept needing to raise the dose of zinc because it worked well for a while and then it wasn't working anymore. It was already suspicious when I went all the way to 100mg and still the zinc taste test showed that I was deficient. Then I started getting very weird back pain (and I never ever do), muscle pains, very weak muscles, extreme fatigue, lack of appetite, and nausea. This part happened very quickly, around 2 weeks after I bumped the dose up to 100mg, so I suspected very heavily that it was copper. When I read about copper deficiency, I realized that I'd just given one to myself. Lucky, after taking chlorophyll, already on the first day my pains and fatigue disappeared and I'm feeling better and better every day now. xx

It's a good source of zinc, but I wouldn't rely on it for copper. Its highly doubtful any of it would be absorbed with the zinc and it's such a tiny amount anyway.

I prefer applying magnesium oil on my skin. But if I take magnesium supplements, I stick to 300mg several times a week to replenish whatever is missing in our soils. xx

High doses might interfere with iron absorption. I would definitely not take them at the same time of the day.

@@Vitalivesfree i have seen your video that you linked....but the supplement that i use is zinc chelate it has copper on it ad chelate too... I dont know if i do have low zinc but i wanna boost testosterone... So anything im missing?
@@mohamedsayed3058 Zinc interferes with copper absorption, so supplements that contain both are kind of useleless.

As far as I understand, gluconate is quite a good source as well.
But 30 mg of zinc can be overdose and cause problems in body.but ideal dose is 11 to 15 mg

I use the same brand how many mg of magnesium do you take?
I prefer applying magnesium oil on my skin. But if I take magnesium supplements, I stick to 300mg several times a week to replenish whatever is missing in our soils. xx

I took it for a while until my body let me know it was saturated with it. I'm not taking it anymore, but perhaps I'll need it in the future again. But bear in mind I live surrounded by the ocean, so I get a lot of iodine naturally. xx

Just like all the other forms of zinc. It's also absorbed pretty well.
I'm taking zinc supplement of now and just 2 days it is and my stomach is paining so badly I'm taking the supplement after the meals but no benefits its paining so bad even i can't write this 😷😭😦

I noticed a common point between zinc and copper supplement. They both hurt my stomach, when I take them on an empty stomach.
Yes, that's normal. Both of them should be taken on a full stomach.

Warning ⚠️ I took zinc copper and it made me throw up I became very nauseous.
Both zinc and copper must be taken on a full stomach to prevent nausea and upset stomach.

VitaLives: But copper is something we have too much in our body and it is poison which leads to health issue. Hence we get enough copper by drinking tap water at home. We are mostly zinc deficiency. So why it didn't worked for me?

It's well absorbed as well, but citrates might potentially interfere with copper absorption, so I personally avoid them. xx
