I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers on my computer and even using the GeForce Experience app to download the newest updates, but to no avail. I even tried the DDU tool afterwards to uninstall certain drivers but it also didn't work. Only after I had seen your comment on another "solutions" video and I tried your method did Valorant finally start working on my computer

@@DupzOG yes sorry there are no current workarounds to this as VGC autoupdates. I have tried to contact a developer on Twitter, but a nobody like me won't warrant any attention. You could try the additional steps, for me I deleted a VPN and now it runs perfectly without having to redo the steps. My apologies

So I followed all of the steps and when I went to load up Valorant, it automatically reinstalled Vanguard and it still says Vanguard not initialized. I'm cluesless.

So...I have this problem where, even after i followed the steps from your tutorial, the vgc application doesn't run after I restart my machine (after I select the automatic start) and when I try to manually run it, it just gives me error 1. I actually went through a lot of videos and none explain this..maybe I'm the only one with this error? (Note: my drivers are all updated) I spent over 14 hours of watching valorant streams just to get the key and play it, but this happens... I'm really sad about it..

@@genes1s493 that is strange, it's hard to know what is causing VGC to bug out. You may have conflicting software. A few people reported the same issue as you. idk why that happens.

Hi, we all have different issues with VGC it's so hard to pinpoint. Sorry for that. Did you copy the files over and run vgc as admin? also did you run the additional steps in the description?
@@ughchrissy not heard its "bannable" per se, not heard of anyone getting banned because of this, but it's true we are using an older version of Vanguard. Unfortunately it's the only workaround atm.
Hey ! Dropped a like, great video The fix worked, then didn't: i'll explain. I did everything like the video but the rito anticheat wasn't launching so then I tried tips number 2 and it worked ! So I managed to play roughly an afternoon but when I started my computer in the evening, no rito vanguard and the vgc service was set back to manual and it went full circle with the error code 1 again. Any idea on what I could do to make it work again ?
Hey thanks for the like! Sorry about this, everytime you have to run the solution again because VGC sucks and is incompatible with lots of different software/drivers, thus it makes it difficult to pinpoint the exact issue for each individual. I encourage you to join the discord in the description because there are some great members of the community helping eachother out.
does anyone know if this something you have to do EVERY time you shut down/restart/sleep your computer? or does this setting stay constant? this process worked for me (even with one file that isnt digitally signed) so im curious if it will stay like this EDIT: this guide was the bomb dot com dude, this was so clear and easy to understand - thanks so much!
Right now there is no current work-around as this has to be run every time you restart. This is mainly because I can't pinpoint everyone issues since we all have different reasons why VGC can't run (ranging from drivers, to windows versions to incompatible software). @@CorporateGamer i think i'll have a better succes doing a rain dance than fixing this, i tried almost everything i found on yt and net, 1.02 patch depressed me :) i start my pc, im checking the Services and vgc is working, i start the game and it shows me that warnings about epileptic and stuff, all good till now, then when i should get into the game i get that Connection error, u know it "VALORANT has encountered a connection error. Please relaunch the client to reconnect"
@@CorporateGamer Then i press quit and restart the client, then i get the vanguard error. It seems that vanguard stops or idk and i cant turn it on again from services/task bar :(

"Did the exact steps, went to Control Panel > Programes > Vanguard > Right click > Uninstall > tried launching Valorant where it installed Vanguard but wanted a reboot > Rebooted and works now. Exited game and launched again and worked." Maybe this? Please keep me updated.

Can you try uninstalling the programs listed in the description aswell as trying to disable your anti-virus during the installation of the game and when running the game and see what happens please? Get back to me on this when you can.

it worked perfectly the first day but then the next day when i logged onto my pc i got the same valorant error msg so then i restarted my pc thinking its a fluke (vgc was still on automatic but was not running) so then i changed my vgc to manual, clicked apply, then changed to automatic and restarted again but it still did not work. its on automatic but just doesnt run on startup and if i try to start it manually it just says incorrect error or soemthing

if u have some vpn software, need to unistall too (like checkpoint vpn movile). this cause the error for me.

I did everything like the video but the rito anticheat wasn't launching so then I tried tips number 2 and it worked ! So I managed to play roughly an afternoon but when I started my computer in the evening, no rito vanguard and the vgc service was set back to manual and it went full circle with the error code 1 again. Any idea on what I could do to make it work again ?

Sorry about this, everytime you have to run the solution again because VGC sucks and is incompatible with lots of different software/drivers, thus it makes it difficult to pinpoint the exact issue for each individual. I encourage you to join the discord in the description because there are some great members of the community helping eachother out.

does anyone know if this something you have to do EVERY time you shut down/restart/sleep your computer? or does this setting stay constant? this process worked for me (even with one file that isnt digitally signed) so im curious if it will stay like this

Right now there is no current work-around as this has to be run every time you restart. This is mainly because I can't pinpoint everyone issues since we all have different reasons why VGC can't run (ranging from drivers, to windows versions to incompatible software). Apologies for that, hopefully a patch will be out in due time.

Glad to hear it's partially fixed - when does the connection error occur and what's the exact error message + code if there is one? Hopefully we can sort this one out too.
@@CorporateGamer i think i'll have a better succes doing a rain dance than fixing this, i tried almost everything i found on yt and net, 1.02 patch depressed me :) i start my pc, im checking the Services and vgc is working, i start the game and it shows me that warnings about epileptic and stuff, all good till now, then when i should get into the game i get that Connection error, u know it "VALORANT has encountered a connection error. Please relaunch the client to reconnect"
@@CorporateGamer Then i press quit and restart the client, then i get the vanguard error. It seems that vanguard stops or idk and i cant turn it on again from services/task bar :(

@@spectrallshark007 Sorry to hear that, hopefully we can find a fix, someone on reddit just suggested re installing - This worked for me, thank you. "Did the exact steps, went to Control Panel > Programes > Vanguard > Right click > Uninstall > tried launching Valorant where it installed Vanguard but wanted a reboot > Rebooted and works now. Exited game and launched again and worked." Maybe this? Please keep me updated.

@@blakepmorr Apologies at the moment there is no permanent work-around. For me personally the perm fix was deleting my VPN software!
@@blakepmorr also - please ensure windows has been updated to the latest version, you can do this by searching "update" in the bottom left search box of your machine then updating

sorry for taking so long to get back to you. VGC is really a nightmare. Can you try uninstalling the programs listed in the description aswell as trying to disable your anti-virus during the installation of the game and when running the game and see what happens please? Get back to me on this when you can.

Guys what he has said is the best solution but if you cant still seem to solve it just reset your windows software not the entire pc it worked for me.
it worked perfectly the first day but then the next day when i logged onto my pc i got the same valorant error msg so then i restarted my pc thinking its a fluke (vgc was still on automatic but was not running) so then i changed my vgc to manual, clicked apply, then changed to automatic and restarted again but it still did not work. its on automatic but just doesnt run on startup and if i try to start it manually it just says incorrect error or soemthing
